Purpose - This research is to review the state of standard labeling compliance and identify the factors that are conducive to compliance with the Labeling Standards of the Health Functional Foods Act in internet distribution. Research design, data, and methodology - We checked 9 labels including product name, expiration date, manufacturing date, raw material, ingredient, operative dose, nutritional information, daily intake, and functional effect which are based on Labeling Standards of the Act from 100 health functional foods in the internet shopping malls. These 9 structure & function claims were compared using a Chi-square test. Results - There was a statistically significant difference in the use of standard labeling between domestic product and imported products (p<.001). The related strength between these two variables showed a moderate effect size. Also, there was a statistically significant difference between accredited advertising/unaccredited advertising distinction and use of standard labeling (p<.001). The related strength between these two variables showed a moderate effect size. Conclusions - The Labeling Standards of the Act were not followed and found to be related to imports or unauthorized advertising in internet distribution. The information displayed according to the Labeling Standards was only about 2 on the average, so many labels have been posted unreadably without arrangement.

The health and medical service attracts more public attention as the economy of Korea is rapidly growing up and the standard of living is elevated. Especially, the interest and demand on the prehospital emergency medical service that consists of the important part of primary medical service that is directly related to the life of patients are gradually increased. However, as compared with other advanced countries such as America in this area, Korea actually fell behind in the utilization of IT (Information Technology) to maximize the efficiency of emergency service system as well as has a problem in the general service system. This study suggested the necessity to introduce EMD (Emergency Medical Dispatch) system that takes a great role as the core part in the prehospital emergency medical service that is not systemized in Korea yet. In addition, this study proposed the implementation model of EMD ASP system using ASP (Application Service Provider) in EMD system to flexibly deal with the change of IT and efficient implementation and integration of information system as well as to significantly reduce cost through wire/wireless high speed Internet network that is politically promoted in Korea on the basis of EMD. The system analysis and design was executed by HIPO (Hierarchy Plus Input Process Output) analysis that was the conceptual design technology for EMD information system modeling based on ASP and DFD (Data Flow Diagram). This study proposed DB table configuration and data schema to implement the application of web browser interface in EMD system through ERD(ER-Diagram) of EMD ASP system. Finally, this study described how to implement and utilize EMD information system. This study aims to facilitate the qualitative development of emergency medical service in the future as suggesting the concrete models for the implementation of high value-added prehospital emergency medical information system as applying ASP concept to EMD system of prehospital emergency medical service area.

With the rapid advance of information technology and the popularity of digital medical, medical information are growing, the process of hospital digitalization are gradually quicken and systems involved are more and more. HIS system mainly deals with patient information, it follows the standard of HL7. While PACS system mainly manages image information, it follows the standard of DICOM. Because HIS and PACS deal with different information and follow different standards, it is difficult to directly communicate. This paper presents a method of establishing HL7/DICOM gateway to realize the information exchange of HIS and PACS. The HL7/DICOM gateway designed in this paper is made up of three modules. First, HL7 messages and triggered events are designed to achieve the function of transaction processing module. According to the designed HL7 messages, four message interface functions are defined to accomplish the function of send/receive messages module. Finally, the algorithm of construct/parse messages is given to complete the function of construct/parse messages module. Result shows that HIS and PACS realize information exchange successfully by using the HL7/DICOM gateway Implemented in this paper.

이력추적관리시스템은 상품의 생산과 유통의 모든 단계에서 추적 조사 기록이 가능한 시스템을 의미한다. 국내에서는 건강과 직접적으로 관련이 있는 식품의 이력추적에 대한 관심이 높다. 본 연구에서는 전통의학분야에서 사용되어지는 한약재를 대상으로 RFID 기술을 적용하여 이력추적관리 프로세스를 제안한다. 세계적인 표준으로 채택되고 있는 RFID 코드체계 구성과 한약재의 이력관리 프로세스, 현재 진행되고 있는 한약재 이력관리시스템을 분석하였다. 우선적으로 RFID 기술에 적합한 새로운 한약재 이력추적관리 프로세스를 설계하였으며, 이 프로세스에 적합하도록 ISO 표준과 국내의 농수산물 표준코드를 활용하여 한약재 이력정보 추적을 위한 RFID 코드체계를 제안한다. 코드체계 설계는 한약재의 추적에 있어 식별자로서의 역할을 담당하기에 가장 중요한 요소이다. 제안된 코드체계는 96비트 길이 내에서 국가구분, 관리기관, 구분자, 식별번호, 일련번호로 구성되어 있다. 마지막으로 이력추적시스템 내에서 코드발급프로세스를 정의하였다.

