Data Literacy, Organizational Culture, and Data Analytics Maturity: Moderating Effect of Organizational Culture (데이터 리터러시와 데이터 분석 성숙도의 관계에서 조직문화의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the relationships among data literacy, organizational culture, and data analytics maturity and the moderating effects of organizational culture. Analysis of the relationship between data literacy and data analytics maturity shows that the higher the data literacy competency of employees, the higher the organization's data analytics maturity. In examining the relationship between organizational culture and data analytics maturity, it is found that relationship culture and innovation culture are positively related to data analytics maturity. In addition, relationship culture and hierarchy culture show significant moderating effects. Relationship culture shows a synergistic effect, whereas hierarchy culture has a buffer effect between data literacy and data analytics maturity.

Development of a classification model for tomato maturity using hyperspectral imagery

  • In this study, we aimed to develop a maturity classification model for tomatoes using hyperspectral imaging in the range of 400 - 1,000 nm. Fifty-seven tomatoes harvested in August and November of 2021 were used as the sample set, and hyperspectral data was extracted from the surfaces of these tomatoes. A combined method of SNV (standard normal variate) and SG (Savitzky-Golay) methods was used for the pre-processing of the hyperspectral data. In addition, the hyperspectral data were analyzed for all maturity stages and considering bandwidths with different FWHM (full width at half maximum) values of 2, 25, and 50 nm. The PCA (principal component analysis) method was used to analyze the principal components related to maturity stages for the tomatoes. As a result, 500 - 550 nm and 650 - 700 nm bands were found to be related to the maturity stages of tomatoes. In addition, PC1 and PC2 explained approximately 97% of the variance at all FWHM conditions and thus were used as input data for classification model training based on the SVM (support vector machine). The SVM models were able to classify tomato maturity into five stages (Green, Turning, Pink, Light red, and Red) with over 95% accuracy regardless of the FWHM condition. Therefore, it was considered that hyperspectral data with 50 nm FWHM and SVM is feasible for use in the classification of tomato maturity into five stages.

  • The purpose of this paper was to empirically verify the effect of nail list maturity on work performance and customer orientation, and analyzed 300 adult female nail beauty workers (nailists) working at nail salons across the country. As a result of investigating the research hypothesis, it was found that the maturity of the nail list had a significant effect on work performance, and the maturity of the nail list had a significant effect on customer orientation. Given the increasing number of novice nail artists, it is inferred that the maturity of a nail artist can directly manifest in procedural outcomes and revenue aspects. Consequently, strategies to enhance the maturity of nail artists are expected to profoundly influence customer orientation and job performance. There was a scarcity of prior research discussing maturity from the perspective of nail beauty or other beauty fields (skin, hair, etc.), which posed challenges in our discourse. We anticipate in-depmore th follow-up research in the future.

  • The strength development of concrete is influenced by temperature and cement type which greatly affect hydration degree of cement. There is not pertinent concrete strength management methods for estimating the in-place strength of concrete. One such method is the maturity concept. The maturity concept is based on the fact that concrete gains strength with time as a result of the cement hydration and, thus the rate of hydration, as in any chemical reaction, depends primarily on the concrete temperature during hydration. Thus, the strength of concrete is function of its time-temperature history. This goals of the present study are to investigate a relationship between strength of high-fluidity concrete and maturity that is expressed as a function of an integral of the curing period and temperature, predict strength of concrete.

  • This paper is to propose e-business strategies for individual SME's(small and medium-sized enterprises). e-business maturity model is used to assess e-business maturity level of a target SME, and then corresponding e-business strategy is proposed based on the current maturity level. We studied two SME's to show how it works. Most SME's are small and do not have enough resources to invest on information systems. As it turns out, e-business strategies of SME should heavily depend on its relationship with customers and suppliers. One of the studied SME's is found to be in higher maturity level, because its manufacturing system is tightly related to its customer. One of major implications of this study is that e-business level of SME's should be upgraded considering how it is doing business with its customers and suppliers.

Association of Sexual Maturation and Parent-Child Communication on Maturity Fears in Elementary School Girls (초등학교 여학생의 성적 성숙도, 부모자녀 의사소통 및 성숙 불안에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate factors that influence maturity fears in elementary school girls. Methods: The participants were 118 3rd and 4th grade students from 3 elementary schools in 3 cities in Korea. Data were collected using questionnaires which included measurement scales for the relative variables and demographic data. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchial regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: The significant predictors of maturity fears were weight, father-child communication, frequency of maturity communication with father, and close relation with mother. Conclusion: For effective management of maturity fears in elementary school girls, programs including weight control, functional communication with father and supportive nurturance of mother should be developed.

The Longitudinal Study of Diet and Sexual Maturity as a Determinant of Obesity for Adolescents

  • This study was conducted to investigate the determinants of obesity during adolescnece. A total of 726 adolescents living in rural areas in Korea had been observed for four years from 1992 to 1996 regarding their diet, sexual maturity, blood profile and physical growth. Stepwise multiple regression analysis was used to identify priorities fo the importance between the factors influencing obesity. The average nutrient intake over the three year period was higher than that of the Korean Recommended Dietary Allowances. The prevalence of obesity for the subjects based on BMI was 9.5%. Results of the stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that blood components and sexual maturity were more significant factors for determining the obesity than the dietary factors. The result may suggest that to understand obesity in children it is necessary to develop on analytical model for the children rather than using the existing analytical model developed mostly for adult patients of obesity. The model should include a wide range of variables such as diet, sexual maturity and changes in blood.

Variation of Growth and Yield of Silage Corn According to Maturity (숙기별 사일리지용 옥수수의 생육 및 수량변화)

  • This study was carried out at Crop Experiment Station in 1993 and 1994. The objective of this study was finding out variation of growth and yield of corn according to maturity. Hybrids of corn used in this study were early maturing corn Comet80, Elite90, Royaldent IOOT, Royaldent T$\times$llO, P3525, P3394, medium maturing corn Royaldent 120T. and late maturing corn Jungbuok, P3144W. G4743. Stalk height, leaf number, ear weight, stover weight, and TDN yield of early maturing corn were linearly increased with prolonged maturity in 1993 growing season. Leaf number, and stover weight of early and late maturing corn were linearly increased with prolonged maturity in 1994 growing season. But ear weight of late manuring corn was not increased as much as that of early manuring corn with prolonged maturity. Increase of total DM and TDN yield of late maturing corn was due to stover weight increase compared with ear weight increase of early maturing corn. Leaf number and stover weight were highly correlated with silk (Growing Degree Days) GDD.

  • Regarding to maturity evaluation of pig manure compost mixed with saw dust, change of constituents of organic matter influenced by microbial activities were investigated. Throughout the two stages of active composting period, we obtained a lot of data related to compost stabilization. However, we found out that only a couple of parameters could be used for adequate evaluation of compost. We, therefore, decided that total sugar and reducing sugar could be used for the reasonable standard criteria of maturity during composting process, even though some enzyme activities by phosphates and cellulase reactions were obtained and compared. Because the other parameters such as contents of lignin, cellulose, and organic acids were difficult to be used for maturity evaluation of pig manure compost.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate relationships between major satisfaction and career decision efficacy and career attitude maturity of engineering college students by performing canonical correlation analysis. A total of 492 engineering students(male=380, female=112) completed 3 tests. The results of canonical correlation analysis showed a) major satisfaction were significantly associated with career decision efficacy, b) major satisfaction were significantly associated with career attitude maturity, and c) career decision efficacy were significantly associated with career attitude maturity.
