The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of CPR skills and the satisfaction of CPR Training targeted for college students. Also, this study made comparative study of nursing students and non-nursing students. The sample consisted of 248 students(132 nursing students, 116 non-nursing students). CPR Training was designed by two components which were a lecture and demonstration by one professor and individual practice by instructors. As tool of measurement estimation satisfaction of CPR Training questionnaires were developed based on educated contents. The accuracy of CPR skills were checked by SkillReporter CPR training manikin. Collected data were computerized and analyzed by SPSS-WIN program. The results were as follows : 1. The skills of CPR were cardiac compression 92.79 times/min, correct cardiac compression rate 90.85%, ventilation 9.93 times/min, correct ventilation rate 79.34%. 2. The mean of the accuracy of CPR skills were 2.94(SD .87). 3. When errors were analyzed, the highest item was stomach distension(51.2%) of ventilation skills and too little(70.6%) of cardiac compression skills. 4. The mean of the satisfaction of CPR training were 2.87(SD .17), the highest item of the satisfaction of CPR Training was practice. 5. We found significant statistical differences based on the accuracy and the error, non-nursing students were high in correct cardiac compression per minute(t=3.615, p=.000) and ventilation too much(t=4.292, p=.000), nursing students were high in correct ventilation rate(t=-3.885, p=.000) and cardiac compression too shallow) t=-2.842, p=.005).

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide basic data which is necessary for educating nursing and medical students for establishing a desirable sense of ethics values Method: In this descriptive research, a total of 140 nursing students and 124 medical students were selected. The tools used for data analysis were descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe test by using SPSS/WIN 12.0 version. Result: When the differences in the consciousness of biomedical ethics of nursing and medical students were compared, statistically significant differences were found in the category of brain death (t=-3.26, p=.001). Statistically significant differences were found in the general characteristics of religion (F=3.05, p=.018), and participation in religious activity (F=3.34, p=.006). Statistically significant differences were found in the characteristics related to the subjects' ethical values such as satisfaction level of a nurse/doctor (F=7.39, p=.000) occupation, the experience of A Patient's Bill of Rights (F=2.97, p=.020), the intention to attend biomedical ethics (F=5.61, p=.000), and the possibility of increasing ethical problems according to the development in the field of medical science (F=7.92, p=.000). Conclusion: An effort should be made to overcome the differences in the perception of biomedical ethics between nursing students and medical students. Moreover, when investigating the course of an integrated education for the establishment of a desirable sense of biomedical ethics, an alternative plan that could promote ethical values must be considered so that the significant variables can promote bioethical perception.
The purpose of this study was to survey the general characteristics, lifestyle include health habits, subjective health problems include physical, psychological and overall health complaints that occurring among Korean and Japanese nursing students. Data collected with the self-administered Okayama Medical Index Health Questionnaire(devised Cornell Medical Index) from 466 Korean and 688 Japanese Nursing Students were analyzed. The subjects were 18 to 24 years old in their 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year-class of nursing department. The total O.M.I. score(section A-R) ranged from 1 to 110 with an average of 22.3(SD=11.5) in Korean nursing students and 18.3(SD=10.1) in Japanese nursing students. A statistically significant inverse correlation was observed between Korean nursing student and Japanese nursing students for the overall health complaints. Korean nursing students have more health problems than Japanese nursing students in terms of physical and overall health complaints excluding psychological problems. About $4\%$ of Korean nursing students were current smokers and $64.2\%$ of Korean nursing students were drinker. Korean nursing students in the drinker's group were more likely to eat fatty foods(p<.001), and take worst lifestyle and have more subjective health problems than non drinker's group of Korean nursing students. Korean nursing students were more likely to perform bad health behaviors than Japanese nursing students. The drink habit is one of the biggest problems among the nursing student, and then we have to have the mobilizing for 'Change on Alcohol' in our universities. This conclusion should provide grounds for future studies of strategies for health promotion and of prevention measures for psychological ill-health of nursing students.

Purpose : This study was performed to measure the level of stress that is perceived by nurses and nursing students and promote the effect of clinical nursing education. Method : the questionnaire measuring the level of stress was developed by researchers and distributed to 200 nursing students and 300 nurses in three provincial city, Korea The data was collected by self-reporting from March 1 to 15 of 2002. For data analysis, SPSS/PC was used. Result : The stress score of nursing students was higher than that of nurses. But it was not significant different in statistics. The items that had a significant difference between two groups were 17 items among the 35 items. The factors that had a significant difference between two groups were 3 factors among the 4 factors. In relationship between the subjects' demographic characteristics and their stress, the only nursing unit had a relationship to their stress. Conclusion : The level of stress being perceived by nursing students and nurses was no significant different in statistics and the subjects' demographic characteristics that had a relationship to their stress was only the nursing unit.

