  • This study analyzes the effect of CoP(Community of Practice) influence factors on satisfaction and learning culture activation in R&D groups. Research model and hypothesis is designed the relationship the effect factors for CoP which are consist of personal factor, interacting factor, support factor and environmental factor and satisfaction and the learning culture activation focused on comparing between maturity and immaturity CoP member group. It conducted an analysis based on 371 survey responses significantly. Hence, interacting, supporting and personal factor have a significant positive effect on satisfaction but environmental factor was negative effect to it. CoP Satisfaction has a positive effect on the learning culture activation. However average between two groups has not a statistically significant difference in all of the factors. At the result, interacting between members is the most important factor to the successful CoP development of R&D groups.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify issues for an effective safety culture assessment by conducting a case study of an electronics manufacturing plant in Korea. Cooper's safety culture model was used as the assessment method, and Fleming and Hudson's safety culture maturity models were applied as assessment criteria. The results of the safety culture assessment showed that there needs to be a design optimized for study purposes. For example, the correlation between the questionnaire survey and in-depth interview needs to be analyzed. The result of the behavior monitoring should show the relationships with other dimensions. A safety culture maturity model has to be developed to customize the study factors and questions.

  • 국내 많은 기업들이 CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration) 모델을 도입해서 소프트웨어 개발 프로세스를 구축 및 내재화 후 CMU(Carnegie Mellon University)의 SEI(Software Engineering Institute)로부터 인증을 받고 있지만, CMMI Maturity Level 3 이상 인증 받은 조직에서 조차도 프로젝트 지연 및 품질 문제가 자주 발생한다.

  • Many organizations are facing larger and more frequent changes in the current economic and managerial environment. And what is more, change is supposed to be a business as usual. Considering the importance of change management process and the organizational competency to rapidly and successfully change, in this study the components of change management maturity(CMM) was selected such as the leadership, communication, resistance, people culture factor, methodology, functional group, and change review. And information system performance affected by CMM is confined to the efficiency and effectiveness of information systems. Some results from the verification of research hypotheses and the analysis of the most appropriate model was drawn out. The result of this study can be applied to all organizations which plan to manage more successful change and implement more effective information systems.

  • As information systems are introduced in organizations, user attitudes toward IS are crucial factors for the success of such systems. Hence, understanding what affects user attitudes should be a major concern in MIS research. The purpose of this study is to improve the understanding of social influence on IS adoption. Social influence construct is stretched to include four items: subject norm, image, visibility, and voluntariness. Also, this paper examines the roles of two moderators regarding social influence: user characteristics and IT maturity. We could find that 1) social influence has a significant impact on perceived usefulness(PU), perceived ease of use(PEU), and intention, 2) the social influence on PU is more noticeable for knowledge worker than for undergraduate student, and 3) social influence on knowledge worker's PU is stronger for emerging IT(e.g., wireless internet services) than for mature IT(e.g., spreadsheet software).

  • Objective: The objective of this study is to investigate the eruption pattern and root resorption of the bovine anterior dentition in relation to growth-related parameters based on dental maturity. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 110 bovine anterior mandibles by using standard radiography, cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), and actual measurements. We determined the relationships between the stages of dental maturity by using a modification of Demirjian's method and various growth-related parameters, such as the activity of the root-resorbing tissue and mobility of the deciduous teeth. The correlation of growth-related parameters with interdental spacing and distal unusual root resorption (DRR) of the deciduous fourth incisor was assessed. The cause of mesial unusual root resorption (MRR) of the deciduous fourth incisor was determined on the basis of the arrangement of the permanent third incisor. Results: An independent t-test and chi-square test indicated significant differences in growth-related parameters associated with dental arch length discrepancy and factors related to the shedding of deciduous teeth between the low and high dental maturity groups. The samples with interdental spacing and DRR showed a larger sum of mesiodistal permanent crown widths and higher dental maturity than did the respective controls. Samples with MRR tended to show a lingually rotated distal tip of the adjacent tooth crown. Conclusions: Dental maturity has relevance to the interdental spaces and unusual root resorption of mixed dentition. The position of the adjacent tooth crown on CBCT may be correlated with the occurrence of unusual root resorption of the incisor.

  • The Fuji variety of apple, introduced in Japan, has excellent storage quality and good taste, such that it is the most commonly cultivated apple variety in Gunwi County, North Gyeongsang Province, Korean Peninsula. Accurate prediction of harvest maturity allows farmers to more efficiently manage their farm in important aspects such as working time, fruit storage, market shipment, and labor distribution. Temperature is one of the most important factors that determine plant growth, development, and yield. This paper reports on the beta distribution (function) model that can be used to simulate the the phenological response of plants to temperature. The beta function, commonly used as a skewed probability density in statistics, was introduced to estimate apple harvest maturity as a function of temperature in this study. The model parameters were daily maximum temperature, daily optimum temperature, and maximum growth rate. They were estimated from the input data of daily maximum and minimum temperature and apple harvest maturity. The difference in observed and predicted maturity day from 2009 to 2012, with optimal parameters, was from two days earlier to one day later.
