BEPU analysis of a CANDU LBLOCA RD-14M experiment using RELAP/SCDAPSIM

  • A key element of the safety analysis is Loss of Coolant Analysis (LOCA) which must be performed using system thermal-hydraulic codes. These codes are extensively validated against separate effect and integral experiments. RELAP/SCDAPSIM is one such code that may be used to predict LBLOCA response in a CANDU reactor. The RD-14M experiment selected for the Best Estimate Plus Uncertainty study is a 44 mm (22.7%) inlet header break test with no Emergency Coolant Injection. This work has two objectives first is to simulate pipe break with RELAP and compare these results to those available from experiment and from comparable TRACE calculations. The second objective is to quantify uncertainty in the fuel element sheath (FES) temperature arising from model coefficient as well as input parameter uncertainties using Integrated Uncertainty Analysis package. RELAP calculated results are found to be in good agreement with those of TRACE and with those of experiments. The base case maximum FES temperature is 335.5 ℃ while that of 95% confidence 95th percentile is 407.41 ℃ for the first order Wilk's formula. The experimental measurements fall within the predicted band and the trends and sensitivities are similar to those reported for the TRACE code.

  • 돌발상황으로 인한 지체를 감소시키기 위한 돌발상황의 신속한 검지, 확인 및 대응은 고속도로를 비롯한 교통관리의 중요한 요소이며, 고속도로 본래의 기능을 효과적으로 유지하기 위해서는 고속도로 교통관리 시스템 중 돌발상황 관리시스템이 매우 중요한 역할을 차지하고 있다. 현재 고속도로에는 3종류의 돌발상황 검지알고리즘(APID, DELOS, DES 알고리즘)을 사용하고 있으며, 내부순환도로, 강변북로, 올림픽대로 등에 설치된 검지알고리즘의 경우와 마찬가지로 국내 도로 및 교통상황에 적합한 파라미터의 검증 없이 그대로 사용하고 있고 있어, 검지기 자료의 유효성이 낮은 점등과 함께 문제로 지적되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 McMaster를 포함한 돌발상황 검지알고리즘의 평가를 위해 방법론 및 시나리오를 구성하여 교통여건별, 시나리오별로 평가하였다. 모든 조건을 만족하는 하나의 돌발상황 검지알고리즘을 개발한다는 것은 어려우며 각 도로 및 교통조건에 맞추어 최적의 알고리즘을 적용하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 판단된다. 돌발상황 검지알고리즘 개발은 교통류 분석에서 살펴본 바와 같이 전체차로의 검지기 데이터를 적용하기보다는 개별차로 검지기 데이터 중심의 검지알고리즘이 요구되는데 기존 알고리즘의 수행능력의 한계도 있지만 기본적으로 검지기 자료의 신뢰성이 문제가 되고 있으며, 기존 고속도로에 적용하기 위해서는 1분 이상의 집계간격 검지기 자료를 이용하는 것이 바람직할 수 있다. 또한, 이종검지기간 특성차이를 반영한 검지기별 파라메타 적용과, 위치별 교통류 특성에 따른 최적 파라미터의 사용이 이루어져야 한다.적용할 수 있다. 제시된 모형은 ILOG Cplex 및 Solver를 활용하여 기존 차량경로문제와 비교하여 다양한 고객 및 차량 수에 대하여 최적해에 근접한 해를 쉽게 구할 수 있다.보여 우위를 판단할 수 없었지만, 확정적 통행배정모형으로 설정한 경우, Stackelberg게임 접근법이 Cournot-Nash게임 접근법 보다 더 우수함을 확인할 수 있었다.다.수안보 등 지역에서 나타난다 이러한 이상대 주변에는 대개 온천이 발달되어 있었거나 새로 개발되어 있는 곳이다. 온천에 이용하고 있는 시추공의 자료는 배제하였으나 온천이응으로 직접적으로 영향을 받지 않은 시추공의 자료는 사용하였다 이러한 온천 주변 지역이라 하더라도 실제는 온천의 pumping 으로 인한 대류현상으로 주변 일대의 온도를 올려놓았기 때문에 비교적 높은 지열류량 값을 보인다. 한편 한반도 남동부 일대는 이번 추가된 자료에 의해 새로운 지열류량 분포 변화가 나타났다 강원 북부 오색온천지역 부근에서 높은 지열류량 분포를 보이며 또한 우리나라 대단층 중의 하나인 양산단층과 같은 방향으로 발달한 밀양단층, 모량단층, 동래단층 등 주변부로 NNE-SSW 방향의 지열류량 이상대가 발달한다. 이것으로 볼 때 지열류량은 지질구조와 무관하지 않음을 파악할 수 있다. 특히 이러한 단층대 주변은 지열수의 순환이 깊은 심도까지 가능하므로 이러한 대류현상으로 지표부근까지 높은 지온 전달이 되어 나타나는 것으로 판단된다.의 안정된 방사성표지효율을 보였다. $^{99m}Tc$-transferrin을 이용한 감염영상을 성공적으로 얻을 수

  • In this pape, we designed and implemented a hardware accelerator for the generation of bit map font from Hangul outline font description for LBP (Laser Beam Printer) and screen applications Whole system was implemented as a double size PC/AT application board which consists of processing bolck and display block. The processing block has a master processor (MC68000)and two slave processors which are MC56001 and KAFOG chip responsible for the short vector generation. In the display block, TMS34061 was used for monitor display and GP425 was used for LBP print out. The resolution of the monitor is 640$\times$480 and that of LBP is 2385$\times$3390. The current system called KHGB90-B generates about 100 characters per second where each character consists of 32$\times$32 bits

  • A new bivariate linear failure rate distribution is introduced through a shock model. It is proved that the marginal distributions of this new bivariate distribution are linear failure rate distributions. The joint moment generating function of the bivariate distribution is derived. Mixtures of bivariate linear failure rate distributions are also discussed. Application to a real data is given.
