금속이온 착체방법에 의한 G4-48PyP 덴드리머의 전기적 특성 (Electrical Properties by different method of metal complex of G4-48PyP Dendrimer)

  • We attempted to fabricate a dendrimer Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) films containing 48 pyridinepropanol functional end group. As the pyridinepropanol functional group could form a complex structure with metal ions. In this study the samples for electrical measurement were fabricated to two types metal complexes with $Pt^{4+}$ ions by LB method. And we have investigated the surface activity at the air-water interface as well as the electrical properties for the monolayers of G4-48PyP dendrimer complex with metal ions($Pt^{4+}$ ions) by different method. In the surface pressure-area(${\pi}$-A) isotherms of the dendrimers, the stable condensed films formed at the air-water interface and the different method of metal complex showed the difference on molecular behavior. We have studied the electrical properties of the ultra thin dendrimer LB films investigated by the current-voltage (I-V) characteristics of metal/dendrimer LB films/metal(MIM) structure. In conclusion, it is demonstrated that the metal ion around G4-48PyP dendrimer can contribute to make formation of network structure among dendrimers and it result from the change of electrical properties.

Interfaces Between Rubber and Metallic or Textile Tire Cords

  • Bonding metal and textile components to rubber has always posed a problem. In this paper, an attempt had been made to modify textile and metal surfaces for bonding with rubber. The metal surfaces were modified using silane coupling agents and textile fibers were modified using plasma polymerization techniques. Some results on adhesion of metals to a range of sulfur-cured rubber compounds using a combination of organofunctional silanes are given here. The treatment was not only effective for high-sulfur compounds but also for low-sulfur com pounds as used in engine mounts and even for some semi-EV compounds. Coatings of plasmapolymerized pyrrole or acetylene were deposited on aramid and polyester tire cords. Standard pull-out force adhesion measurements were used to determine adhesion of tire cords to rubber compounds. The plasma coatings were characterized by various techniques and the performance results are explained in an interpenetrating network model.

304스테인리스강 스크린의 광 반사율 감소를 위한 착색 처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Coloring of 304 Stainless Steel Screen for Reducing Light Reflectivity)

  • The colored films formed on 304 stainless steel plates by immersion treatment and electrochemical one in a solution containing sulphuric acids and chromic acids were studied by SEM, AES, and spectrophotometer. The thicknesses of the films by 20 minutes treatment were about 200 nm and it became thinner as the treatment times were increased. The surface texture showed a tortuous network of interlinking pathways. The color of the 304 steel surface changed from metallic white to gray, black, red, yellow-green, and green-blue, gradually, by the treatment time was increased. The reflectivity measured by UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer was reduced from max. 38% of basis metal to min. 3.5% of colored surface.

  • We synthesized dendrimers containing light switchable units, azobenzene group. And the dendrimer containing 48 pyridinepropanol functional end group, which could form a complex structure with metal ions was synthesized. To apply to the molecular level devices or data storage system using Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) film, we firstly investigated the monolayer behavior using the surface pressure-area($\pi$-A) isotherms at air-water interface. And then the surface pressure shift of monolayer by light irradiation was also measured to the dendrimer with azobezene group. As a result, the monolayer of dendrimer with azobenzene group showed the reversible photo-switching behavior by the isomerization of azobenzene group in their periphery. The samples for electrical measurement were fabricated to two types which were pure dendrimer with pyridinepropanol group and its complexes with $Pt^4+$ ions by LB method. 4H-SiC기판 위의 자기구조화된 Ag/Ti 나노입자 제어를 위한 열처리 분석 (Annealing Effect on controlling Self-Organized Ag/Ti Nanoparticles on 4H-SiC Substrate)

  • 본 연구에서는 4H-SiC(0001)기판 위에서 형성되는 나노구조화를 제어하기 위해 상지층과 하지층으로 구성된 이중층 금속을 증착하고 두께, 열처리 시간을 변화하였다. 또한 표면에너지와 응집현상의 상관관계를 분석하기 위해 SiC와는 다른 표면에너지를 갖는 Glass와 Si기판에도 같은 조건으로 실험하였다. FE-SEM을 통하여 금속이 나노구조화를 형성하는 두께가 Ag=20nm, Ti=2nm임을 확인 했으며 두께가 두꺼울 수록 나노 입자가 형성되지 않았다. 세기판의 표면에너지를 구하기 위해 접촉각 측정기를 통해 정접촉각법으로 측정하였다. 그 결과 표면에너지 값이 가장 높은 Glass(53.89 mN/m) 기판에서 나노 입자가 가장 고르게 분포된 형태를 보였으며 SiC(41.13 mN/m)에서 나노구조화 되는 양상을 보였고, Si(32.96 mN/m)에서는 NPs 형성이 되지 않았다. 표면에너지가 작을수록 나노 입자형성이 고르게 분포되는 현상을 Young equation으로 분석하였다.

절삭가공의 Neural Network 모델을 위한 ACO 및 PSO의 응용 (Application of Ant Colony Optimization and Particle Swarm Optimization for Neural Network Model of Machining Process)

  • Turning, a main machining process, is a widespread process in metal cutting industries. Many researchers have investigated the effects of process parameters on the machining process. In the turning process, input variables including cutting speed, feed, and depth of cut are generally used. Surface roughness and electric current consumption are used as output variables in this study. We construct a simulation model for the turning process using a neural network, which predicts the output values based on input values. In the neural network, obtaining the appropriate set of weights, which is called training, is crucial. In general, back propagation (BP) is widely used for training. In this study, techniques such as ant colony optimization (ACO) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) as well as BP were used to obtain the weights in the neural network. Particularly, two combined techniques of ACO_BP and PSO_BP were utilized for training the neural network. Finally, the performances of the two techniques are compared with each other.

표면 결함 검출을 위한 데이터 확장 및 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of Data Augmentation for Surface Defects Detection)

  • Data augmentation is an efficient way to reduce overfitting on models and to improve a performance supplementing extra data for training. It is more important in deep learning based industrial machine vision. Because deep learning requires huge scale of learning data to learn a model, but acquisition of data can be limited in most of industrial applications. A very generic method for augmenting image data is to perform geometric transformations, such as cropping, rotating, translating and adjusting brightness of the image. The effectiveness of data augmentation in image classification has been reported, but it is rare in defect inspections. We explore and compare various basic augmenting operations for the metal surface defects. The experiments were executed for various types of defects and different CNN networks and analysed for performance improvements by the data augmentations.

  • The purpose of this study was to present the method to choose the optimum machining condition for the wire EDM. This was completed by examining the ever-changing quality of the material and by improving the function of the wire electric discharge machine. Precision metal mold products and the unmanned wire electric discharge machining system were used and then applied in industrial fields. This experiment uses the wire electric discharge machine with brass wire electrode of 0.25mm. To measure the precision of the machining surface, average values are obtained from 3 samples of measures of center-line average roughness by using a third dimension gauge and a stylus surface roughness gauge.
