The purpose of this study is to analyze efforts of the mesa trends on the modern fashion design. For the study documentary research and qualitative content analysis have been carried out. Articles in magazines, seminar reports, and news related to trends were collected and analyzed to develop mega trends nowadays. As results, $2002{\sim}2006$ mega trends were extracted to Co-divergence, Emotional tech, Bi-dentity, Private+One and $2002{\sim}2006$ design trends extracted to Camouflage, Transformation, Modular system, Blur, Ease. The influences of mega trends and design trends on the modern fashion design have been proved. Those were expressed as eclectic style, deconstructionist style, reductive style and functionalist style in fashion design. The present era could be defined as cultural pluralism blended with various cultures and styles. Fashion as the essential display of contemporary culture and society has been successfully confirmed in this study.

This paper aims to understand and analyze the mega-trends such as trends towards larger vessels due to an increasing trade volume, accordingly fewer port calls, strategic alliances and M&A Increasing degree of concentration through M&A activities in shipping industry results in a decreasing number of shipping finns with an increasing share in the world shipping capacity. But competition is strongly increasing on main trunk routes. Therefore, shipping concentration directly leads to further concentration of port traffic in fewer and larger ports with an increasing competition among neighboring ports.

Development of technology in the $20^{th}$ century has made great contributions to women's lives. With the development of digital convergence, home network, and DMBs (Distance Method Bracings), the ubiquitous technology information era is expected to create a new progressive era for women. The purpose of this study is to investigate the lifestyle that Korean women would like to pursue, especially in regards to the sense of value within the personal and social life of each individual. As a method to suggest how the socio-cultural trends of women's lifestyle will change in the ubiquitous era, qualitative interviews have been conducted over 6 groups with 77 persons between the digital ages of 20s and 30s, living in Seoul. The majority had positive opinions regarding the economic, cultural, emotional, and physical prospects of the ubiquitous information environment. Results show high expectations evolved around freedom from household chores, the equality between the sexes (at home and in society), enhancing the working environment at home, an expansion of human relationships leading to creative knowledge, being able to maintain a single life without economic constraints, and the enjoyment that the internet provides. for suggestions to improve the quality of women's lifestyle through ubiquitous technology, issues such as individual based customization, time management, creating emotional hyperspaces, multi-media communication systems, and women as leaders were studied.

Purpose: Recent trends have shown that the usage of big data analysis is becoming the core of identifying promising future technologies and emerging technologies. Accordingly, applying these trends by analyzing defense related data in such sources as journals, articles, and news will provide crucial clues in predicting and identifying core future technologies that can be used to develop creative and unprecedented future weapon systems that could change the warfare. Methods: To identify technology fields that are closely related to the 4th industrial revolution and recent technology development trends, environmental analysis, text mining, and military applicability survey have been included in the process. After the identification of core technologies that are militarily applicable, future weapon systems based on these technologies as well as their operation concepts are suggested. Results: Through the study, 73 important trends, from which 11 mega trends are derived, are identified. These mega trends can be expressed by 13 promising technology fields. From these technology fields, 248 promising future technologies are identified. Afterwards, further assessment is performed, which leads to the selection of 63 core technologies from the pool. These are named as "future defense technologies" which then become the bases for 40 future weapons systems that the military can use. Conclusion: Predicting future technologies using text mining analysis have been attempted by various organizations across the globe, especially in the fields related to the 4th industrial revolution. However, the application of it in the field of defense industry is unprecedented. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it not only enables the military personnel to see promising future technologies that can be utilized for future weapon system development, but helps one to predict the future defense technologies using the method introduced in the paper.

In this study, we analyzed future emerging technologies from the perspective of convergence research and arranged them into mega-trends, trends, and issues, to carry out predictions of the future environment and search for technologies that are expected to be closely related to human life, and ultimately to achieve convergence research agenda that can predict various social problems. First, we investigated and analyzed the literature mentioned about various promising technologies and analyzed them to analyze key words and summarize the most frequently used core key words to infer trends. Then, an agenda was drawn that emphasized connectivity with the humanities-based convergence research by stratifying and organizing the inferred trends and classifying them as core and derived trends. The necessity, innovation, convergence, feasibility, future-oriented, and acceptability of these derived agendas were investigated through a survey. The analysis showed that researchers conducting convergence research showed a high interest in agenda items that deal closely with daily life with feasible technologies in the near future, while they showed a rather low interest in issues such as technology that can be realized in the distant future, terrorism or international conflicts.

