최근 지리정보분야의 표준화 기구인 OGC(OpenGIS Consortium)는 GML과 같은 지리정보 부호화에 대한 표준 연구와 더불어 이를 적용한 지도, 영상 등의 지리데이터의 주석에 관한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 지리데이터의 주석은 지리데이터에 대한 이해 및 의사 결정.교환이 필요한 분야에서 다양하게 활용되어질 수 있다. 예를 들면 관광분야에서 여행지도에 중요 관광코스를 심벌로 표시하거나 구체적인 설명을 텍스트로 나타내는 것이다. 본 연구는 이러한 주석의 기능을 국가수치지도에 활용하기 위한 방안을 제시하고 이를 구현하였다. 먼저 국가수치지도 포맷에 잘 부합할 수 있도록 만든 OGC의 주석 스키마의 수정안과 이를 포함한 GML 응용 스키마의 생성 방법을 제안하였다. 그리고 주석 활용 결과를 가시화하기 위해 주석되어진 지도 인스턴스 문서를 XSLT와 VML을 이용하여 VML 문서로 변환하였다. 향후에는 DXF 포맷뿐만 아니라 다양한 수치지도 포맷을 지원할 수 있도록 연구가 필요하며, 지방자치단체에서 전개하고 있는 UIS에서 지도의 요소(Entity)를 갱신할 경우 주석을 통해 이력을 관리하는 것과 같은 실제적 측면에서도 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

The amount of damages caused by natural hazards is consistently growing due to the unusual weather and extreme events. At the same time, property damage by natural hazards is rapidly increasing as well. Hence, we need systematic anti-disaster activities and consulting that can react to such a situation. To address these needs, we investigated and analyzed insured claim payouts from natural hazards by administrative area, and calculate the risk index utilizing GIS. According to the index, this map is identifying the areas of greatest natural hazard risk. The ranking of natural disaster vulnerability based on the risk index, and risk grades were divided into five based on the ranking. This map integrates the natural hazard losses to assist in comprehensive and effective loss prevention activities using analysis of regional loss claims from natural hazards. Moreover, this map can be as utilized as loss mitigation and prevention activities to verify the distribution of exposure and hazards.

The purpose of this study is to help out the settlement of the Green Map in Korea, and to suggest how to map, and help community people and environmental planner systematically take care of their own towns. This study is also to introduce the green mapping and its usefulness, based on the Green Map Movement, which originated from Net York City and has been expanding through the World. Environmental elements shown on the Green map vary between countries and for the Seocho-Gu Green Map, we have decided to indicate the places that we are proud of, and dishonored of. Especially, this paper is focused on finding the hidden environmental resources in our daily lives. Seocho-Gu, one of 25 self-governmental resources. Since the citizens and government officials are open-minded in their environments, it is a suitable area to start the first Green Map in Korea. As a method of locating the environmental resources, the "Foot Sensing Method" by which residents directly research, is the main difference from typical maps by the "Remote Sensing" which focused on the variety participation of the residents such as questionnaires, investigation with youth volunteers, users interviews which may be more meaningful than the Green Map itself. The purpose of application plan is to preserve the environmental resources through the smooth feedback with the residents. Thus, it must be acted as a opening window linking them with the local circumstances. In line with this, this study proposed the trial-version Web Green Map and Green tour plan. Recently, a need for an environmental map has been reflected in the environmental policies of Seoul Metropolitan City, and it is in place now. If environmental experts of different disciplines use the Green Map for landscape architecture, design, and city planning, it will help them make a better understanding of the needs of the community and to practice the user-centered design. Eventually, the Seocho-Gu Green Map will help its residents, tourists, government, and environmental planners continue establishing the healthy city environments. It is expected that the green map will be employed as a useful method for establishing healthy city and town through right way of use and contents.of use and contents.

Recent Internet Service Environment has been moved to provide geographic information based on location as well as existent various information. In this paper, we develop an integrated software connecting GIS information to Internet. In the other hand, in GIS S/W, it is important that rapid output of Digital Map and effective trnasmission of specified Digital Map about moving area. To achieve the purpose, we propose a reduced digital format to diminish original digital maps. Also, we develop a GIS-based software engine with functions connecting location information to URL as well as map viewer and map handling. Futhermore, our developed GIS S/W is based Module in LBS application using GPS sensor.