Objective: Despite the recommendation of the use of high-fidelity simulation (HFS) in interprofessional education (IPE), there is little known about its work for nursing students. Thus, this study aimed to explore nurse educators' perceptions and experiences in developing and implementing the HFS-based IPE for nursing and medical students. Methods: This study used a case study, using reflective filed notes. Results: Nursing educators perceived HFS as an effective educational approach to engaging nursing and medical students actively in interprofessional collaborative practice (ICP) experiences and in evaluating their actual performance on it. In terms of their perspectives on the elements necessary for effective HFS-based IPE, four themes were identified: collaborative learning, co-facilitating debriefing, leadership commitment and active faculty involvement.
Purpose. The checked of perception for the protection of personal medical information of EMT student and Nursing student. Methods. Nursing students and EMT students 200 questionnaires were collected and Frequency analysis, Chi-square test, one-way ANOVA was performed for using the Windows SPSS(ver. 12.0). Results. Most of the subjects were aware of the protection law of personal information and Infringement of the privacy of personal information will be exposed. also, Education is needed privacy(EMT students $3.84{\pm}0.96$, Nursing students $3.73{\pm}0.99$). EMT($3.99{\pm}1.00$) and Nursing($4.07{\pm}0.94$)students due to exposure to both the patient's personal information privacy was violated would get recognized. Exposure to the computerization of information privacy will be exploited in other agencies(EMT students $3.78{\pm}0.88$, Nursing students $3.95{\pm}0.94$) was called. Conclusions. For the protection of personal health information, education needs to be expanded.
Purpose: Patient education is a dynamic and continuous process that should be implemented during the entire time of hospital stay and even afterward. Studies have shown the typically poor quality of patient education in Iran and its failure to convey the required knowledge and skills to patients. The purpose of this study was to survey the experience of nursing students in regard to the challenges of patient education in hospitals. Methods: This qualitative study was conducted using the conventional qualitative content analysis approach on a sample of 21 undergraduate nursing students (4th semester and beyond), which was drawn from the Qom Nursing and Midwifery School through purposive sampling with maximum variation. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews conducted over a period of 45 to 75 minutes, and were analyzed using the conventional qualitative content analysis. Results: Results were derived from the experiences of 21 nursing students (nine males, 12 females) about the research subject. The primary themes identified in the study were the student-related, patient-related, instructor-related, education environment-related, and curriculum-related barriers to patient educations. Conclusion: Participants believed that patient education in Iranian hospitals is faced with many challenges. Nursing instructors and curriculum planners should ensure more emphasis on patient education at the initial semesters of nursing education curriculum and make sure that it is included in the evaluation of students. Hospital officials should provide a dedicated education environment with suitable facilities, tools, and atmosphere for patient education. Also, special education programs need to be developed for less educated patients.

Purpose: This study was conducted to use as a preliminary data to improve the quality of clinical nursing education by comparing the perception of teaching effectiveness in nurses and nursing students. Method: The participants were 165 nurses and 289 nursing students. Data was collected from June 2 to 16, 2008. The research instruments used an effective clinical instructors which was developed by Reeve(1994). Result: The perception of teaching effectiveness in nurses and nursing students were 3.45 and 3.19 respectively and it showed that nurses' perception of teaching effectiveness are higher than that of nursing students. Nurses had strong points in the factors of "interpersonal relationship/ communication", "availability as a supporter", "teaching method and evaluation".In additions, the teaching effectiveness had significant differences to age, years of work, position, educational background and job satisfaction in nurses, otherwise, sex, differences of educational level, satisfaction of clinical practicum and major in students. Conclusion: It is needed a further study as below: to develop an education system which is to improve an interpersonal relationship and to upgrade the quality of educator; to develop a teaching method program of clinical nursing education to improve teaching effectiveness.

Purpose: This study was conducted to develop a comprehensive web-based nursing process program to assist nursing students and to evaluate the effects of the program. Methods: The system provides nursing students with guidelines based on NNN (NANDA, NOC, NIC) when the nursing students conduct a series of nursing procedures on diagnosis-outcome-intervention for a specific symptom. It also maintains and manages nursing processes actually conducted by students for clinical practices, and provides an environment where the patient information and nursing process can be converted into a formatted document for printing. This web-based program was used to surgical patients from April to June 2011. Results: The overall satisfaction rate was 3.64. The item with the highest score was, 'Do you think a web-based nursing process program is necessary?' (3.87), followed by 'Do you want to use this program when you become a nurse and implement the nursing process?' (3.33). Conclusion: These results indicate that implementation of web-based programs needs to be continued as an effective tool, but more research is needed on the best way to implement web-based programs in various clinical setting.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to explore the patients' perspectives on nursing students' clinical practices in the wards, and to investigate their willingness for allowing students to practice on them. Methods: This was a descriptive study. 116 inpatients were recruited from the S University Hospital. A 60-item questionnaire was applied to collect the data. The participants were 19 years and older with sound judgement, and were not in special or intensive care units. Data analysis was done in SPSS/WIN 22.0 using descriptive statistics, Fishers exact test, and the ANOVA test. the participant answered to questionnaire from April 29th 2016 to May 10th. Results: 40 participants (34.5%) stated they would allow students' practice, while 72 (61.2%) said they would allow only under staff supervision. 5 participants (4.3%) stated they would not allow whatsoever. The 3 most allowed were emotional support, oral care, and vital signs measurement while the 3 least allowed were gastric feeding, intravenous catheterization, and urinary catheterization. Conclusion: Patients were more inclined to allow students to practice on them when a member of the medical team was present. A fair number of participants said they would be more inclined to allow students' practice if they felt the student was competent; hence, reinforcing simulation sessions is vital in enhancing students' competency and ultimately practice allowance.
