Effect of Soil Organic Matter Content and Nutrition Elements on Yield of Potato

  • A study of different levels of Nutrition Elements and the chemical properties of the soil was conducted to determine the yield performance of potato. Application of sulfur, potassium, and Magnesium significantly affected final height, dry matter content, and crispiness of potato. The final pH, organo-nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium content in the soil were significantly affected by S-K-Mg application.

  • In the standard theory of the large scale structure formation, matter accretes onto high density perturbations via gravitational instability. Collision less dark matter forms caustics around such structures, while collisional baryonic matter forms accretion shocks which then halt and heat the infalling gas. Here we discuss the characteristics. roles, and observational consequences of these accretion shocks.

  • This paper analysis the process capability by applying experiment design to control alcohol in soluble matter mixing process of laundry soap. The results are summarized as follows: (1) Alcohol insoluble matter shows the tendency of increasing according to the mixing temperature (A) and beating velocity (B). (2) The most suitable working condition of the mixing process is $A_2B_2$, and 95% confidence limit of alcohol insoluble matter is $22.06{\pm}0.77%$. (3) The process capability index ($C_p$) of the mixing process is improved from 0.64 to 1.68.

  • Active matter는 스스로 에너지를 가지고 움직이는 개체들이 서로 상호작용을 하여 집단적인 움직임을 보이는 물질이다. Rotational noise model은 반발 상호작용과 rotational noise를 가지고 있는 self-propelled particle로 active matter를 설명한다. 이 연구에서는 rotational noise model에서의 상 도표와 클러스터 형성을 알아보고 입자들의 집단적인 운동을 도와주거나 방해할 수 있는 leader 입자와 seed가 클러스터의 운동에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 알아본다.

Towards a Better Understanding of Structure Formation: Galaxies and Dark Matter

  • Understanding the interplay between galaxies and dark matter in the universe is one of key challenges in modern astrophysics. This provides an important test of structure formation scenarios and cosmological models. I discuss three aspects of this test: (1) comparing the matter distribution from galaxy redshift surveys with that from weak-lensing surveys, (2) statistical comparison of large-scale structures between observations and cosmological simulations, and (3) multi-wavelength study of galaxies. These tests underscore the importance of combining photometric and spectroscopic surveys in observations along with cosmological simulations for exploring and understanding the structure formation.

"There's no Place like Home: The Sejong Suite"

  • I will present the Sejong Suite, an extensive collection of state-of-the-art high-resolution cosmological hydrodynamical simulations spanning a variety of cosmological and astrophysical parameters, primarily developed for modeling the Lyman-Alpha forest. Adopting a particle-based implementation, we follow the evolution of gas, dark matter (cold and warm), massive neutrinos, and dark radiation, and consider several combinations of box sizes and number of particles. Noticeably, for the first time, we simulate extended mixed scenarios describing the combined effects of warm dark matter, neutrinos, and dark radiation, modeled consistently by taking into account the neutrino mass splitting. Along the way, I will also highlight some new results focused on the matter and flux statistics.

  • The purpose of this study is to the design tendency expression of contemporary architectural matter, I can find out how the architecture is represented using the surface of building in its autonomy. I study backgrounds of contemporary architectural matter, method and their natures. In this case, i can notice that 'framework-dressing' method formed a objectified tectonic system, while it supplied arts with room that they hold priority to architecture. So it makes me find that contemporary architectural matter resided in relationship complicated between things and events. Also, this study on analyzing spatial effect by the figurative language derived by researching the dadaisme, pop art, kinetic art, video art hit In conclusion, analyzing the recent experiments in the expressive qualities of exterior skin, in their use of materials, methods of construction and visual effects, it can be argued that the new skin is inclusive of times, and has autonomic, constant and tactile features. Base on their immaterial vocabularies - limits, material, mouvement, media - these could be characterized as vibrant plates.
