This research was practiced to comparative investigate the distribution of sensory and motor neuron linkaged with Yangji(TE4) by using neural-tracer technology. A total 16 S-D rats were used in the present research. After anesthesia, the rats received micro-injection of $6{\mu}{\ell}$ of cholera toxin B subunit(CTB) into the relation positions of the Yangji(TE4), in the human body for observing the distribution of the linkaged sensory neurons in dorsal root ganglia(DRGs) and motor neurons in the spinal cord(C3~T4) and sympathetic ganglia. 3 days after the micro injection, the rats were anesthetized and transcardially perfused saline and 4% paraformaldehyde, followed by routine section of the DRGs, sympathetic chain ganglia(SCGs) and spinal cord. Marked neurons and nerve fibers were detected by immunohistochemical method and observed by light microscope. The marked neurons were recorded and counted. From this study the distribution of primary sensory and motor neurons linkaged with Yangji(TE4) were concluded as follows. Yangji(TE4) dominated by spinal segments of C5~T1, C6~T4, individually.

This study was performed to investigate the cause, symptom, treatment of OPLL through Western medicine and Dong-Eui-Bo-Kham(東醫寶鑑) Results & conclusins 1. Ossification of the posterior hgament(OPLL) have radiculopathy, myelopathy or both of them such as neck pain, numbness, myatonia 2. Neck pain of OPLL seems to be simular with pain in the neck(頸項痛), neck stiffness(項强), stiffness and pain of head and neck(頭項彈痛). The causes were usually Dampness and Cold, Wind. The treatments were classified according to pathoigenic factor(病因) and muscle along the regular meridian(經筋) 3. Radiculopathy of OPLL seems to be similar with numbness(痺證). The causes were usually, pathogenic Wind, Cold, Dampness. The treatments were classified according to diagnosis of three kinds of BI syndrome(三痺), five kind of Bi synrome(五痺), five jang Bi(五臟痺), six Bu Bi(六腑痺) 4. Myelopathy of OPLL seems to be simular with myatonia(痿證) The cause of myatoma was Lung scorched by Heat(肺熱葉無). And the treatment was purping the south and reinforcing the north(寫南方 補北方). We considered that more study to find various and effective methods oriental medicine for OPLL should be made.

In this paper, the O-Ring Measurement System (O-R MS) has been designed to supplement such subectivity and apply to the diagnosis by constitution. A single chip microprocessor of Intel MCS-51 family has been used to control the O-R MS and process data with real time, and the O-R MS could measure the minute muscular strength, expanded width between fingers, and time of the measurement. Therefore the objective constitutional diagnosis is possible by the O-R MS. As a clinical testing for estimating credibility of O-R MS, the acupuncture points representing the constitution has been stimulated using a semiconductor laser stimulator and measure the muscular strength by the O-R MS. The result of clinical testing has been shown that the constitutional diagnosis with the O-R MS is proved highly precision of 96% and it is expected that the O-R MS can be used practically for the objective constitutional diagnosis.
