차세대 그린 에너지 발전 시설을 위한 응용 메시지 프로토콜의 분석 및 응용 (Analysis of Application Message Protocol for Control Network in Green Power Systems)

  • This paper discusses a common message protocol for green power systems such as tidal, wind, photovoltaic, and solar systems. For this investigations and analysis, existing protocols such as ELCOM-90, TASE.1, ICCP/TASE.2 and SCADA were analyzed for the application of green power systems in view of real-time property and reliability. For the analysis, the practical example of green power system using SACADA and ICCP are investigated and discussed. As a future direction of this investigations, the feasibility analysis of manufacturing message specification(ISO-9560) for green power system is discussed.

  • This paper proposes the design of a novel distributed message management scheme using a message-oriented management and analysis tool (MOMAT) for naval combat system (NCS) middle-ware. If a message is not guaranteed real-time of the NCS with each node, it causes the loss of data and decreases the reliability of systems. To solve these problems, improved message management schemes are proposed. Message management schemes are considering a real-time user management scheme and a real-time traffic management scheme. The proposed schemes are simulated with a developed simulation tool, data publisher, and subscriber connected through nodes in middle-ware. The simulation results show improved results in terms of message round-trip time (RTT), End-to-End delay, and throughput.

  • In this paper, we have proposed a design method for standardization of weapon information exchange between a weapon control computer of guided missile system and a high echelon command and control system. Because the weapon control computer based on diverse combat platforms is operated with several kinds of a high echelon system, it is necessary to provide a standardized design method for weapon information exchange between mutual system. In fact, it is possible to standardize a interface design specification of weapon information message because weapon information message is closely related to standard tactical data link message. It is essential that the interface design specification of weapon information is submitted to that of tactical data link information. It seems that this interface design specification is very useful in development process of the future weapon system.

  • In this paper we present an architecture, implementation, and performance evaluation of an adaptive communication system (ACS) for wide-area ATM clusters. Our approach capitalizes on thread-based programming model to overlap computation and communication and develop a dynamic message-passing environment with separate data and control paths. This leads to a flexible and adaptive message-passing environment that can support multiple flow control, error control, and multicasting algorithms. We show the performance of ACS applications and compare them with p4, PVM, and MPI applications.

라운드 로빈 실시간 네트워크에서의 가변 길이 트래픽을 위한 오류제어 기법 (An Error Control Scheme for Variable Length Traffic on Round Robin Style Real-Time Networks)

  • 본 논문은 각 노드들이 라운드 로빈 형태로 매체에 접근하는 전송제어 기반 실시간 네트워크에서 시간 제약조건을 고려한 오류 제어 기법을 제안하고 성능을 평가한다. 전송제어 네트워크에는 FDDI, TDMA 및 무선 LAN 등이 속하는데 이러한 네트워크들은 실시간 전송 보장을 위해 오프라인 시에 대역폭 할당을 수행한다. 수신자는 비동기 대역폭을 통해 재전송 요청을 하며 송신자는 대역폭 할당 과정에서 불가피하게 발생한 여분의 대역폭을 이용하여 재전송을 수행하기 때문에 다른 메시지의 전송에 영향을 주씨 않고 종료시한 내에서 오류제어가 수행된다. 또 메시지 프레임들로 하여금 메시지의 길이와 순서번호를 포함하도록 하여 메시지의 길이가 주기마다 다는 경우에도 수신자가 빠르게 오류를 보고함으로써 보다 많은 오류에 대한 복구가 가능하다. 분석 결과와 SMPL을 이용한 실험 결과는 제안된 방식이 실시간 통신을 위한 오류제어 기능으로서 네트워크 오류를 극복하여 메시지의 종료시한 만족도를 증가시킬 수 있으며 이중화 혹은 중복 전송 네트워크에 비견할 만한 성능을 보임으로써 적은 비용으로 실시간 네트워크를 구축할 수 있음을 보인다.

Research on Railway Safety Common Data Model and DDS Topic for Real-time Railway Safety Data Transmission

  • In this paper, we propose the design of railway safety common data model to provide common transformation method for collecting data from railway facility fields to Real-time railway safety monitoring and control system. This common data model is divided into five abstract sub-models according to the characteristics of data such as 'StateInfoMessage', 'ControlMessage', 'RequestMessage', 'ResponseMessage' and 'ExtendedXXXMessage'. This kind of model structure allows diverse heterogeneous data acquisitions and its common conversion method to DDS (Data Distribution Service) format to share data to the sub-systems of Real-time railway safety monitoring and control system. This paper contains the design of common data model and its DDS Topic expression for DDS communication, and presents two kinds of data transformation case studied for verification of the model design.

