The result shows that IT boosts communication skills, thus creates a mutual relationship outcome. In the same context, the process of knowledge conversion by Nonaka's SECI model simplifies to an Externalization-Internalization process. This process accelerates the birth of explicit knowledge and Socialization, supplements the Limitations of the creation of knowledge in the E-I cycle. The E of knowledge simultaneously promotes the I, and eventually brings an advanced learning skill. IT aids the E of knowledge and furthermore, I and E activity, through the knowledge sharing, brings vitality into an organization. The interplay stage for knowledge activity is to be reorganized to a cyber ba. Furthermore, IT will galvanize the formation of core knowledge through systemized acquisition, management of core knowledge and standardization of work.

  • Purpose: Blunt injury accounts for 80-95% of renal injury trauma in the United States. The majority of blunt renal injuries are low grade and 80-85% of these injuries can be managed conservatively. However, there is a debate on the management of patients with high-grade renal injury. We reviewed our experience of renal trauma at our trauma center to assess management strategy for high-grade blunt renal injury. Methods: We reviewed blunt renal injury cases admitted at a single trauma center between August 2007 and December 2015. Computed tomography (CT) scan was used to diagnose renal injuries and high-grade (according to the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma [AAST] organ injury scale III-V) renal injury patients were included in the analysis. Results: During the eight-year study period, there were 62 AAST grade III-V patients. 5 cases underwent nephrectomy and 57 underwent non-operative management (NOM). There was no difference in outcome between the operative group and the NOM group. In the NOM group, 24 cases underwent angioembolization with a 91% success rate. The Incidence of urological complications correlated with increasing grade. Conclusions: Conservative management of high-grade blunt renal injury was considered preferable to operative management, with an increased renal salvage rate. However, high-grade injuries have higher complication rates, and therefore, close observation is recommended after conservative management.

  • With the foundation of the WTO in 1995, the era of boundless and unlimited competition between many of the countries around the world has begun. In order to elevate the competitiveness in the international market, we have incorporated the QMS and the EMS system, establish by the International Standardization Organization, and the process has been operated under the authorization. However, many Korea companies' separate enforcement of the QMS and the EMS system is causing the dissipation of the labor force and the invested capital. As we can see through studying the contents on this paper, the number of documents has been reduced down to 54% (From 139 of them to 64 of them), and the conflict and the chaos that could have happened between the documents has been prevented. Its' outcome is attributed to the foundation and the embarkation on the Integrated Management Systems of the KS, QMS, and EMS. Not only that, it has also reduced the waste elements up to greater than 40%.

  • Even though, many enterprises began to use management information system, they were not able to attain remarkable outcome. Thus, a purpose for this research is to explore effect that characteristics of information technology and executive support have on its user's confrontation In order to verify this purpose, we selected Nong-hyup's CRM as an object for a proof of effect that characteristics of information technology and executive support have on its user's confrontation. According to this research's conclusion, characteristics of information systems have notable influence on user's confrontation, while executive support did not have significant influence on it. Yet, this research has its limits by considering characteristics of information technology and support from board of directors as only variables among many other possible reasons for user's confrontation. Thus, in the future, there should be another research that considers more various reasons for user's confrontation.

  • Social networking services provide individuals with an easy approach for exchanging messages with others based on interpersonal relationships. However, why individuals spread marketer-generated content (MGC) in their online social circles remains unclear. Therefore, we develop a theoretical model to examine how social capital, intrinsic motivations, personal perceptions, past behavior, and personal traits influence MGC sharing behavior of social media users in micro-blogging context. Data collected from 319 social networking users support the proposed model. The results from partial least squares analyses show that enjoyment, perceived control, and outcome expectations are significant indicators of individual's MGC sharing intention in the social broadcasting environment. Results also suggest that social capital, users' intention, and past behavior positively influence the MGC sharing behavior of users. Moreover, individual prevention pride exhibits a significant interaction effect on the relationships between users' MGC sharing and its antecedents. Implications for research and practice are discussed.

  • The influencing factors of large-scale IT investment decisions are rarely investigated in an empirical perspective. We find out different behaviors in IT investment decisions according to the size of organization. Large scale IT-investment decisions (e.g. system downsizing) can be the outcome of decision-makers' motivation to adopt and control new IT systems- However, this phenomenon is salient in the large-sized organization rather than small-sized ones. Based on our investigation, we predict general IT decision-making behaviors in organizations when making IT investment decisions.
