This paper describes a DAVIC based VoD service system that allows access via the Web, taking advantage of the wide availability of Web browsers. A simple access mechanism of a DAVIC based VoD system, using a Web browser is adopted on the proposed system. The client and VoD server are compliant with DAVIC, a user can access the VoD server simply by selecting the Web server's address via a Web browser. A menu enables the user to select VCR-like buttons, to establish an S2 control flow and to send the commands contained in the buttons to the VoD server. A simple implementation shows the feasibility of the proposed approach.

This paper presents the development of interactive graphical software for the educational purpose of power flow(PF) calculation. The developed software is specially designated to give a beginner the interest on PF problem as well as to increase the understanding of it with ease. the software developed in this paper is basically composed of the pull-down menu driver, in which various functions, such as Program Master, Data File Management, Case Study Option, PF Run and View Output, are prepared to handle the software easily and thus to be familiar with power flow calculation. A special design is also considered for interactive operation of the software, wi th which user can interrupt the computation process of PF to control the convergency of PF algorithm, With this function begineer can acquire the understanding of convergency characteristics and numerical sensitivity of PF algorithm as well as basic concept of its computation logic. Futhermore, various graphic illustrations is also provided to review and compare the computation results on monitor.

본 논문에서는 스마트폰 기반의 산업현장 공정관리에 대한 학습 App을 연구한 논문으로 공정의 측정치 데이터를 입력하여 관리한계선을 구하고 해당 범위를 벗어나는 이상 원인을 관리하였다. 본 공정관리를 위한 데이터입력 메뉴를 통해 이상 원인의 측정치를 검출하고 지난기록을 조회하도록 하였으며, 학습도구로 사용하기 위해 교육기관의 공지사항을 게시판 형태로 제공하여 정보교류에 도움을 주었다. 또한 본 이론과 사용방법에 대한 메뉴를 추가하였다. 본 공정관리의 결과는 차트로 제공되며, 알람메시지는 색상 심볼로 경고의 레벨에 따라 명확하게 결과를 표시해 주는 UI로 설계하였다. 본 App에 대해 관련학과와 App개발학과에 설문조사를 한 결과 사용의 편의성에 활용도가 있다는 응답이 약 82%, 학습효과 대해 약 90%가 만족한다는 결과를 보였다.

This study aimed to identify efficient methods for the globalization of Korean food in Vietnam. For this, we interviewed owners of 11 Korean restaurants in Hanoi and 9 Korean restaurants in Ho Chi Minh. Due to the rapid economic development of Vietnam, the restaurant industry for the middle class has drastically increased. For the globalization of Korean food, new positioning of Korean restaurants is needed. Research has shown that Korean restaurants need to change their style of management. Although the first generation of Korean restaurant owners managed restaurants as a family business, a new professional management system is now required. Above all, it is necessary to develop and support a comprehensive food culture system in which the menu is suited to the taste of the natives and its recipe is distributed with food material quality control, hygienic control, and operation of a localized management system.

Quantizing and extracting visual features of mushroom(Lentinus edodes L.) are crucial to the sorting and grading automation, the growth state measurement, and the dried performance indexing. A computer image processing system was utilized for the extraction and measurement of visual features of front and back sides of the mushroom. The image processing system is composed of the IBM PC compatible 386DK, ITEX PCVISION Plus frame grabber, B/W CCD camera, VGA color graphic monitor, and image output RGB monitor. In this paper, an automatic thresholding algorithm was developed to yield the segmented binary image representing skin states of the front and back sides. An eight directional Freeman's chain coding was modified to solve the edge disconnectivity by gradually expanding the mask size of 3$\times$3 to 9$\times$9. A real scaled geometric quantity of the object was directly extracted from the 8-directional chain element. The external shape of the mushroom was analyzed and converted to the quantitative feature patterns. Efficient algorithms for the extraction of the selected feature patterns and the recognition of the front and back side were developed. The developed algorithms were coded in a menu driven way using MS_C language Ver.6.0, PC VISION PLUS library fuctions, and VGA graphic functions.

식음료상품의 시스템화와 매뉴얼화, 서비스의 질적 향상, 기술혁신 변화 등을 바탕으로 호텔식음료 부문의 매출증대와 이윤의 극대화를 위한 요인을 찾아내는 것은 점점 더 거세진 외부환경 변화에 대응하기 위한 중요한 대책이 아닐 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 여러 호텔 식음료 부문중 식음료 상품의 품질, 레스토랑, 연회장, 메뉴, 서비스 관리 등에 대한 품질관리상의 여러 과제들을 파악하고 이에 관련된 문제들을 해결할 수 있는 방안을 강구해보고자 시도되었다. 즉 호텔 식음료 부문의 특성에 따라 호텔 식음료 품질의 중요도 평가가 유의미적인 차이를 보이는지에 대한 검증을 하고 이에 대한 마케팅의 방안을 제시하여 보았다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the cooker's regnition and real attitude abut standard cost system who are engazing in hotel restaurants in Seoul area. The sample was consisted of 307 cookers(male ; 82.7%, female ; 17.3%_ and the used method in analyzing is surveying method and statistical analysis(SPSS PC Package ; Version 3.0). The results of this study are summarized as follows ; 1. Standard cost system, mass purchase and proper recipe were presented in order to economize on real cost and the purchase and preservation of food were presented as important control factor to econimize cost. 2. Most coolers were recognizing the necessity of standard cost system and they relyed the purpose of standard cost calculation on standard cost control. They also thought standard cost accounting information system as good method to economize cost and they were favorable abut the usage of computer in improving working ability. 3. Most of cookers(80%) wanted to be independant restaurant manager and they were favorable Korean restaurant and Western restaurant. 4. The cookers represented the oder of importance by nutrition, preferance of food, economy in composing cooking menu and by taste, odor, variety, decoration in cooking.

