Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of parental media use, parents' educational needs regarding media use, and parents' media guidance for children on the children's media use. Methods: The participants were 161 parents of elementary school children in the 1st and 4th grades. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires, and analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 19.0 IBM program. Results: The average times for watching television and using the internet in the children were 11.44 hours and 5.89 hours per week, respectively. Children's time watching television was influenced by parents' time watching television, children's gender (girl), and parents' educational needs. Children's television dependency was influenced by parents' educational needs, parents' time watching television, and parents' age (under 36 years). Time using the internet and internet dependency in the children were influenced by parents' educational needs, family monthly income (under 3 million won), and parents' guidance for children on watching television. Conclusion: The findings indicate that elementary school children's media use is influenced by parental media use, parents' educational needs, and parents' media guidance for children. Therefore parental factors should be considered in developing approaches to provide education programs to prevent media overuse in children.

The genome-wide program of gene expression during the cell division cycle response to serum free media in chinese hamster ovary(CHO) cells was characterized using cDNA microarrays. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and compare the existing digital media asset management systems and develop a prospective implementation model. As a result of conducting this research, it is recommended that the prospective system consist of archiving server, processing server, and interface program. This result suggests important starting point for development a resonable and reliable implementation model for digital media asset management system.

This paper describes the development of the 3DDAC mk.4 system, which is a brand new implementation on the research program. The 3DDAC is a fatigue-less stereoscopic display system that is provided with a compensating function of accommodation for binocular disparity 3D image representation. The mk.4 system also features a light-weight HMD style.

In commercial greenhouses, senescent flower petals or flowers of vegetables such as tomato, strawberry, hot pepper and zucchini squash were blighted to be removed from fruits within five days after spraying of Trichoderma harzianum YC459 (TORY), a biocontrol agent for the gray mold rot of vegetables caused by B. cinerea The mechanism for selective colonization of senescent floral tissues by T. harzianum YC459 was elucidated using fresh and senescent (Hays and 14days after flowering, respectively) floral tissues of zucchini squash (Cucurbita moschata Duchesne). The spores of T. hrzianum YC459 were produced more on agar and liquid culture media supplemented with 5％ dry powder of senescent floral tissues than fresh tissues during 15days. Mycelial growth was also much better in the media with senescent tissues than with fresh tissues. Enzyme activities of amylase, polygalacturonase and cellulase in the liquid media which might be involved in the colonization of tissues by T. harzianum YC459 were compared. The activities of three enzymes were much higher in the media with senescent floral tissues than with fresh floral tissues reaching to the maximum during 9 to 12days of incubation. Based on the results, the removal of senescent floral tissues, a possible inoculum source of the pathogen, may be another mechanism for biocontrol of gray mold rot of vegetables by T. harzianum YC459.

This study investigated effect of media lieteracy and self-esteem on sexual permissiveness among high school student in order to develop a sex education program. The participants were 639 high school students from Seoul, Kyeonggi, and Incheon in Korea. According to the regression analysis, sexual permissiveness was explained by sex, economic status, SML1, SE family. The results suggested that it is important to develop a sex education program that focuses on enhancing media literacy and family-related self-esteem to raise the right sex attitude of adolescents.

The irradiation tests of materials in HANARO have been performed usually at temperatures below $300^{\circ}C$ at which the RPV(Reactor Pressure Vessel) materials of the commercial reactors such as the light water reactor and CANDU are operated. As VHTR(Very High Temperature Reactor) and SFR(Sodium-cooled Fast Reactor) projects are being carried as a part of the present Gen-IV program in Korea, the requirements for irradiation of materials at temperatures higher than $500^{\circ}C$ are recently being gradually increased. To overcome the restriction in the use at high temperature of the existing Al thermal media, a new capsule with double thermal media composed of two kinds of materials such as Al-Ti and Al-graphite was designed and fabricated more advanced than the single thermal media capsule. At the irradiation test of the capsule, the temperature of the specimens successfully reached $700^{\circ}C$ and the integrity of Al, Ti and graphite material was maintained.

CIP, or Corporate Identity Program is a program to standardize, conforming to a set of regulations, various visual media which form a corporate environment based on the concepts drawn from the corporate strategies in order to actively create a planned but ideal corporate image. However, both the recent corporate renovation and the emergence of a new type of corporations prompted by a rapid change in an corporate environment caused the existing corporate concepts to be adapted to such a change. Particularly various visual media related to a corporate image are getting digitalized, and the emergence of a new and varied type of visual media give rise to a new pattern of the identity design accommodating such changes. It may be improper and insufficient for the existing CIP to be applied on the franchising business which is considered most suitable for the new corporate environment. Business firm's office work has long been operated in an computing environment where the computer does all the work, and an individual home as well as small business began widely using the computer. It may therefore be necessary that the corporate identity design for the franchising business should include not only the use of visual media but new, ultramodern information media as well, departing from the CIP heavily centered on the usual print media. This study, for this reason, separates the identity design for the franchising business from the existing CIP to call it FIP, or Franchise Identity Program, and discusses its concept and details.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the appearance orientation and clothing and cosmetics purchasing behaviors according to media contact responses. The subjects were 445 female university students in Daejeon and Chungnam province. The measuring instruments was a questionnaire with media contact responses, appearance orientation, clothing and cosmetics purchasing behavior, and subjects' demographic characteristics. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, frequency analysis, ${\chi}^2$ test, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, and regression analysis using SPSS program. The results were as follows. First, female university students had very positive response and attitude on entertainers' appearance, style and products showed by media. Second, media contact response had a significant effect on appearance orientation. The group with a high level of media contact response showed higher appearance orientation than the groups with mediate and low level of media contact response. Third, media contact response had meaningful effects on clothing and cosmetics purchasing behaviors. The group with a high level of media contact response showed higher shopping frequency, purchasing frequency, and more spending on clothing and cosmetics than other groups.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of adolescent development environment including parenting attitude, peer relationship, and school environment on delinquent behavior, and between these relationships, the mediate effect of media environment such as computer and mobile devices. The $6^{th}$ year data from Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) was used and the subjects were limited to 518 students of $7^{th}$ grade who are in their early adolescence. The result shows that adolescents under more affectionate, over involvement, and abusive parenting attitude will commit delinquent behaviors more frequently, and so does alienated youth from their friends. Parenting inconsistency and communication with friends make them use computer and cell phone more often, and excessive media usage increases adolescent's delinquent behavior. In conclusion, family environment and peer relation have influence on adolescents' delinquent behavior. Therefore, there is necessity to build development environment that prevent adolescents' delinquencies like parent education program or peer communication program for example. Also, proper education program for using computer or cell phone usage can reduce adolescents' delinquent behaviors, especially when its addictive aspect was recently issued.
