This study clarifies that Scytian waistband had flowed into the Jeoseon Dynasty, and it was settled down to saezodae(which is male belt) and norigae(which is female accessory) and pocket in the Joseon Dynasty. Historical records and relic materials are examined and analyzed by quality assessment. 5 experts performs sensory evaluation for 17 pictures of Scytian waistband, and 42 of norigae, 24 of pocket, 6 of small knife, 11 of belt in the Joseon Dynasty, and finally similarity in form and purpose of use between both of them are come out. Research results are summarized as follows: First, Scytian waistband made with leather and metal was carried in the girdle. Men in the Joseon Dynasty carried various forms of belts as position and jobs such as saezodae, kwangdahae, dongdahae, doa. Trinkets of hopae, jangdo, pocket, etc. are put on belt or separately attached. Belt was not put on the women dress, but more various trinkets were used than those on men dress. Norigae, pocket, and jangdo were used practically and decoratively. Second, The types of Scytian waistband were excavated from the tumulus in the age of three states in Korea, and their form and function are same. Belt of the Joseon Dynasty carried below their chest and up navel, of which the wearing position went upper than before. As women jeogori was shorter, their belt is not necessary and various trinkets were put in their skirt. Finally, this study conclude that Korean traditional belt and trinkets come down from Scythian waistband.

This study aimed to reveal the concept and background of emergence of black leather jacket that began appearing in full-scale among youth sub-culture from 1950's, and to research its styles and aesthetic features on the basis of that. The researcher has intended to a theoretical frame to recreate black leather jacket which has been developing in youth sub-culture style as a resource of new design in modern fashion trend through this study There are 5 styles of black leather jacket in youth sub-culture after 1950's. Firstly, biker style black leather jacket showed ruined war heroes substituting for military uniform. Secondly, rocker style black leather jacket brought the conversion in definition of masculinity. Thirdly, greaser style black leather jacket showed the beauty of uncleanness expressing resistance and violence with tattered dirty materials and excessive metal ornaments. Fourthly, headbanger style black leather jacket was prominent in various and compound decoration due to combination of rocker and hippie features. fifthly, punk style black leather jacket was influenced greatly by Sex Pistols. There are broadly three ecstatic features oi black leather jacket among youth sub-culture. With regard to displaying terrorism, black leather jacket displayed threatening aspects with black color, formative beauty of inverted triangle, additional decoration, and animal & brutal feelings. Paradoxical trophyism showed Nihilism, disorder, and resistance through black color that symbolize bad luck and unstability, trophyism with bad flavor, tattered material effect, and destructive message painting. Masculine eroticism appeared in accordance with pursuing after pleasure and masculine sexuality through exposure of buttocks and focused penis due to jacket's short length, and fetish of black.