정보통신기술과 의료기술의 발전으로 국민들의 삶의 질이 향상되면서 인터넷 환경에서의 의료서비스에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 이러한 인터넷 환경에서의 의료정보화는 환자의 개인정보를 침해할 수 있다. 우리나라의 상당수 의료기관은 인터넷 환경에서의 환자개인정보보호에 소극적이다. 의료정보의 유출을 방지하기 위한 법령과 표준안 및 체계적인 지침이 개발되어 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷 환경에서의 환자 개인정보 침해유형을 사례를 통해 살펴보고, 법제도적 측면 기술적 측면 관리적 측면에서 인터넷 환경에서의 환자 개인정보를 보호할 수 있는 방안을 모색해 보고자 한다.

Recently medical consumers pursue high leveled quality of life through active promotion, prevention, management activity of health as the importance of health during home life is emerged to meet the aging society and chronic diseases. In addition, people are directed to the m-Health for managing yourself their health by using smartphone and various personal health devices, if necessary transmits health data to the physician himself. In the previous studies, m-Health Application were developed and applied in the real clinical environment by adopting the medical information standards was rarely conducted. Therefore, in this study, the m-Health application platform was developed. Developed application was communicate with IEEE 11073 standard protocol using the Bluetooth Health Device Profile in personal health device via smart phone to process blood pressure information, and it converted to HL7 V2.6 ORU_R01 message for send to remote medical server. In addition, we tested the interoperability and safety of the developed application for 23 inpatient and 17 outpatient at D University Hospital. As a result, the blood pressure information has been transmitted without error.

Information Technology has extended its scope to the medical field as well as dental field. Like medical field, network ststem for dental field requires acquisition, storage, and display of images. However, unlike the medical field, the system to integrate several information including medical images has not been developed according to industrial standard for management of digital image for medical use, so called DICOM conformance. which makes the digital environment in dental field more and more difficult and expensive for this standardization and comfortable communication in LAN and WAN. To solve this problem, the DICOM encoder and server has to be developed because the DICOM file can be easily retrieved with patient's information from the DICOM server in the system as DICOM file has the standard specification to integrate the patient's information. The information including image and other discrete data can be easily integrated in DICOM file and can be used without any difficulty for precise diagnosis and for contribution to the decision making for each treatment protocol. Therefore, the system composed of DICOM encoder and server in dental practive for DICOM file must be developed with prudent consideration of the several strategic factors: I) Enhanced diagnostic capability through the integrated information of image and clinical data. ii) Clinician-friendly interface to simulate the systemic treatment procedure in clinical practice iii) Implementation of multidisciplinary treatment protocol The development of DICOM encoder and server based on these strategic considerations will provide paperless and filmless hospital environments by the seamless integration and management of patient's history, several clinical data and clinical images through image processing for quantitative analysis. The system also allows clinicians to provide more predictable dental care for the patients.

Purpose : To evaluate the emergency medical protocols and assessments through the case reports. Method : We studied retrospectively investigates the emergency calls through the 1339 emergency patients information center in 1997. Results : The emergency calls show an order : abdominal pain(13.5%), unconsciousness(12.0%), traffic accidents(7.4%), bleeding(6.6%), respiration difficulty(5.9%) by emergency medical protocols, and injury and poisoning(22.3%), symptom (51.6%), others (26.1%). Conclusion : The results suggest that a specific training program for emergency medical dispatchers should be established, and emergency medical dispatcher managers must review emergency medical dispatching cases on the basis of emergency medical protocols every year. Emergency medical services, furthermore, will continue to raise the standard for emergency medical dispatching.

This study attempted to identify the service satisfaction with the 119 emergency service and the factors that affect it based on the responses of subjects who used the service. Data collection was conducted from February 11 to March 11, 2021, using convenience sampling. A total of 1842 subjects who used emergency medical services using 119 ambulance in 2020 participated. For the collected data, frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation were calculated, and t-test, analysis of variance, and multiple regression analysis were performed using SPSS 23.0. Based on these results, to further enhance the satisfaction of users of the 119 emergency service and the quality of emergency medical services, it is important to improve the quality of paramedics through education and systems. In addition, to increase user satisfaction, efficient and systematic communication education is required. The quality of emergency medical services will increase only when communication skills required for explanations and promoting understanding are improved.

의료정보서비스로 인해 병원에서의 디지털화는 환자관리에 빠른 발전이 있었다. 여기에 더하여 병원 어디에서나 언제든지 의료정보서비스를 제공하려는 노력을 하고 있다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 주요 요구사항은 DICOM 표준을 이용한 영상 뷰어시스템과 의료정보서비스를 지원하는 서버시스템 간에 통신할 수 있는 기능이다. 본 논문은 의료정보서비스를 제공하기 위해 RFID 기술을 이용한 이동 단말기 기반의 원격 네트워킹 시스템을 기술한다. 전반적인 구성을 적용하기 위해 본 논문은 우선 DICOM 뷰어 시스템을 개발하였고, 환자 정보를 저장하기위한 데이타베이스를 구성하였으며 모바일 터미널 환경에서 서버/클라이언트 네트워킹 시스템을 구현하였다. 특히, 본 논문은 문자 기반 통신은 물론 의료영상 기반 통신의 가능성을 보여주었다.
