A study on the Enhancement of Transshipment Competitiveness of Busan Port by Analyzing Factors Affecting Transshipment Competitiveness

  • It is understood that carriers evaluate several features of ports when fixing the T/S port. Those features can be enumerated as Geographic condition of port, Service network with overseas ports, Level of port productivity, Port infrastructure, Port services level, Port Authority's Policy direction mand Cost competitiveness. The objectives of this study are to: 1) determine if those factors could affect the T/S competitiveness of the port; and 2) to evaluate how Busan port conforms to those determinants factors in such extent. According to results of the analysis after surveying National global carrier, Intra-Asia carriers, Global overseas carriers, Terminal operators, and Busan Port Authority known to be highly influential samples, all factors were proven to be factors affecting the T/S competitiveness of the port. Meanwhile, in the analysis through AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) methodology about the order of weight among those factors, Cost competitiveness was answered as the most important factor. On the other hand, in the analysis to find the situation if Busan port conforms to those factors, Busan port was proven to satisfy those conditions to a moderate extent. In the analysis about the order of strength among those factors, Busan port was answered to have the highest strength in the geographic condition. However, it showed the bottom level of strength in the Cost competitiveness which was answered as the most important factor among samples for determining the T/S competitiveness of the port. This indicates that Government and Port Authority of Busan have to concentrate policy capabilities on the improvement of cost competitiveness of Busan port to enhance the T/S competitiveness. In this paper, four policy recommendations are given : Integration of Busan port operation into New port, Combining multiple operators into one or a few, Attracting Global mega carriers as the New port terminal operators, and Continuous Infrastructure expansion.

한국 자동차의 대중국 수출경쟁력에 관한 연구 - RCA, CAC, ESI 지수 비교를 중심으로 (An Empirical Study on the Export Competitiveness of Korean Automobiles in the Local Chinese Market)

  • 본고에서는 RCA지수, CAC지수, ESI를 이용하여 지난 2000년 이래 7년간 세계자동차시장 점유율 상위 6개국을 대상으로 중국시장에서의 자동차 수출경쟁력을 비교 분석하였다. RCA지수를 분석한 결과, 한국자동차의 국제시장에서의 경쟁력은 일본, 독일에 이어 높은 것으로 나타났으나 중국자동차시장에서는 수출경합국 중 최하위의 국제경쟁력을 가진 것으로 조사되었다. 국제시장에서 한국자동차의 RCA지수가 7년 평균 1.867인데 비해 중국시장에서의 CAC지수는 1.053에 불과하였다. 그러나 한국자동차는 프랑스시장에서 CAC지수 3.338, 미국시장에서 2.454, 독일시장에서 2.143, 일본시장에서 0.067을 기록함으로써, 프랑스, 미국, 독일시장에서 선전하고 있는 반면, 일본시장과 중국시장에서의 국제경쟁력은 매우 취약한 상태임을 확인할 수 있었다. 한편 세계자동차시장에서 한국자동차와 수출경합도가 가장 높은 국가는 독일과 일본으로 관측되었고, 중국시장의 경우 한국-독일, 한국-일본 수출경합도가 세계시장의 ESI보다는 미약하게 형성되어 있었다. 따라서 우리는 세계 및 중국자동차시장의 동향과 중국당국의 정책변화를 면밀하게 모니터링하고 업계와 정부간의 신속하고 유기적인 공조체제를 구축함으로써 중국시장의 경쟁체제 변화에 능동적으로 대응하는 전략을 강구해야 할 것으로 보인다.

완벽주의 지수 PI의 개량을 통한 유력 학술지와 대량생산 학술지의 구분 (Improving the Perfectionism Index to Identify Influential Journals versus Mass Producers)

  • 최근 제안된 완벽주의 지수 PI는 연구자를 유력자와 대량생산자로 구분하는 지표이다. 이 연구에서는 PI를 개량한 새로운 지표인 준완벽주의 지수 NPI를 제안하였다. NPI는 특히 발행시기 등을 고려하지 않고 저인용논문에 무조건 획일적인 기준으로 패널티를 부과하던 PI의 방식을 개선하는 보완 지수이다. NPI에서는 꼬리 보상 영역에 인용빈도 곡선을 고려하면서 패널티를 부과함으로써, h-지수의 향상이 오히려 영향력 지표에 불리하게 작용하는 것을 방지한다. 이렇게 개발된 NPI를 Web of Science 문헌정보학 관련 분야 학술지에 시험 적용해본 결과 h-지수와 평균 인용횟수로는 불가능했던, 유력 학술지와 대량생산 학술지의 구분을 성공적으로 수행할 수 있었다.