This study is on perfume case that is one of a great number of ornaments which was designed by out ancestors. We had developed the tradition and the history of perfume case bag fan-weight etc. These have the same function as the present perfume. case. There were basket-shaped perfume cases which were the smellest one among the personal girdle ornaments in the silla era. The various patterned perfume case were made of gold metal coral platinum or green jadeite etc. In the single-crop trinkets a embroidered perfume bag with the gold and silver thread whose forms perfectly match their functions appeared during the Yi Dynasty. There was also a perfume bag which was one of the daily necessities. A precious "jul perfume" was carried by noble women. A fan-weight perfume bag was attached to the fan to emphasize the intrinsic beauty of utility and function. It is necessary to know the function of prefume case. As perfume case is weared on the clothes it was given more decorative effects as well as the function of medicinal amulet with a sweet smell. Therefore it is very important for us to study perfume case that has various function as an ornament. So The purpose of this study is to investigate the practical and decorative side of perfume case with the general examines of perfume finding how to practice use through our life. The results were as follows; 1. The first use of perfume is perfume through smoke which is for ceremony of religion It removes human body odor by degrees and spreads a sweet odor. Also the materials for making perfume of early age is aromatic plants which will be used flour-made flowers stems. As the materials for making perfume use is increasing today we can invent alcohol perfume today 2. Our country the custom of perfume-used is wide. Among them men's perfume-used was very special phenomenon. For example men were wearing perfume bag in the Silla era. Because perfume represented wealth and noble in those days. They shew off social position personality through perfume-used. 3. One of early religion ceremony article there was the perfume. And perfume case was means for containing perfume. Gradually the perfume case was used widly as increasing needs of perfume in human life. 4. In the middle period of 'Koryo' Dynasty perfume cases had a close relationship with clothes but after Mongolian has been attacked 'Koryo' there were changes in wearing clothes therefore the position of perfume cases were transfered to coat string that was the origin of decoration style that they began. That is to say the perfume case has been influenced the position of perfume case shapes with changing of fashion. 5. The perfume case has been made manifest various function as an ornament. In the practical side First medical-perfume in perfume case has been played an important role in first-aid medicine in critical condition. Second it was amulet for self protection. That is the shape pattern color materials perfume of the perfume case was represented the amuletive nature. Third it was used as substitute article of perfume. Modern women use liquid-perfume as our ancestors used perfume case bag or jul perfume As started above. Also In the decorative side the perfume case has a beautiful formative arts by itself as well as a close relationship with clothes. That well as a close relationship with clothes. That is when the perfume case is worn on the clothes costume is showed aesthetices. That is the materials shapes color pattern of the perfume case we can see the visual beauty also the materials colors embroidered pattern knots tassel that are used the perfume case are increased the decorative beauty of costume. Sixth the symbol in pattern of the pattern case is shown ancetor's wealth and rank health longevity immortality many-born-boy in those days. Today the perfume case is not used with changing of costume by degrees, Accordingly I hope that the result of this study is an influened in devlopment of the perfume case design with matching the modern fashion.

본 연구에서는 스마트팔찌와 스마트워치의 물리적 특성이(예: 모양, 색상, 소재, 크기, 무게, 기술적 기능) 소비자의 기능적, 심미적, 상징적 가치 지각에 미치는 영향을 확장된 기술수용모형을 사용하여 탐색하였다. 스마트팔찌나 스마트워치를 사용한 경험이 있는 미국 거주 성인 남녀를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였고, 최근 1년 사용했거나 현재 사용중인 제품에 대한 다양한 물리적 특성과 그에 대한 평가를 질문하였다. 연구 결과, 전면 디스플레이 모양이 상징적 가치에 유의한 영향을 미쳤는데, 구체적으로 원과 정사각형은 직사각형보다 유의하게 높은 상징적 가치를 보였다. 손목밴드의 소재 역시 상징적 가치에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 여러 소재 중에서도 금속과 가죽의 상징적 가치가 높게 나타났다. 또한, 제품의 크기가 클수록 높아지는 상징적 가치를 확인하였다. 이 외에도 활동 추적, 알람 시계, 거리 추적과 같은 기술적 기능은 기능적 가치를, 시계, GPS, 이메일 같은 기술적 기능은 심미적 가치를, 보폭계, GPS, 이메일은 상징적 가치를 높게 지각하도록 했다. 이러한 결과는 스마트팔찌와 스마트워치에 대한 소비자 욕구를 이해하여 제품을 개선하거나 신제품 개발하는 자료로 사용될 수 있다.

