  • 본 연구에서는 새로운 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 환경에서 세일즈 프로모션의 의미와 성장 배경을 검토하고 향후 방향을 예측하여 보았다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 마케팅 환경에서의 세일즈 프로모션의 성장 배경으로 체험 마케팅, 개인 마케팅, 미디어 크리에이티브, 바이럴 마케팅에 대해 분석하였다. 또한 미래 세일즈 프로모션의 방향으로 브랜드 커뮤니케이션, 소비자 브랜드 관계, ICT 활용, 통합 마케팅 커뮤니케이션을 예측하여 보았다. 본 연구는 새로운 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 환경에서 세일즈 프로모션의 변화하는 기능을 분석하고 향후 진행 방향을 예측해본다는 의미를 가진다.

간호서비스 마케팅에 관한 연구;'촉진(Promotion)' 개념 개발 (Concept Development of Service Marketing Promotion in Nursing)

  • The main objective of this study was to develop a concept of service marketing promotion in nursing that is derived from the concepts of service marketing theory. This research was a descriptive study, at the factor isolation level. The principle of concept derivation suggested by Walker and Avant (1988) and the Hybrid model suggested by Schwarz-Barcott and Kim (1993) were employed as the research method. The data were collected from December, 1997 to April. 1998 at a large general hospital located in Seoul. The procedures of this study were as follows: First. at the theoretical phase: the meaning, attributes, and definition of service marketing promotion were identified through an extensive review of the literature. Second, at the empirical phase: fieldwork was done to identify the promotional activities and events in nursing. Top nurse managers from 4 units (Director of Nursing, Head nurses of inpatient nursing unit, outpatient nursing unit. and home care nursing unit) were interviewed and the content of the interview was analyzed to identify the meaning and attributes of promotion in nursing. Other methods such as brochures and other audio-visual materials which were relevant to nursing promotion were used to supplement the interviews. Finally, the results of the theoretical and empirical analyses were intergrated to develop a concept of service marketing in nursing practice. A final definition of service marketing promotion in nursing was identified as follows. 1. Promotion as a marketing function in nursing service is concerned with communication to target markets on all information related to nursing service in order to satisfy the objectives of both a nursing service organization and the target markets. 2. The goals of nursing service promotion include: 1) increasing visibility of nursing services and delivering the information on nursing services, 2) affirming the value of nursing services, so it can contribute to formulation of reimbursement policy for nursing services. 3) advancing the general image of the nursing profession and nursing services. 4) achieving and attaining a desirable positioning for nurses among health care professionals. and 5) creating and stimulating the demand for nursing services. 3. In order to obtain these goals it is necessary to provide information on nursing services, to persuade target markets. to remind them about nursing services. and to establish a collaborative relationship with related departments. 4. The tools used to carry out the above functions of promotion in nursing are the providing nursing services, public relations and publicity. QA of nursing, advertising, and sales promotion. 5. The target markets of nursing service include the nursing customer markets. the internal markets, the influence markets. the recruitment markets. the supplier markets. and the nursing referral markets. In conclusion, the concept of promotion in other service marketing areas can be applied to the promotion of nursing service marketing. The promotion of nursing service is more than just effective communication in nursing service. it is the effective use of the concepts of service marketing promotion. Promotion of nursing service will contribute to create and expand nursing services.

패밀리레스토랑의 마케팅 활동에 대한 여성고객의 인지, 매력, 만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on Awareness, Attraction, Satisfaction of Women Customers in Family Restaurant Marketing Activity)

  • This study performed a analysis of customer purchasing behavior in family restaurant. The type of family restaurant marketing activity was classified to free gift promotion, special menu promotion, discount promotion, membership program, coupon, co-marketing promotion were assumed to stimulus. The awareness of stimulus and exposure, attention, comprehension process was assumed to attraction and the contribution of stimulus was assumed to satisfaction on this study. A sample of study is assigned women customers are core customer group not family restaurant but all of industry. The study has showed co-marketing is the most outstanding marketing activity in family restaurant all of aspects and the awareness and attraction of co-marketing is higher than satisfaction. A result of t-test for awareness and attraction of discount and coupon promotion is attended. Attraction of them is higher than awareness. But satisfaction of them is lower than attraction means that family restaurants should makes an effort to develop the customer satisfaction to ensure customer loyalty through the discount and coupon promotion. On one-way ANOVA of awareness, attraction and satisfaction by age, discount and coupon promotion is related to it Speciality as low age as sensitive in awareness, attraction, satisfaction of discount promotion.

