  • High-density temperature and salinity profiles from the successful international Argo project made it possible to reproduce the three-dimensional global ocean state in near-real time, which also increased much attention on the data analysis studies of global ocean. This paper reviewed several important issues on the recent data analysis studies such as systematic biases of XBT (eXpendable BathyThermograph) and Argo data, sea level budget discrepancy between steric height and satellite observed data, heat content change, and the current status of the development of objective analysis fields. This study also emphasized that it is required to carry out very cautious ocean data quality control and understand global-scale ocean variability prior to analyzing the regional-scale ocean climate change, particularly, in the East Asian marginal Seas.

  • This study was performed to investigate the adequacy of dietary fat and protein intakes among female college students. Daily intakes of energy, fat, protein, major amino acids and other nutrients were measured in 52 female college students. Daily energy intake was 75.8% of the recommended intake. Fat and protein consist 19.2% and 16.7% of the total calorie, respectively. The average protein consumption per day was 105% of the recommended intake. Essential amino acids intakes were more than the recommended amounts which appears in the 6th edition of Recommended Dietary Allowances for Koreans. However, when the intake of each essential amino acid was compared to the recommended amino acid requirement pattern, these subjects did not meet the estimated requirements. There was a highly significant correlation between daily protein intake and lipid intake implying the major sources of protein in the diet were also major sources of fat. Daily intakes of dietary fiber, vitamin C, iron, and phosphorous were above the recommended levels of intake. However, blood hemoglobin concentration was marginal indicating dietary iron consumption is not a good marker for iron status. Also, calcium intake was only 63.5% of the recommended intake. Therefore, these results imply that main problems for these subjects are low energy consumption, low calcium intake, and the quality of protein. However, as opposed to the hypothesis, the main energy sources were not the food items high in saturated fats such as instant foods, which should be emphasized further.

  • Sub Saharan Africa (SSA) is receiving increased investments in the energy sector under the belt and road initiative (BRI) project since its inception in 2013. SSA has a worse energy efficiency ratio coupled with deficient electricity access, through analysis showed varied impacts on the SSA countries due to the BRI initiative. This study dilves into the influencing factors for Energy Efficiency (EE) in 38 SSA countries, applying the probit and logit approach for 2000-2018. The Multiple-regression model shows significant results of some variables such as foreign direct investment, gross domestic product, and port infrastructure quality being significant on EE under BRI initiative countries. However, the logit and probit models produce similar results and the marginal effect for the entire variable, except energy imports that do not likely impact EE. Furthermore, the interaction of quality of port infrastructure and foreign direct investment variables produces significant results, highlighting the increased investments SSA receives under the BRI initiative in the energy and transport sectors. The model Percent correctly predicted (PCP) value was about 84%, indicating it correctly classified the variables and about 16% not classified. The study recommends EE performance standards should be incorporated on energy projects in SSA to ensure that these projects are energy efficient and decouple SSA's energy demand from economic growth. The research proffers suggestions for policy regarding the BRI initiative in SSA and the implications on sustainable energy and building a community with a shared future.

  • Ameloblastoma is the most common benign odontogenic tumor, with approximately 80% arising in the mandible and the remainder in the maxilla. However, the infratemporal fossa is a rare site in which ameloblastomas occur. Although malignant transformations or metastasizing processes are extremely rare, tumor recurrence is common, if the tumor is not completely resected. Because reoperation could deteriorate quality of life in the patients and increase surgical morbidity, radical surgery is often recommended to minimize recurrence rates. In this report, we presented our experience of resection of ameloblastoma in the left infratemporal fossa with sufficient safe margin through a lower cheek flap approach and marginal mandibulectomy.

  • The National Rental Houring has been built for solving the lack of house for the low-income group. However the national rental housing that the low-income group didn't feel aliention' we should improve the quality of National Rental housing. The purpose of this study aims to identify the facts for improving the social integra as the preference of Rental lived in Gwangju. The findings are as follows. The residents had marginal characteristics such as low income, the aged and were satisfied with the residential environment so they want to stay there as long as they can. However, they were dissatisfied with the scale of housing, housing facilities. Therefore, It is important to improve housing condition witch they enhance their self existence.

  • Morphology is one of important issues when developing a layer of CVD-W. we need to control the process more precisely that is filling gaps between BL(bit line)and DC(direct contact). Whereas we are facing to difficulties like not-filling contacts due to marginal problems in deposition and etching process. This paper is for investigating a method to resolve morphology problem with strengthening the condition of seasoning.

  • After a gastrectomy, various forms of postgastrectomy syndrome may happen, such as dumping syndrome, reflux $^{\wedge}esophagitis$, afferent loop syndrome, marginal ulcer, anemia, etc. These can cause some problems in the quality of life for post-gastrectomy patients. This oriental medicine treatment was designed to improve digestion and relieve symptoms, correct imbalance and prevent relapse in each case. This study suggests a level of efficacy of oriental medicine(Samryungbaekchul-san, Bobi-tang) in treating postgastrectomy syndrome.

  • The inclusion of crude ginger rhizome (zingiber officinale) extract at 0.5 to 1.0% (v/w) in the marination of marginally acceptable lean beef improved meat tenderness by 20-30% in the absence of 2% salt and by 35-45% in the presence of 2% salt. Ginger extract also retarded the development of rancidity and increased shelf-life of precooked lean beef two-fold in saran-wrap (no vacuum) storage at $4^{\circ}C$. Ginger rhizome improves the palatability and acceptability of lean beef from carcasses of marginal quality. It is particularly beneficial for the preparation of pre-cooked ready-to-eat beef products that are not vacuum-packaged.

  • The author has studied comparatively the sealing quality of conventional Z.O.E. cement, chloropercha and FR cement by means of penetration of 2% methylene blue solution through the apex of human teeth in 112 cases as the time elapsed. The results were as follows; 1. All the specimen, of which dye immersion time is three days, showed dye penetration of low degree unrelated to the kinds of root canal cement and the degree of dye penetration was increased as the time elapsed. 2. Of all the experimental group, the Z.O.E. cement group showed the lowest degree of dye penetration and the FR filling group showed the highest degree of dye penetration. 3. The degree of dye penetration of FR cement group was higher than that of the Z.O.E. cement group but lower than that of the chloropercha group.

  • I. Objectives Newly all-in-one adhesives were developed for reducing the techique sensitivity and chair time, but lots of concerns were made on bondability, longevity, and microleakage. The object of this study was to measure micro leakage and marginal quality of all-in-one adhesives using electrochemical method and SEM analysis quantitatively. II. Materials and Methods After making Class V cavities, they were bulk filled with Heliomolar(#A1) after surface treatment with three adhesives:Adper Prompt (Group 1), One up bond F (Group 2), Xeno III(Group 3).(omitted)