고리수는 편결(編結)과 금속공예의 기술이 접목된 새로운 형식의 수법(繡法)이다. 실올끼리 고리를 서로 엮어가며 공간상(空間上)에서 들떠 있어 마치 투조(透彫)와 같은 느낌을 준다. 수놓은 천에는 금박(金箔)이나 금실과 같은 황금 재질을 삽입하여 화려한 광택을 표현하고 있다. 이러한 특징은 고리수가 서구의 레이스워크(lacework) 공예와 그 형태 및 기법이 유사하면서도 가장 다른 점이다. 10세기 고려 초기, 강원도 월정사의 동자문수향갑낭(童子紋繡香匣囊)에서 고리수의 결구원(結構元) 무늬를 통해 초창기 자취를 발견할 수 있다. 조선 중기 왜란 시(1592, 선조 25년), 고리수 유물은 일본으로 약탈되어 '고려번(高麗幡)'이라고 불리며, 지금은 탁의(卓衣)의 형태로 개조되어 전한다. 19세기의 연대와 출처가 확실한 조선시대 궁수(宮繡) 베갯모에는 삼각무늬의 금박지(金箔紙)를 삽입하여 노란색 누에실을 엮어 짠 고리 감기수가 완벽하게 보존되어 있다. 고리수의 침법(針法)을 크게 분류하면, '고리수', '고리 감기수', '고리 새김수'의 3가지로 나눌 수 있다. 10세기경 초기 단계에서 13세기까지 고리수는 여러 침법으로 변화하며 점차 2~3가지의 입체적인 색채를 사용하였다. 고리수는 중세 이후 서양에서 비약적 발전을 보이며 고귀한 수공예로 알려진 레이스 짜기와 유사한 결구원을 지녔는데, 우리나라에서는 이미 10세기경 혹은 그 이전부터 편결과 금속공예가 접목된 복합적 공예 양식으로 탄생하여 천년 동안이나 그 수법(繡法)을 지속적으로 사용했다. 본 연구를 통해 한국에서 19세기 자수 베갯모에 고리수가 여전히 사용되고 있음을 밝혔다. 아울러 이러한 연구의 성과를 토대로 고리수의 원형기술을 복원했다. 그리고 '중요무형문화재 제80호' 기능보유자 한상수 자수장과 조선시대 고리수 유물들을 재현했다. 고리수 자수품은 편결과 금속공예의 황금세공기술이 자수공예와 접목하여 탄생된 전통과학기술의 복합적 산물(産物)이다. 이것을 계승과 창조의 새로운 방향으로 자수, 편결, 직조, 염색 등 기타 공예 관련 산업 분야에 확대 응용한다면, 의료(衣料)와 패션, 장식공예, 미술 디자인 등에 고급 부가가치의 신기술로 개발되어 활용될 수 있다. 또한 다른 공예기술과도 상호 보완된다면, 표현 영역의 확대와 더불어 다양한 예술적 조형미를 추구할 수 있어 우리의 삶에서 더욱 풍부한 미적 생활을 공유하게 되리라고 본다.

Chitosan is biodegradable natural polymer that has been demonstrated its ability to improve wound healing, and calcium metaphosphate(CMP) is a unique class of phosphate minerals having a polymeric structure. In this study, chitosan/CMP and platelet derived growth factor(PDGF-BB) loaded chitosan/CMP sponges were developed, and the effect of the sponges on bone regeneration and their possibility as scaffolds for bone formation by three-dimensional osteoblast culture were examined. PDGF-BB loaded chitosan/CMP sponges were prepared by freeze-drying of a mixture of chitosan solution and CMP powder, and soaking in a PDGF-BB solution. Fabricated sponge retained its 3-dimensional porous structure with $100-200\;{\mu}m$ pores. The release kinetics of PDGF-BB loaded onto the sponge were measured in vitro with $^{125}I-labeled$ PDGF-BB. In order to examine their possibility as scaffolds for bone formation, fetal rat calvarial osteoblastic cells were isolated, cultured, and seeded into the sponges. The cell-sponge constructs were cultured for 28 days. Cell proliferation, alkaline phosphatase activity were measured at 1, 7, 14 and 28 days, and histologic examination was performed. In order to examine the effect on the healing of bone defect, the sponges were implanted into rat calvarial defects. Rats were sacrificed 2 and 4 weeks after implantation and histologic and histomorphometrical examination were performed. An effective therapeutic concentration of PDGF-BB following a high initial burst release was maintained throughout the examination period. PDGF-BB loaded chitosan/CMP sponges supported the proliferation of seeded osteoblastic cells as well as their differentiation as indicated by high alkaline phosphatase activities. Histologic findings indicated that seeded osteoblastic cells well attached to sponge matrices and proliferated in a multi-layer fashion. In the experiments of implantation in rat calvarial defects, histologic and histomorphometric examination revealed that chitosan/CMP sponge promoted osseous healing as compared to controls. PDGF-BB loaded chitosan/CMP sponge further echanced bone regeneration. These results suggested that PDGF-BB loaded chitosan/CMP sponge was a feasable scaffolding material to grow osteoblast in a three-dimentional structure for transplantation into a site for bone regeneration.
