  • The Research of local governments in addressing climate change policy formulation and enforcement role in the formulation of local governments, and faithful to the role of local governments when addressing climate change to policy issues and is aimed to provide direction. The role of local governments' Star Statement by looking at best practices, through which more realistic and effective climate change response measures would be able to set aside. Local party organizations in addressing climate change and understanding the role and establishment and enforcement of the policy must be balanced community and residents more comfortable and be able to provide a comfortable life.

신뢰도가 낮은 네트워크 환경을 위한 트리 구조 기반의 권한 관리 기법 (Privilege Management Technique for Unreliable Network Environments based on Tree Structure)

  • ISO/IEC 9594-8은 공개키 인증서 프레임워크와 속성 인증서 프레임워크를 정의하고 있다. 속성 인증서 프레임워크에서 권한 관리 기반 구조(PMI)를 다루고 있다. 권한 관리 기반 구조에서는 권한 관리를 위하여 속성 인증서를 사용함에 있어서 권한의 할당 및 명세를 독립적으로 하기 위하여 역할 할당 인증서와 역할 명세 인증서를 사용한다. 역할 명세 인증서는 권한의 명세를 포함하며, 네트워크 환경의 권한 관리를 위한 내용을 담고 있다. 신뢰도가 낮은 네트워크 환경의 권한 관리는 잠재적으로 장애가능성이 있는 노드와 에지를 포함하는 환경에서 권한 정보 전송의 신뢰성과 효율성을 얻고자하는 것이다. 각 노드는 수집된 역할 명세 관계 정보를 기반으로 하여 계층적으로 연결된 역할 명세의 권한 구조 트리를 구성한다. 본 논문에서는 역할 명세 인증서의 트리 구조화를 통한 권한 관리 비용을 계산하고 권한의 생산 및 갱신에 따른 오버헤드를 줄이도록 한다. 규모 확장성을 위해 멀티캐스팅 패킷을 사용하며, 네트워크 통신의 패킷 손실률과 네트워크에 참가 및 이탈을 반복하는 컴퓨팅 노드의 신뢰도를 감안하여 관련 성능을 분석하여, 제안된 구조의 권한 관리 기법이 보다 나은 성능을 가짐을 보인다.

'Health Policy and Management' has been undertaking the role of an academic society in health policy. 'Health Policy and Management' will strengthen its role in health policy.

  • Purpose: This study proposes a model for future research agendas on knowledge management activities as a source of increasing sustainable competitive advantage. Based on the literature, the role of knowledge management in sustainable competitive advantage does not necessarily have a significant effect but involves other variables. For this reason, future research proposals on the role of knowledge management on sustainable competitive advantage and other relevant variables need to be carried out. Research design, data, and methodology: This research uses a literature study. The model development stage is (1) relevant research studies, (2) identification of relevant theories and related variables, (3) developing and making a hypothesis (4) proposed model. Results: From the literature study, it was found that knowledge management plays a role in increasing managerial competence, market orientation, and innovation. Furthermore, managerial competence, market orientation, and innovation significantly affect sustainable competitive advantage. However, other studies have found a different relationship. Conclusions: This study proposes a research model on the role of knowledge management, managerial competence, market orientation, and innovation to improve sustainable competitive advantage. The study results can be used for further research based on the proposed model and as a reference for company owners and management to increase competitive advantage.

  • Referral marketing plays an important role in promoting new products. When it comes to innovative agricultural products, early adopter's review or recommendation has a more critical impact on follower's purchase decision making. Hence, understanding of consumer's characteristics and needs play more important role in success of innovation. More particularly, other researchers pay attention to the role of consumer innovativeness. This study attempts to fill this gap in knowledge between innovative propensity of consumer and her/his intention to generate positive word of mouth about new agricultural products. Furthermore, in this paper, we adopt Vandecasteele and Geunes' motivated consumer innovativeness model to investigate consumer innovativeness in extrinsic motive and intrinsic motive level, and examine the moderating role of referral efficacy. For empirical verification, survey method is used for data collection. Partial least square (PLS) is adopted to analyze the data. Finally, several theoretical contributions and practical implications are discussed.