친환경유기농산물 소비촉진을 위한 마케팅 전략 (Marketing Strategies for Promotion Policy of Environmentally Friendly Farm and Organic Products)

  • The overall focus of this study was to identify marketing and promotion strategies that can maintain and enhance environmentally friendly farm and organic production and processing activities. This is particularly important as the volume of environmentally friendly farm and organic produce that is generally available is increasing, and significant players, such as Organic Marketing Initiatives(OMI) and conventional marketing co-operatives, are becoming involved in the market. The rapid increase in production of environmentally friendly farm products and organic food is creating new and more complex challenges for marketing, from vegetable box schemes large co-operatives supplying the precise quality and volume required by supermarkets. A possible strategy for many farmers is to co-operate in regionally or nationally operating marketing initiatives. The main objective of any public relations(PR) activity should to enhance publicity and to improve an OMIs image. No promotion, no perception of OMI performance.

  • In a rapidly changing market, the companies are applying a variety of elements for promoting sales for the inflow of consumers. For the elements of sales promotion, the tendency to apply the experiential marketing that provides a positive recognition centering on the customers, and in such tendency, the consumers places the values on the experience obtained from the spatial elements of sales promotion provided by the companies. As it is reflected on the life style of consumers, the drugstores applied with the experiential marketing as a mean of sales promotion is rapidly growing in the distribution market. In this study, the elements of sales promotion was picked out and 5 types of experience such as sense, feel, think, act, relate of Bernd H. Schmitt was investigated. The spatial composition of drugstores were classified into destination, assortment, convenience and occasion, and through self experienced visual research, the experiential marketing strategy applied to drugstores and the elements of sales promotion applied with experiential marketing was analyzed. The streets of Hongik University as a strategic point of beauty, by selecting four H&B stores which were recently opened, a future direction is proposed by conducting the case analysis on the elements of sales promotion of drugstores and the spatial composition of drugstores applied with experiential marketing. In conclusion, in overall space, the behavioral experiential elements are weak. The behavioral experiential elements are a marketing that induce the intuitive behavior added with expertise and considered difficult to be maintained. Although the consumers think that the biggest value of drugstores is 'free and convenient product test' but in the other hand, they tend to think most positively about the consulting of experts. Therefore, the space emphasized with expertise should be more highlighted but such space should consider the convenience of consumers.

Effect of Motivation Type and Reward Uncertainty on Consumers' Marketing Promotion Participation

  • The current research proposes to fill a research gap by testing how reward uncertainty, different types of motivation, as well as individual risk-taking attitude affect consumers' promotion participation. Being offered with an uncertain reward, relative to individuals with extrinsic motivation, individuals with intrinsic motivation will have greater intention to participate in marketing promotion. In contrast, being offered with a certain reward, relative to individuals with intrinsic motivation, individuals with extrinsic motivation will have greater intention to participate in marketing promotion. This effect arises only among consumers having a low level of risk-taking attitude. For consumers having a high level of risk-taking attitude, their participation intention shows no significant difference between the two motivation type groups, under both certain and uncertain reward conditions. With an understanding of how consumer's response heterogeneously to promotions involving rewards, marketers can better understand not only how to use this promotional tactic more effectively, but also how to better allocate their budget for promotions.

온라인 담배 마케팅 분석을 통한 담배규제정책의 향후 과제 : 온라인 담배 판매 및 광고를 중심으로 (Analysis on online marketing of tobacco product in Korea: current issues and future directions for tobacco control)

  • Objectives: Tobacco marketing encourages smoking initiation of non-smokers, especially adolescents, and it hinders quit intention of those who smoke or who attempt to quit smoking. Article 13 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control(WHO FCTC) requests a comprehensive ban on tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship(TAPS). Ratified the Convention in 2005, Korea has partially implemented the provisions. However, online marketing regulations are still insufficient. Methods: Based on relevant national and international regulations, this research designed monitoring mechanism for online tobacco marketing and studied 1,404 websites to identify current situation of online sales and advertisement of tobacco in Korea. Results: This study found that online trade of tobacco products are overtly conducted, while tobacco advertising with flavoring and misleading descriptors are also prevalent. Also, online tobacco marketing facilitate adolescents' access to tobacco product and that advertising and promotion activities lead to tobacco purchase without difficulties. Conclusions: Fundamental solution to prevent online tobacco advertisement and promotion is banning online sales of tobacco and conducting a regular monitoring for compliance. Korean government should consider establishing an official surveillance system for online tobacco advertisement, followed by a comprehensive ban on TAPS to fulfill its obligation as a Party to the FCTC.