지상파 DMB에서는 양방�� 데이터 서비스를 위하여 MPEG-4 BIFS 규격을 사용하고 있다. BIFS는 콘텐츠의 장면을 구성하는 AV, 이미지, 그래픽, 텍스트 등의 다양한 멀티미디어 객체를 장면상에 표현하고, 사용자로부터 입력을 받아 표현된 객체를 조작하도록 하는 것이 가능하다. 그러나 BIFS가 다양한 형태의 입력장치를 갖는 멀티미디어 시스템에 부합되도록 설계되었지만, 오늘날과 같이 제한적 입력장치를 갖는 휴대 단말에 대한 고려가 결여되어 있다. 문제는 DMB 단말들이 제한적 입력을 가질 수밖에 없기 때문에 사용자가 양방향 데이터 콘텐츠를 조작하는 방법이 일관적이지 못하다는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 콘텐츠 제공자와 사용자간의 통일되고 효율적인 콘텐츠 조작을 위해 현재의 BIFS 규격에 KeyNavigator 노드를 추가로 정의하였다. KeyNavigator 노드는 BIFS 콘텐츠에서 휴대 단말의 방향키를 이용하여 BIFS 객체간의 이동이나 BIFS 객체를 선택하는 방법을 제공한다. KeyNavigator 노드를 사용함으로써 BIFS 콘텐츠 제공자는 의도하는 바에 따라 콘텐츠를 저작할 수 있고 휴대 단말 사용자에게도 통일되고 효율적인 BIFS 콘텐츠 제어 방법을 제시하는 우수한 효과가 있다.

This study was designed to develop a website for providing nutrition information and education for college women and young women. The website focuses on two topics ; general nutrition and desirable weight control. This program is located at http : // www.ezydiet.co.kr. This program is composed of 5 major sections. The first two sections were designed to provide information ; one for general nutrition, and the other for providing information regarding weight control. The first section includes information regarding young adult women's diet, nutrition standards, such as the RDA or Korean Food Pyramid, drinking and smoking. The second section coveres information regarding desirable control, foods with high or low calories, eating disorders and popularly used dieting methods. The third section is for simple nutrition assessment, consisting of assessment of ideal body weight and obesity, energy requirements, and eating habits. The fourth section was designed to introduce and help users to apply behavioral modification techniques, such as monitoring, goal setting, stimulus control and reinforcement. The final section was designed for meal planning, by introducing a food exchange list and menu examples for one week. The characteristics of this web-based program are as follows ; 1) provide nutrition information systematically, 2) involve sections for the participation of the user, 3) include food pictures to help understanding of nutrition information, 4) include management modules for some sections to revise or update the information. One-hundred and ten female university students participated in the evaluation of this website. The evaluation results were favorable. About 90% of subjects rated that this program covers major topics 'well ' or 'very well', and that it was 'easy'to 'very easy'to understand the contents on website. Two-thirds of subjects rated quite positively on questions regarding attractiveness, overall quality and technical quality of website. In addition, about three-fourths of subjects answered that this website was helpful in increasing nutrition knowledge and in applying nutrition information into daily life. These results suggested the possibility of using a website as a means of providing nutrition information and education for young adult women.

발전고의 운정을 감시하기 위한 효과적인 수단으로 공정제어 그래픽 시스템이 제안되었다. 이는 분산 컴퓨터 시스템의 한 적용 형태인 공유 메모리를 이용한 다중프로세서 구조를 사용하므로 기능상 확장성이 있고 실시간 프로세서에 적용이 가능하다. 공유 메모리는 프로세스 값과 사용자 명령을 다루는 실시간 데이타 베이스로 사용된다. 본 시스템에 사용되는 데이타 베이스 파일들은 사용자 대화형 화상편집 프로그램에 해 생성되며 간편하고 사용자에 친근한 특성을 갖는다. 본 공정제어 그래픽 시스템은 발전소 보일러의 운전 감시 및 보일러 제어기의 bcak-up제어기능을 갖도록 구현되어, 실제 울산 화력발전소에 적용되었다. 그 결과 운전자 메뉴에 따라 14페이지 의 칼라 그래픽 화면으로 보일러의 운전 데이타를 정확히 디스플레이 하였으며, 아울러 고장 대응 기능도 원활히 수행하였다. 수행하였다.