The Z-map model which is quite similar to the non-parametric patch is widely used to describe the shape of a surface because of its simplicity. Despite the inherent advantage of z-map model. it has drawbacks that there exists difficulty in expressing the vertical walls and its related contact treatment method. In the region of vertical walls, there is a convergence problem in searching the contact point. In this study a contact point finding scheme is presented, based on the z value of the z-map model on the sheet normal direction. To show the utility of this scheme a compared with the experimental results. The effects of the Z-map grid distances and the interpolations of the inside Z-map value are also discussed.

이 연구의 목적은 산림기능평가를 위한 의사결정지원도구로서의 GIS 응용모델을 개발하는데 있다. 여기서 산림기능평가는 산림이 지니고 있는 기능별 잠재력을 평가하거나 산림에 대해 기능을 부여하는 것을 의미한다. 분석대상 산림기능은 목재생산 수자원 함양 산지재해방지 산림휴양 생활환경보전 자연환경보전기능이며, 이러한 산림의 기능을 평가하기 위해 개발된 GIS 응용모델은 개별 산림기능의 잠재력 평가와 기능별 우선순위 설정에 따른 산림기능의 구분이 가능한 모델로 다양한 분석환경을 고려하여 적용성 검토를 하였다. 산림기능평가를 위한 인자들은 이미 전국 단위로 수치도면화된 지형도 임상도 입지도 산림이용기본도와 기타 자체구축한 제재소위치도 고속도로 IC위치도 전국인구분포도의 공간자료, 그리고 인구 및 강수량의 속성자료 이용을 통해 도출되었다. 개발된 GIS 응용모델을 이용하여 산림기능평가를 수행한 결과, 도엽 및 영림구 단위 대상지 모두 평가체계에 따라 효율적인 산림기능평가가 이루어졌다.

최근 교육현장에서 학습에 모바일을 사용하고자 하는 아이디어는 모바일의 이동성, 현장성, 휴대성, 시성, 학습정보 접근의 용이성이라는 장점에서부터 시작된다. 특히 안드로이드폰에서 구글맵 API와 GPS를 기반으로 현재 위치의 정보(지리 및 문화관련 사진과 텍스트 등)를 공유할 수 있는 본 연구의 애플리케이션은 이러한 장점들을 적극적으로 활용한 것이며 교실밖에서, 또 정규수업 이후에도 활용할 수 있어서 지속적인 학습 자원의 관리와 자기 주도적 학습의 가능성을 열어두고 있기에 더욱 효과적이라고 할 수 있다.

Rural landscape is an outcome of residents' life activity based on natural environment. Unlike city, rural residents make their own landscape over a period of time interacting with nature through cultivating and building houses and huts based on the background. Therefore, residents' role in rural area is of greater importance than city's and their recognition of landscape is a key factor to evaluate and manage rural landscape. Landscape Evaluation Map which utilizing Feeling Map method is a evaluation tool to [md out residents' recognition of landscape. In this tool, responses evaluate landscape around their living space and mark color dots which mean landscape grade on a map. This research is to examine effectiveness and applicability of the tool, Landscape Evaluation Map, which is recommended to estimate residents' evaluation of landscape. Through analyzing 7 cases of field application, the effectiveness of Landscape Evaluation Map has been verified and also demerits have been drawn. After modifying detailed techniques and developing resident education, Landscape evaluation map could be applied to [md out landscape resources rather than to evaluate whole rural landscape.

창의성이 강조되는 교육환경에서 사고의 범위를 넓힐 수 있는 그룹별 토론이나 창의성을 개발하기 위한 컴퓨터활용 수업 모형이 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 그룹별 컴퓨터활용 교육에서 발생하는 문제점들을 사전 조사한 후 창의성을 고려한 웹 기반 수업 모형을 제안하였다. 수업 모형의 이론적 배경으로는 PBL을 기반으로 하였으며 웹 마인드 맵을 토론과 자료공유를 위한 도구로 활용하여 수업의 효율성과 함께 집단의 창의성도 함께 고려하였다. 제안한 수업 모형을 프레젠테이션 제작 과목을 신청한 학생들에게 적용한 결과 의사소통이나 자료공유, 역할분담, 기여도의 차이, 과다 시간 소요 등에 대한 불만이 줄어드는 확률적으로 유의미한 결과가 나타났다.
