This paper delves into philosophical aspects of institutional household(IH) study. The paper argues that it is also necessary to investigate theoretical, methodological, and philosophical issues, not only prescriptive, practical, and managerial ones, in order to establish a field of study as an independent area of academic discipline. In that sense the paper is expected to contribute to the establishment of "the science of IH" as well as the growth of knowledge in that field. For philosophical discussions, the paper first reviews overall sub-fields of philosophy of science such as ontology, epistemology, methodology, and the debate on human nature. Then, it focuses on philosophical issues relating to the nature of IH including (1) the substance of institutional household as scientific investigation, (2) the epistemological basis of IH study, (3) the possibility of normal methodology in studying IH, (4) the values that IH ought to pursue, and (5) the rationale and autonomy of IH study. In the conclusion section, the paper discusses why the study on philosophical aspects in IH is critical in academic community of family resource management.anagement.

Objectives : As the management philosophy of hospital social responsibility is diversified, we systematically reviewed the literature to apply ISO 26000 to the monitoring of social responsibility activities in accordance with social needs and changes. Methods : PubMed Database, NDSL and RISS were searched for articles related to CSR based on ISO 26000. The articles were classified according to aims, methods and results. Results : There is a lack of research and development of the CSR tools of hospitals, including human rights, labor practices, and consumer issues, which are parts of the seven key topics of ISO 26000. Conclusions : Based on ISO 26000 as an international standard for social responsibility activities, it is necessary to develop a measurement tool for social responsibility activities that reflects legal and institutional situations of Korean hospitals.

System risk is the totality of all safety risks to customers, employees, suppliers, and other third parties that arise due to system operations. To assess the risk of major hazards with the potential to cause fatality to the customers and other members of the public, quantitative risk assessment methodologies are used. This paper presents the general principles of risk based management approach to improve the safety of high risk systems such as aviation, railway, and nuclear power plants. For the suitable risk control arrangement, case studies of acceptable risk level, risk rating matrix, and safety management philosophy are presented.

According to the Gartner Group, the market for ERP software in Korea is growing rapidly. However, the number of successful ERP implementations is quite few. Standard(unmodified) ERP's are built based on best practices. Improvements expected from successful implementation are based on best practices built into the software. Many improvements are lost through modification to "standard" software. Even minor changes in software can significantly reduce benefits. Both implementation time and risk factors are increased with modifications. We introduce a methodology, called package Enable Re-engineering (PER) and the main components of change management program by Ernst & Young. "To-Be" model could be developed through the software capabilities. And change management processes such as continuous education and self-developments are required. The philosophy of the change management processes is to let the software package drive the re-engineering practices and avoid moving the software toward the "As-IS" process. Extensive top management involvement, major focus on speed, extensive communication program, and "clear" picture of the future are essential components of change management. We are sure that the complied experiences and model have implications for practice and for academicians for their endeavors in their fields.

Total Quality Management(TQM) is the source of competitive advantage for the enterprise faced with the dynamic change of the environment as the customer satisfaction era, unlike the past marketing era. It can have an effect on the strategical choice of the enterprise and becomes a new spotlight of management strategy in business administration recently with various techniques of organizational innovation, such as business re-engineering, benchmarking and so on. The TQM which has an essential part of a Risk Response Process is recognized as strategic aspects in Risk Management. TQM means the total management system that realizes management philosophy of customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and innovational thoughts on the basis of top-management＇s leadership and employees＇ involvement, policy of quality management, customer focus, development of human resources, empowered work forces, and supplier relationships. The data investigating the business performance effect of active factors in TQM based on the shipping firms were collected from 250 shipping firms in Korea by the use of questionnaire method and personal interviews at the selected samples.

Based on the abovementioned shift in the management paradigm, the researcher investigates and analyzes actual cases of attempts by Samsung Electronics to achieve its social impacts and studies actual roles and approaches of in-house designers with creativity and insights of humanity with regard to these attempts. Each case is selected from various fields such as the company's products and service development, business systems, culture, and external strategies and the ultimate goal is to learn about actual insights and approaches of designers to make contributions to the company's management with social impacts. Especially, humanity and creative thinking of many designers working in the manufacturing industry can have significant contributions to achieving its management with social impacts and effects of sustainable management.

The northeastern Pacific and eastern Bering Sea supports large and divers finfish and shellfish compelxes. The North Pacific fishing grounds are largest fish production total 30.89 percent of the world in 1983. Recent action by the around countries extending their fisheies jurisdiction to 200 mile has provided a new environment. The new approch to fisheries management has resulted in an arormous expansion in tile demand for scientific information. These are no longer limited to biological concerns. Emphasis has been focused recently on the need to understand the economic, social, politics and philosophy characteristics of a fishing and how they will be affected by management decisions. The horizontal management and portfolio management for fisheries has increased interest in complex biological models and the coupling of these models with economic, politics and phyisophy components. Successful completion of this task will require and expanded understanding of oceanographic, biological, economic, social, politics and philosophic process associated with fisheries. Particular attention should be devoted to acquiring information an data processing for Korean trawl fishery, stock assessment in the areas. The need for international collaboration in management must be stressed. Some northeast Pacific and eastern Bering Sea fish stock migrate over long distances and political boundaries. Further, nearly all the fish stocks are harvested by several nations. The features require cooperation and coordination of research activities. The horizontal management will be made a way these activities for the around countries in the sea. This study aimed to explore the plausible application of Coaching in the major of family resource management. For this purpose, first, this study reviewed the historical background of the coaching. In the contents, the concepts and principles of coaching were identified. Second, The recent application of coaching to the various areas such as finns, centers, occupation and the academical fields in Korea as well other countries were investigated. Finally, this study connected the nature and emphasis of the family resource management with the philosophy of coaching, which focuses on the internal strength of his/their own change and development in an/a individual/organization. Also, the process of family resource management and coaching models which were regarded as the similar ones in the phases consisted of situation perception, exploring alternatives, planning, implementing and feedback. On the basis of these contexts, this study suggested the plausible classes applied coaching which are able to be introduced in the under-graduated and graduated courses.
