간이화된 격자 구조 모델을 사용한 선박의 도킹 해석에 대하여 (On the Docking Analysis of Global Ship Structure Using Simplified Grillage Model)

  • This paper presents a simple and fast approach to plan the arrangement of supports and to do a ship docking analysis. The unpredicted structural damages often happen from a docking works as the size of ships are getting larger and larger. In docking a ship, excessive reaction forces from supports are primary causes of the structural damage. The grillage analysis method is employed to simply calculate only the reaction forces at supports. The grillage modeling strategies are proposed to improve the accuracy. In this paper, the results obtained by the proposed approach are compared with those of the current whole-ship FEA for typical types of ships. Comparison shows that the results from the present grillage approaches are reasonably in a good agreement with the 3-D full F.E one. Finally, an integrated program developed for the ship docking analysis is described.

생태형 해양스포츠의 체육교육 적용을 위한 지식구조; 배구형 게임과 수영을 중심으로 (A Knowledge Structure for Physical Education Application of Ecological Marine Sports; Focusing on Volleyball Games and Swimming )

  • 이 연구는 생태형 해양스포츠의 체육교육 적용을 위한 지식구조를 구성하는 것에 목적이 있다. 구체적인 종목으로는 배구형 게임인 비치발리볼과 바다수영이 설정되었으며 연구수행을 위하여 지식구조 분석틀을 활용하였다. 연구의 타당성을 확보하기 위하여 전문가협의를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2022개정 체육과 교육과정 시안에 기반한 지식구조를 마련하였다. 둘째, 생태형 해양스포츠의 체육수업 적용 기반을 마련하였다.셋째, 비치발리볼의 지식·이해 영역, 과정·기능 영역, 가치·태도 영역의 학습 내용을 제안하였다. 넷째, 바다수영의 지식·이해 영역, 과정·기능 영역, 가치·태도 영역의 학습 내용을 제안하였다. 이 연구는 향후 도입될 2022개정 체육과 교육과정의 실현된 모습을 미리 대비하였다는 것에 의미가 있다.

형상변경에 의한 최적구조변경법 (The optimum structural modification by shape changes)

  • In this study, the optimum structural modification of the L-type structure by shape changes is suggested. The vibration characteristics of L-type structure are analyzed by the sub-structure synthesis method, and the coordinte sensitivities of each sub-structure are calculated and the change quantities of the positions to be modified are suggested by using the coordinate sensitivities. The results obtained are as follows : 1. The sensitivities of the natural frequency could be calculated by the sensitivity analysis. 2. The change quantities of the position to be modified could be suggested by the optimum structural modification method. 3. The developed program could reduce the process and time of computation, since the sensitivity was directly calculated by differential method, not finite difference method.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the cause of new curriculum which has always problems even though it is revised repeatedly and to propose an fundamental alternatives to solve these problems. In this study, the cause of these problems considered the wrong point grasping the knowledge of curriculum contents. In other words, the knowledge of curriculum contents is understood as the point of utility rather than the curriculum are constructed as the form reflecting nature of knowledge. According to do this, Bruner's structure of knowledge is of help. The structure of knowledge which is well known existing is understood as manifest aspect but from now on, we have to be concerned about tacit aspect. In this case, the structure of knowledge has characteristics as an integrated knowledge.

  • In this paper, overall planning and design procedure for the marine transportation are examined. For this purpose, marine transportation analysis for the North Nemba deck structure has been carried out. The results of analysis with the rigid barge transportation are compared to those with the barge considering its flexibility. The environmental conditions, especially waves, are shown to be the most important factor which affected on the structural strength, deformation and fatigue damage.

  • Turret mooring type Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) is designed to rotate the hull around a turret system. The system is mounted inside a cylindrical moon-pool structure of the ship hull structure. The upper part of the moon-pool structure called Bogie Support Structure (BSS) is supported on ring type rail structure (bogie), so high roundness is required at the top of the structure. In this study, the deformation measured during BSS installation was compared with the predicted values through the thermal elasto-plastic analysis, and the causes of deformation were analyzed. Deformation behavior of cylindrical structure with a very large diameter compared to the thickness was investigated. In addition, a proper welding sequence and correction method for the deformed structure were proposed. This study can be an example of the solution to the tolerance problem of large cylindrical structures.

유체-구조 연성 문제의 형상 최적설계 (Shape Design Optimization of Fluid-Structure Interaction Problems)

  • A coupled variational equation for fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problems is derived from a steady state Navier-Stokes equation for incompressible Newtonian fluid and an equilibrium equation for geometrically nonlinear structures. For a fully coupled FSI formulation, between fluid and structures, a traction continuity condition is considered at interfaces where a no-slip condition is imposed. Under total Lagrange formulation in the structural domain, finite rotations are well described by using the second Piola-Kirchhoff stress and Green-Lagrange strain tensors. An adjoint shape design sensitivity analysis (DSA) method based on material derivative approach is applied to the FSI problem to develop a shape design optimization method. Demonstrating some numerical examples, the accuracy and efficiency of the developed DSA method is verified in comparison with finite difference sensitivity. Also, for the FSI problems, a shape design optimization is performed to obtain a maximal stiffness structure satisfying an allowable volume constraint.

수중 구조물 검사를 위한 ROV 시스템 설계 연구 (A Basic Study of ROV System Design for Underwater Structure Inspection)

  • Recently, various tries to apply ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) into underwater are being developed. However, due to underwater environment uniqueness, the additional problem must be taken into account when designing an ROV for the inspection of the underwater structure. This is because a GPS-based information method cannot be applied, and the obtainable image is also dependent on the turbidity. Also, it is necessary to be able to satisfy waterproof and operating speeds in consideration of most practical application environments. This paper describes the design results of the ROV system for underwater structure inspection considering the above problems. The designed system applied INS / DVL for location recognition and was configured to support 3D mapping and stereo camera-based image information using sonar depending on visibility. To satisfy the waterproof, a pressure vessel using a composite material was applied. And over-actuated system using eight thrusters to maintain a stable posture and operating speed was applied also. The designed system was verified by structural analysis and flow analysis also.

Gametogenic Cycle and Fine Structure of Ripe Germ Cells in the Pacific Oyster, Crassostrea gigas on the South Coast of Korea

  • The gonadal development and the gametogenic cycle and the fine structure of ripe germ cells of the cultured Pacific oyster, Crassostrea gigas were investigated using oysters monthly collected from the southern coast of Korea from October 2000 to September 2001. Monthly changes in the condition index were similar to that of meat weight rate and the highest value was observed in between April and May, and the lowest value in August. The external colors of the testis and the ovary were milky white and yellowish, respectively. The spawning period of the Pacific oyster was continued from May to September, with a peak in July. The gametogenic cycle could be classified into five successive stages: multiplicative stage (December to March), growing stage (March and April), mature stage (April to June), spawning stage (June to August) and resting stage (August to January). Variety of egg yolk granules, lipid granules, mitochondria, and endoplasmic reticula were observed in cytoplasm of ripe oocyte. The spermatozoon consisted of the head, middle piece and tail; including cap-shaped acrosome with domed structure, elliptical shaped nucleus, four mitochondria, two centrioles and flagellum.