Does Talent Management Affect Employee Performance?: The Moderating Role of Work Engagement

  • The study aims to examine the relationship between talent management and work engagement and its impact on nurses' performance in Indonesia. This study is also intended to understand the role of work engagement in moderating talent management and employee performance. This present study applied a quantitative method using path analysis to investigate the relationship between variables and the primary role of work engagement. The participants of the study were nurses both in privates and public hospitals in Indonesia, with a total of 376 respondents. Closed questionnaires were processed in this study with a Likert scale with five choices ranging from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). The questionnaires were entirely collected over almost five months using Google form. The results of the study confirmed that the nurse performance, both at government and private hospitals, are categorized as good, while the work engagement and talent management are also categorized as high. The findings confirmed that talent management positively influences work involvement and employee performance. In addition, this study suggests that work engagement plays an essential role in moderating between variables and provides a confirmation of the important role of talent management and work engagement for nurses' performance.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the degree of socialization of household work and to analyze the influence of demographic and psycho-social variable on socialization of household work. For the purpose of this study, questionnaires were administrated to 314 housewives in Pusan. For the statistical analysis were as follows; 1)The degree of socialization in the domain of food showed significant difference by number of family, number of children, housewife's age, housewife's education, husband's education, income and sex-role attitude. The degree of socialization in the domain of housing showed significant difference by family pattern, housewife's education, husband's education, state of housewife employment. husband's occupation , income and sex-role attitude. The degree of socialization in the domain of clothing showed significant difference by housewife's age, housewife's education, husband's education , state of housewife employment. husband's occupation, income and sex-role attitude. The degree of socialization in the domain of family management showed significant difference by number of children, housewife's age. state of housewife employment, income, period of marriage life and sex-role attitude. The degree of socialization in the domain of home management showed significant difference by housewife's education, husband's occupation, sex-role attitude and share of household work. 2) The socialization in the domain of food was influenced husband's education, income, housewife's education and sex-role attitude. The socialization in the domain of housing was influenced husband's education, income, housewife's occupation and sex-role attitude. The socialization in the domain of clothing was influenced husband's education, income. housewife's occupation and sex-role attitude. The socialization in the domain of family management was influenced husband's education, shave of household work. and sex-role attitude. A Role-driven Security and Access Control Model for Secured Business Process Management Systems

  • This paper formally defines a role-driven security and access control model of a business process in order eventually to provide a theoretical basis for realizing the secured business process management systems. That is, we propose a graphical representation and formal description of the mechanism that generates a set of role-driven security and access control models from a business process modeled by the information control net(ICN) modeling methodology that is a typical business process modeling approach for defining and specifying business processes. Based upon the mechanism, we are able to design and accomplish a secured business process management system that provides an unified resource access control mechanism of the business process management engine domain's and the application domain's. Finally, we strongly believe that the secured access control policies from the role-driven security and access control model can be easily transformed into the RBAC(Role-based Access Control) model that is a standardized security technology for computer and communications systems of commercial and civilian government organizations.

  • The purpose of this research is to identify a mediating effect of change management activity(CMA) on the relationships between the role of participants of ERP implementation and system performance. In this paper the role of participants are composed of top's management, user's participation, project manager's skill. Also this research organized ERP system performance into the three dimensions(adaptation to the end-user's ERP system, system usage, individual's performance). The major results of this research can be summarized as follow; project manager's role, top management's involvement, and users' participation in ERP project directly affect CMA of system implementation process and have influence system performance through CMA too. CMA also has a positive effect on a series of system performance, that is, adaptation to the end-user's ERP system, system usage, and individual's performance. In conclusion, the role of participants have an considerable influence upon system performance through CMA. This research makes certain that a mediating effect of CMA between the role of participants and system performance exists. Therefore, the companies implementing ERP must consider CMA.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study to determine the effect of distribution transformational and transactional project manager leadership style on the extra-role performance of project team members using multi-level modelling analysis. Research design, data and methodology: The role of psychological factors as the mediating variable namely is self-efficacy in the effect of project manager's leadership style on the project team members' performance was also studied using the Monte Carlo bootstrapping method. The sample of the study consisting of 370 project team members from 74 contractors registered with the Construction Industry Development Board in the Klang Valley was selected using a simple random sampling and a survey using a questionnaire. Results: The findings showed that the transformational leadership of project managers was a dominant predictor of extra-role performance of project team members. Furthermore, the study show the self-efficacy of project team members acted as a mediator in the relationship between transformational and transactional leadership of project manager leadership on the extra-role performance of project team members. Conclusions: The findings are expected to be used by the relevant parties in planning, arranging and implementing efforts to improve the work performance and ensure that projects are implemented according to the specified specifications.