자동화 시스템에서 Profibus 네트워크 인터페이스 구현 및 성능 평가 (A case study on the implementation and performance evaluation of profibus network in automation systems)

  • This paper presents an implementation method of Profibus interface software using FMS(Fieldbus Message Specification). The Profibus interface software is implemented on PC which is widely used as an industrial computer as well as a commercial embedded controller called IUC(Intelligent Universal Controller). In order to enable the Profibus interface software to handle many application tasks and communication services, two kinds of real-time/multi-tasking operating system, OS-9 and CTask, are utilized. We also develop an experimental model of Profibus-based automation system, and evaluate the performance of the Profibus network. Through experiments, the user layer level message latency is measured with respect to the change of message length, message generation interval and TRT(Target Rotation Time). The results of experiment are compared with those of a simulation model which comprises only the physical and data link layers of Profibus. The results of this study shows that the message latency in the user layer level occupies fairly a large part of the total message latency.

차량 내부 네트워크에서 메세지 인증을 이용한 사이버 공격 탐지 (Cyber Attack Detection Using Message Authentication for Controller Area Networks)

  • 본 논문은 차량 내부 네트워크에서 메시지 인증을 사용하여 사이버 공격을 탐지할 수 있는 보안 시스템을 제안한다. 자동차 내부 네트워크는 브로드캐스트 방식으로 메시지를 전송하고 노드의 식별자를 사용하지 않으므로 송신자를 식별할 수 없다. 송신 노드는 제어 데이터를 암호화 해시함수를 사용하여 메시지인증코드를 생성하여 제어 데이터와 같이 전송한다. 메시지인증코드 생성 시, 결과의 임의성을 증가시키기 위해서 다차원 카오틱 맵을 적용하였다. 수신 노드는 수신한 메시지의 제어 데이터에 대해 생성된 메시지인증코드를 수신 메시지에 존재하는 메시지인증코드 값과 비교하여 전송된 메시지의 위조 여부를 탐지한다. CANoe와 CAPL(Communication Access Programming Language)을 사용하여 차량 내부 네트워크 환경을 구성하고 사이버 공격을 수행하여 성능을 평가하였으며 탐지율 100%의 성능을 보였다.

  • This paper deals with the real-time message network system by a CAN (controller area network) based on the real-time distributed control scheme to integrate actuators and sensors in a humanoid robot. In order to apply the real-time distributed processing for a humanoid robot, each control unit should have the real-time efficient control method, fast sensing method, fast calculation and real-time valid data exchange method. Moreover, the data from sensors and encoders must be transmitted to the higher level of control units in maximum time limit. This paper describes the real-time message network system design and the performance of the system.

최대한의 멸균 차단법의 이행도와 중심정맥관 관련 혈류감염 발생에 대한 단문문자메시지 중재 효과 (Effects of a Short Message Service Intervention on Adherence to Maximal Sterile Barrier Precautions and Catheter-Related Blood Stream Infections)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of a short message service intervention on adherence to maximal barrier precautions (MBP) and catheter-related blood stream infections. Method: The data were collected from March to September, 2008, at an 826-bed university-affiliated hospital in Daejeon. The study participants were 24 physicians who were inserting central catheters and 133 patients (control group 78 and intervention group 55) with central catheter insertions. The researcher sent the message (adherence to MBP and optimal recommendations) to each internal medicine doctor using the short message service (SMS) for cellular phones. Messages were sent monthly for 3 months. Data were analyzed by chi-square test and t-test using SPSS 12.0 windows program. Result: Adherence to maximal barrier precautions was significantly increased from 44.9% to 69.1% (p=.006) after the SMS intervention. But changes in the rate of CRBSI (catheter related blood stream infection) between the intervention group (1.89) and the control group (4.45) were not significant (p=.323). Conclusions: The results indicate that the SMS intervention is effective in increasing the adherence to maximal barrier precautions and the SMS intervention can be recommended for utilization in infection control nursing practice.