온라인 패션 SOHO 쇼핑몰의 판매촉진특성 및 판매촉진전략 (Characteristics and Strategy of Sales Promotion for On-line Fashion SOHO Shopping Mall)

  • The purpose of this study is to search the characteristics and strategy of sales promotion in on-line fashion SOHO (Small Office Home Office) shopping malls. 87 of these shopping malls have been selected through a ranking service called 100HOT (http://www.100hot.co.kr), and 906 cases of sales promotion activities have been executed on web-sites of these shopping malls. The cases have been analyzed by descriptive statistics and chi-square analysis. The results are as follows: First, on-line fashion SOHO shopping malls have frequently used sales promotion tactics such as demonstration, display, viral marketing, sale, event, customer compensation, community marketing, experimental marketing, coupon, premium, reserve fund and delivery service. Second, there are significant differences between shopping malls for men and women in sales promotion tactics such as demonstration, viral marketing, sale, and community marketing, but there is no significant difference in tactics such as demonstration, event, and customer compensation. Third, the shopping malls have used various sales promotion strategies such as maximizing the sales, characterizing product features, procuring new customers, preserving existing customers, enhancing customer loyalty, improving customer relationship and controlling returns.

  • Purpose - Because creativity, which is an intangible resource embedded within the company, can offer a competitive advantage, most companies have an interest in promoting creativity among their employees and division(e.g., marketing organization). Creativity renders a sustainable competitive advantage to a firm because it is a strategic resource that is valuable, flexible, rare, and imperfectly imitable or substitutable. Although most companies broadly recognize the importance of creativity, the methods for developing creativity remain elusive. Therefore, the present study investigates how to structure incentives to motivate employees to be more creative and how to develop tools to facilitate creativity. In detail, the present study aimed to examine the relationship between the regulatory focus of marketing organizations(e.g., promotion focus vs prevention focus) and creativity of marketing organizations. In addition, the present study set out to examine the moderating role of interaction of financial reward and creative training in addition to investigating the direct relationship between creativity and regulatory focus in New Product Development(NPD) context. Research design, data, and methodology - The data used to test the hypotheses are drawn from a survey of full time NPD project members(including project manager, designer, engineer, and marketer). The present study utilized data obtained mainly from a database compiled by the Korea Investors Service-Financial Analysis System which provides comprehensive corporate and financial information on firms listed on the Korea Stock Exchange. A study population comprising 1,000 South Korean firms was obtained from this database. We selected 864 firms from the database, and the firms have experiences of new product development project. We collected a total of 162 responses, for a 18.8% response rate. After we excluded 14 questionnaire because of incomplete responses, a total of 148 questionnaire remained(final response rate: 17.1%).     The moderating effect of joint influences(interaction between financial rewards and creativity training) on the relationship between promotion focus creativity of marketing organization,

SPSS 18.0 and AMOS software were used in the data analysis. Results - The empirical study confirmed that promotion focus of marketing organization is positively related to creativity of marketing organization. Also, prevention focus of marketing organization is positively affected to creativity of marketing organization. In addition, the interaction between financial rewards and creativity training moderated the relationship between regularity focus(e.g.), promotion focus vs prevention focus) and creativity of marketing organization. These results suggest that managers can improve the performances of their creative efforts by providing the use of financial rewards and creativity training in combination. Conclusion - Based on results of this study that examine the effects of regulatory focused creative efforts on creativity of marketing organization, promotion focus is helpful with marketing organizations to enhance their service innovation and performance. Prevention focused organization should allow monetary rewards and creativity training to increase their creativity for innovation of new products.

주류광고, 주류 판촉 마케팅이 성인 음주폐해에 미치는 영향: 음주동기와 음주수준의 이중매개효과 (The Effect of Alcohol Advertising and Alcohol Sale Promotion Marketing Exposures on Alcohol-related Harms in Adult : Dual Mediating Effects of Drinking Motivation and Drinking Level)

  • 음주를 유발하는 사회환경요인 중 하나인 주류광고와 마케팅 규모는 매년 확대되고 있으며, 음주폐해 또한 그 심각성이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 성인 2000명을 대상으로, 주류광고, 주류 판촉마케팅 노출 경험이 음주동기, 음주수준을 매개로 음주폐해에 끼치는 영향에 대해 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 주류광고와 주류 판촉마케팅 노출 경험은 여성보다 남성이 더 높았으며, 음주동기, 음주수준, 음주폐해 또한 남성이 더 높게 나타났다. 주류광고와 주류 판촉마케팅 노출 경험은 음주폐해에 직접적으로 영향을 끼치며, 경험이 많을수록 음주폐해도 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한 음주동기와 음주수준은 주류광고와 주류 판촉마케팅의 노출 경험이 음주폐해에 끼치는 영향을 부분적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 음주폐해예방을 위해 음주 폐해를 발생시키는 사회 환경인 주류광고와 주류 판촉마케팅에 대한 규제를 강화하고 음주폐해예방을 위해 개인의 인식 개선 접근과 함께 환경적·제도적 차원에서의 개입이 유기적으로 이루어져야함을 제언하였다.