Cryptotia recurrence lowering technique with additional acellular dermal matrix graft

  • Background: Cryptotia is a congenital anomaly in which the upper part of the retroauricular sulcus is absent and buried underneath the temporal skin. Various surgical techniques have been reported for the correction of cryptotia following Kubo's V-Y plasty in 1933. Conventional methods using a local skin flap, skin grafting, tissue expansion, Z-plasty, and any of these combined approaches can result in skin deficiency of the upper auricle. The aim of this study was to develop a new method that improves cosmetic results and has fewer complications. Methods: This study involved four patients in whom five cryptotia deformities were corrected using V-Y plasty and Z-plasty. After elevation of the flap, acellular dermal matrix (ADM; MegaDerm) that was over 5 mm in thickness was applied to the cephalo-auricular angle and positioned to enhance the projection of the ear. Lastly, the flap was transposed to complete the repair. Results: Between January 2014 and February 2018, cryptotia correction with ADM graft was performed in four patients. None of the patients developed a recurrence of cryptotia, and there were no postoperative complications such as wound infection, seroma formation, and dehiscence. In addition, the procedures resulted in a favorable cosmetic appearance. Conclusion: Based on these findings, i.e., no recurrence and a favorable cosmetic result, when using an ADM graft, it is suggested that this technique could be an alternative method of cryptotia correction. It could also lessen donor-site morbidity when compared to autologous cartilage grafting and be more cost-effective than using cartilage from a cadaver.

인수합병(M&A) 이후 HR 활용: D사의 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on between Human Resource Management and Merger and Acquisition: The case of D company)

  • A company have to grow constantly. If a company does not grow and stagnant, it will be finally out of the market. The contemporary companies fully make use of M&A to search for new growth engines. The reason of companies using M&A as a important tool of a business strategy is the fastest way to achieve technology power, market power, competitiveness. The form of M&A was that leading companies take over smaller companies or merger and acquisition between small companies in the middle of 2000. But now, Mega mergers between industry leading companies often occur and especially domestic of course M&A of foreign companies occurs actively. These days the boom of stock market and the big companies are pouring on sale by restructuring, privatization and the basis of low interest will make the M&A market continuously. In this study, I suggest a solution of actual human resources management by analyzing proven M&A cases and search for various problems of a gap in the leadership and communication in connection with integration of organization culture after M&A. First of all, I arrange the theoretical concept of the subject and analyze the key factors of the success M&A cases, lastly I suggested a HR strategy after M&A. After M&A, HR strategy is ; First, a company have to build a organization culture which is that merger company accommodate a excellent organizational characteristic of predecessor company with consideration of culture difference. Second, M&A must proceed to remove of anxiety about the future and employment stability by excellent leaderships. Third, organization integration after M&A is influenced by the level of integration for that reason it was verified that M&A have to make progress by communication of each 2 organizations.

해외 원격개방대학의 질 관리 사례 연구 (A Case Study of Quality Assurance in Overseas pen University: UKOU, UT)

  • 본 연구에서는 해외 원격개방대학 질 관리 사례 가운데 선도적인 것으로 알려진 영국 개방대학교와 인도네시아 터부카 대학교의 사례를 검토하여 우리나라 원격대학 질 관리 체제 구축에의 시사점을 찾아보았다. 영국 개방대학교와 터부카 대학교는 모두 재학생이 10만명 이상인 메가 유니버시티로서 효율적인 질 관리를 위해 중앙집권적인 질 관리 체제를 구축하고 질 관리를 담당하는 전담부서를 설치하고 있다. 또한 대학 구성원들이 질 관리 중요성에 대한 인식을 공유하고 직원들의 업무에 대한 평가 및 모니터링을 강화하여 지속적인 개선을 추구하는 질 관리 문화가 정착되어 있다. 교육의 질 관리는 그 성과가 가시적으로 확인되는 것도, 특정한 대가가 주어지는 것도 아니기 때문에 장시간에 걸쳐서 신중하게 계획 검토되면서 통합적으로 진행될 필요가 있다.

대형 국책사업의 프로그램 정의단계 핵심성공요인 도출 - 용산공원 조성사업을 중심으로 - (Critical Success Factors for the Definition Phase of a Construction Program - Focused on the Yongsan Park Development Program -)

  • 본 연구는 대형 국책사업의 성공요인을 도출하기 위해 용산국가공원 조성사업에 참여하고 있는 전문가를 대상으로 설문을 조사하여 프로그램 정의단계 핵심성공요인을 분석하였다. 정의단계 용산공원 조성사업의 참여하고 있는 전문가를 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 각각의 범주에 대해 AHP분석을 수행하여 상대적 중요도를 파악하였다. 대형 국책사업 프로그램 정의단계 중요한 범주는 프로그램 전략, 프로세스, 사람들로 분류되었으며 범주간 중요도는 사람들, 전략, 프로세스 순으로 나타났다. 또한, 프로그램 정의단계 27개 핵심성공요인들 중에서 프로그램관리자의 역량과 리더십, 환경 및 문화재 조사 기획, 프로그램 관리 계획 준비, 운영 및 유지 철학, 통합된 프로그램 사무소 등이 우선순위가 높게 나타났다. 따라서 용산공원 조성사업을 추진함에 있어서 본 연구에서 제시한 프로그램 정의단계 중요도가 높은 핵심성공요인에 대한 선택과 집중 전략을 제안한다.

