  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the measurement data of 13 ~ 18 year old male students and to characterize the body shape of the lower body, Through this, I tried to provide basic data for the production of pants for adolescent men's students. As a result of analyzing the body shape factor of the lower half, two factors were classified. 'Vertical factor' of the lower body composed of the circumference, thickness, and width, and the 'horizontal factor' of the lower body composed of the length and height. The body shape of the lower half was classified into four categories according to the circumference and length of the lower half of the male students, such as 'short bird legs', 'long crane legs', 'short pillar' and 'long pillar'. In the study of Hong Eun-hee (2005), body type was classified according to horizontal factor and vertical factor like this study. By age, boys aged 13 to 14 can see that the lower body is thin and short, the lower body is thin and long body is 15-16 years old, and the lower body is relatively thick and long body is 17-18 years old. As the age increases, the growth in the vertical direction occurs first and the growth in the horizontal direction occurs. It is thought that it is necessary to set a different amount of allowance for setting the length and the circumference according to the age of the youth. When the age is young, the amount of allowance in the circumferential direction should be increased, and the amount of allowance in the longitudinal direction after 15 years of age should be increased more than other age groups.

  • This study attempted to examine the characteristics of fashion cross-border e-commerce(CBEC) by analyzing about 35.7 million cases of customs clearance data received from the Korea Customs Service. The demographic characteristics of consumers and the features of products purchased from 2019 to 2021 were explored. Next, the association rules between products, brands, and websites were analyzed by men and women in their 20s to 50s. The results are as follows. First, women purchased more clothing products than men, and overall, consumers tended to purchase products at low prices every year. Second, the most commonly purchased products were T-shirts, bags, and other shoes. In the list clearance, the purchase frequency of international open markets increased for three years; in general clearance, the proportion of luxury brands was high every year. Finally, in the list clearance, the relationships between bags, other shoes, pants, and overseas open markets were significant, while the relationships between wallets, bags, and luxury brands were significant in general clearance. Based on this study, domestic companies participating in or competing against the CBEC market can develop appropriate strategies for merchandising and sourcing clothing products.

  • In our culture, the term, "be like", is frequently used. There are expressions such as "feminine-looking dress" and "manly style" relating to this term when we describe the styles of clothing. This study addresses the question on which type of garment would be selected under the description of the term, "be-like", in relation to gender. This term reveals the preconception of gender as being feminine or masculine according to the styles and colors of clothes. A group of 362 college students from Seoul and Gyeonggi area was surveyed fur the study The statistical analysis of SPSS 10.0 was applied f3r analyzing the data, and the significant variances were reviewed by the basic statistics, multi-variate and T-test. The results are as follows: First, the details of clothes imply the preconceived idea of gender. As a result, women's blouses and skirts were selected as the most feminine upper and bottom garments. The Y-shirt and T-shirt were selected as the most masculine upper garments. However, in contrast to the . skirts being the most feminine bottom wear, the pants were not significantly recognized as the most masculine ,clothes. Second, the variances of the survey show that the female students are more conscious of the sexual identity expressed in clothes than the male students. Third, the styles of clothes reflect the general understanding of what is considered to be "feminine or not feminine" and "masculine or not masculine" In conclusion, this study has discovered that the certain characteristics of gender are predominantly implicated in the styles length, and color of clothes. Both men and women responded differently in defining their idea of "femininity" and "masculinity". Nevertheless, there still exists strong preconception of what is considered to be feminine or masculine, and it affects the choices people make in selecting clothes.

  • This study analyzes the styles of Baekje costumes by examining costume types and styles based on the research of old books and a comparative study of archaeological and historical Baekje art relics in Central Asia. The results of the study are as follows. 1. Through the comparative study of the records of old books, relic materials (Yangjikgongdo, Mural paintings of Takamatsuzuka Tumulus, Cheonsuguk Mandarasujang, Shosoin relics, and Haniwas), we can see that ancient Japanese costumes were influenced by the culture of Baekje costumes. 2. A comparative study of the records of relic materials of Baekje and Central Asia show that there were vigorous interchanges between the East and West. 3. Baekje costumes showed a great diversity in styles because they were based on Buyeo costumes developed in conjunction with vigorous overseas trade. 4. Baekje's upper garments are summarized as Boksam and Po for men and Yu, Banbi and Euisapo for women. Boksam and Yu styles varied as tunics and overlapped jackets with straight and round collars. Two types of sleeves coexisted. The sleeves of Hansung Baekje period were a diagonal lined style that was wide on the armhole and narrow on the wrist. The sleeves of Sabi Baekje period were a reversed diagonal lined style that is narrow on the armhole and wide on the wrist. Pants styles were summarized as Gon, Gunggo and Daegugo. There were not enough relics and references for the Baekje costumes; however, this study widens the possibility of the existence of various styles of Baekje costumes through inferences from available data.
