중국산 Meganola 속의 미기록 3종 관한 보고 (Three Species of the Genus Meganola Dyar, 1898 (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae, Nolinae) New to China)

  • Meganola속 3종 M. bryophilalis (Staudinger, 1887), M. costalis (Staudinger, 1887)와 M. strigulosa (Staudinger, 1887)을 중국에서는 처음으로 보고된다. 성충의 외부특징에 대하여 간략하게 재기재하고, 암수생식기의 도해도, 기주식물 및 분포정보를 제시하였다.

  • Biological control of turfgrass insect pest Blitopertha orientalis, forest insect pests, Agelastica coerulea, Meganola melancholia, and Glyphodes perspectalis,vegetable insect pests, Plutella xylostella and Agrotis segetum were conducted with entonopathogenic fungus, Metarhizium anisopliae J-22 isolated from black pine forest soil in Cheju province. Mortality of B. orientalis larvae was 53.3% at the rate of 3.4 $\times$ 1O 7 conidia /ml. A. coerulea and M melancholia larvae showed 100% mortalities at 9.6 $\times$ 106 conidia /ml and 2.7 $\times$ 10 7 conidia /ml as well. However, G. perspectalis larvae were not dead even at 4$\times$ 1O 7 conidia /ml. On the other hand, M anisopliae J-22 was effective against P. xylostella larvae showing 100% mortality at 4 $\times$ 10 7 conidia /ml. 수종의 농림해충에 대한 Beauveria bassiana GY1-17 균주의 병원성 (Pathogenicities of Beauveria bassiana GY1-17 against Some Agro-forest Insect Pests)

  • 남부지방에서 분리한 곤충병원성곰팡이 Beauveria bassiana GY1-17균주를 이용하여 산림해충인 오리나무잎벌레(Agelastica coerulea), 밤나무혹나방(Meganola melancholica), 회양목명나방(Glyphodes perspectalis), 잔디해충인 등얼룩풍뎅이(Blitopertha orientalis), 채소해충인 배추좀나방(Plutella xylostella) 및 거세미나방(Agrotis segetum)의 생물적 방제 가능성을 알아보기 위하여 실험한 결과, 오리나무잎벌레와 배추좀나방유충은 7.0~2.0$\times$${10}^{7}$ conidia/ml 농도에서 처리 7일과 5일후 100%의 치사율을 나타내었다. 밤나무혹나방유충은 0.03875~3.1$\times$${10}^{7}$ conidia/ml 처리에서 66.7~100%의 높은 치사율을 보였으나 회양목명나방유충은 2.0$\times$${10}^{7}$~2.0$\times$$10^4$conidia/ml 처리에서도 전혀 치사되지 않았다. 등얼룩풍뎅이유충은 3.7$\times$${10}^{7}$ conidia/ml 농도에서 46.7%의 치사율을 보였고, 거세미나방유충은 2.5$\times$${10}^{7}$ conidia/ml 농도에서 63.3% 치사율을 나타내었다.

진도의 나비목 곤충상 (A Faunistic Study of Lepidoptera (Insecta) in Is. Jin-do, Korea)

  • Based on our insect collecting trip to the Is. Jin-do, Jeollanam-do Province from June 29 to July 1, 2005, a total of 573 lepidopterous species belonging to 37 families are reported, with adding 122 species new to the locality During our survey, the most dominant species was Cryptolechia malacobyrsa Meyrick (Oecophoridae), followed by Sandrabatis crassiella Ragonot (Pyralidae) and Yponomeuta tokyonellus Matsumura(Yponomeutidae), and the family Noctuidae (165 spp.) was the most diverse taxon in species number. We here also discuss the species representing the climatic feature in the island and compare the species diversity with those of other two major islands in Korea, Is. Geoje-do and Is. Jeju-do. Among the species recognized in this study, two species, Epilepia dentata (Matsumura and Shibata) and Meganola costalis (Staudinger) are recorded in Korea for the first time, in spite of the presence of previous notes on the species which is invalid. The adults and genitalia of the two species are illustrated and described briefly.