The aim of this research is to find out the flows of mega-trends and design trends by analyzing the factors that influence trend and design trends in the late 20th century. Moreover, it is to forecast and recommend design color trends by evaluating color trends in design trends for the near future. Secondary and primary research were used in parallel. In the late 20th century, mega-trends were analyzed from secondary research based on PEST. Design trends were analyzed from case studies in fashion, space, product and visual design. On this basis, design color trends were analyzed. Also, color trends were forecast for the near future. The results are as follows. Firstly, the main trends in the late 20th century were 'female thinking', 'back to the nature' and 'heaven of peace'. Second, main design trends in the 1970s were modernism, post-modernism and high-tech. In the 1980s, with those of the 1970s, ecology was introduced In the late 1980s. In the 1990s, modernism rose again and ecology had an influence. The trends of 'female thinking' and 'back to the nature' controled the design in the early 2000s. Third, design colors in the late 20th century changed from Red to Purple Blue. Tones changed from 'grayish' to 'dull' Finally, it was forecast that Purple Blue, Yellow Red and Green colors with 'grayish', 'dull' and 'deep' tones were going to be used mainly in the near future. Also, achromatic colors with female and warm nuances would be reflected in design parts. This research will be very useful in that it has built a concrete database reflected on design trends forecasting in the near future by organizing academically a methodology to identify trends reflected on design and identifying relation between mega-trends and design trends based on analyzing factors that influence trend.

As container traffic in the world increases rapidly, size if containership is become bigger and bigger. With these trends, many studies have. been done on such big ships by consultant, naval architects, port designers, ship operators, economists etc,. with different points of view and results. But previous studies were concentrated on hardware and theoretical side. Therefore the objective of this paper is to analyze response and intention of ship's user such as shipping companies and forwarding companies about prospects of mega-ship size, preference of Mega ship, problem and handling time of Mega ship.

This paper presents the mega trends of technology and competitiveness analysis results based on patent analysis for establishing effective research and development (R&D) strategy on UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) in the aerial ICT industry. In order to analyze mega trends of UAV technologies, patent analysis is conducted focusing on published/registered patents of Korea, the U.S., Japan, and Europe. We divided the target technologies into 3 main category levels based on the converging technology of UAV and ICT. The 3,433 patents are collected. Patent indicators such as patent activity (PA), cites per patent (CPP), and major market expansion (MME) are extracted for grasping the technology competitiveness and Korea's competitiveness per sub category levels of UAV. We suggest the R&D strategy of each technology areas based on patent analysis results. We analyzed Korea's technology levels, advanced companies' R&D trends, and patent trends through patent information and expected that this paper would be utilized for establishment of R&D strategy of UAV in the future.

현재 대부분의 국내외 종합통신사업자들은 외부적인 통신산업의 경쟁 격화 및 새로운산업 트렌드 변화로 인해 매출과 영업이익이 정체되는 위기상황에 처해 있으며, 이를 타개하기 위해 미래 통신산업의 mega trend에 대응하여 사업구조를 재편하고 신규 수익모델을 창출하는 등 사업포트폴리오를 변화시키고 있다. 국내외 수많은 종합통신사업자들 중에서 일부는 미래 통신산업 mega trend 변화에 적극적으로 대응하여 다양한 전략적 옵션들을 취함으로써 성공적으로 변모해가고 있는 반면, 다른 일부는 소극적으로 대처하거나 또는 아무런 인식이 없이 본업에만 안주하여 스스로 위기를 자초하고 있는 듯 하다. 이에 본 고에서는 새로운 패러다임 변화에 적극적으로 대처하고 있는BT와 NTT 그룹의 사업포트폴리오 변화 사례 분석을 통해 국내 종합통신사업자에게 미래 서비스 사업구조 개선 방향에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다.