  • 최근 초고층 아파트 및 주상복합 건축물의 증가로 두께 3m이상의 메가급 매스콘크리트 부재의 설계가 다수 수행되고 있다. 초고층 주상복합 건축물은 기초부재 뿐만 아니라 특수한 구조형태로 전이 보 및 슬라브 등과 같은 매스콘크리트 시공이 증가하고 있어 매스콘크리트의 온도균열저감에 관한 연구가 수행되고 있다. 매스콘크리트의 온도균열을 검토하기 위해서는 콘크리트 열특성 검토가 중요하나 현장에서 단열온도상승 시험기를 활용하기는 어렵기 때문에 간이-단열온도상승시험을 주로 활용한다. 본 연구에서는 간이-단열온도상승시험에 의한 콘크리트 열특성 결과의 정밀도를 향상시키기 위해 열손실을 보정하기 위한 방안과 열손실 보정에 미치는 다양한 요인을 검토하여 제시하였다.

A study on the Improvement of Electromyography of Agricultural Work Chairs for the Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders

  • Squatting of agricultural work can cause musculoskeletal disorders due to excessive pressure and rotational force on the knee joint In order to improve the assistive chair used in squatting agricultural work so that it can be used in a narrow groove, it is intended to improve the musculoskeletal harm of squatting work by attaching a spring on the assistive chair. Therefore, in the presenty study, 3D drawing was done using ProEngineer (3D), and a mock-up was produced and tested. Using pro-Engineer, it was judged that it was rare for plastic to be broken by a spring, so the analysis was conducted with a focus on springs. It was found that the structure that can absorb the shock according to the rigidity of the tape spring and balance the body is that the power to withstand the load of the weight is distributed as a whole when five springs are used. Electromyography was measured using ME600 (Mega Electronics, Finland) Measuring equipment attached to the waist, thighs, calves, and shins. EMG values were measured and compared with the prototype in two ways, when the worker did not wear the product and when he wore an existing product on the market. As a result of the experiment when using the prototype, the maximum EMG value for each part is considered to be helpful in preventing musculoskeletal diseases as the amount of muscle used is reduced in the waist, thighs, calves, and shins.

Spatial Estimation of soil roughness and moisture from Sentinel-1 backscatter over Yanco sites: Artificial Neural Network, and Fractal

  • European Space Agency's Sentinel-1 has an improved spatial and temporal resolution, as compared to previous satellite data such as Envisat Advanced SAR (ASAR) or Advanced Scatterometer (ASCAT). Thus, the assumption used for low-resolution retrieval algorithms used by ENVISAT ASAR or ASCAT is not applicable to Sentinel-1, because a higher degree of land surface heterogeneity should be considered for retrieval. The assumption of homogeneity over land surface is not valid any more. In this study, considering that soil roughness is one of the key parameters sensitive to soil moisture retrievals, various approaches are discussed. First, soil roughness is spatially inverted from Sentinel-1 backscattering over Yanco sites in Australia. Based upon this, Artificial Neural Networks data (feedforward multiplayer perception, MLP, Levenberg-Marquadt algorithm) are compared with Fractal approach (brownian fractal, Hurst exponent of 0.5). When using ANNs, training data are achieved from theoretical forward scattering models, Integral Equation Model (IEM). and Sentinel-1 measurements. The network is trained by 20 neurons and one hidden layer, and one input layer. On the other hand, fractal surface roughness is generated by fitting 1D power spectrum model with roughness spectra. Fractal roughness profile is produced by a stochastic process describing probability between two points, and Hurst exponent, as well as rms heights (a standard deviation of surface height). Main interest of this study is to estimate a spatial variability of roughness without the need of local measurements. This non-local approach is significant, because we operationally have to be independent from local stations, due to its few spatial coverage at the global level. More fundamentally, SAR roughness is much different from local measurements, Remote sensing data are influenced by incidence angle, large scale topography, or a mixing regime of sensors, although probe deployed in the field indicate point data. Finally, demerit and merit of these approaches will be discussed.
