A Systematic Wealth Management Framework (SWMF) was developed as a private banking management tool to enable more integrative personal finance management of personal wealth. It is a reference model that provides an unified framework for development, operation, and management and makes provision for personal financial services in today's complex financial environment. This study suggested some practical results from banks and insurance companies that have established SWMF as the differentiation business strategy for wealthy customers. The focus of this manuscript is on capturing the methodological approach most financial institutions in Korea adopted to execute new e-finance planning and implementation based on the SWMF. The alignment between the wealth management business goals and information system architecture at an organization constitutes the main theoretical basis of the study. Relevant discussions are made on the wealth management framework as a general business model for financial industry, on the functional relationship between new information systems and business organizations. Finally, lessons learned from the SWMF implementation are discussed.

A new model management framework is proposed to accommodate wide-spreading algebraic modeling languages (AMLs), and to facilitate a full range of model manipulation functions. To incorporate different modeling conventions of the leading AMLs (AMPL, GAMS, and SML) homogeneously, generic model concepts are introduced as a conceptual basis and are embodied by the structural and operational constructs of an Object-Oriented Database Management System(ODBMS), enabling the framework to consolidate components of DSSs(database, modelbase, and associated solvers) in a single formalism effectively. Empowered by a database query language, the new model management framework can provide uniform model management commands to models represented in different AMLs, and effectively facilitate integration of the DSS components. A prototype system of the framework has been developed on a commercial ODBMS, ObjectStore, and a C++ programming language.

Due to various project delivery methods and the complexity of construction projects in the construction industry, developing the framework of construction management for critical, highly complex projects in the construction industry has become problematic. Currently, a set of construction manuals play a pivotal role in planning and managing construction projects as subcontractors try to complete their scope of work according to the instructions of a general contractor. It is challenging for general contractors to write a construction management procedure manual to cover various types of project delivery methods and construction projects. In construction, the construction procedure manuals describe specific actions to be taken through the project. In reality a few contactors own such manuals and their construction schedules include more construction operation activities. Thus, it is hard to estimate the workload and productivity of construction managers because the manual and the schedule do not present the amount of management efforts required to complete a project. This paper proposes a framework to present construction management tasks according to project delivery methods which can be applied to various construction projects. Actions for management tasks were mapped and were integrated with construction activities throughout the project life cycle. The framework can then be used to give specific instructions to project participants, collect management actions, and replicate management actions throughout the project life cycle. The framework can also be can used to visualize complete construction project to analyze and manage construction management activities in each phase of a project in order to enhance productivity and efficiency. The studies of existing construction manuals were carried out to identify construction managers' responsibilities. An artificial intelligence program, CLIPS (C-Language Integrated Production System) was used to search for appropriate actions for impending tasks from a set of predefined actions to be performed for a given situation. The framework would significantly help construction managers to understand interrelations among management tasks or actions within a project. Furthermore, the framework can be embedded into Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Facility Management Systems (FMS) so that designers and constructors would execute constructability review before construction begins.

This paper presents a theoretical research framework that was used to analyse operational risk management (ORM) system practices in Australia. It provides a new perspective on how to use national and international operational management system standards as a basis for systematic management of operational risks. Based on the extensive literature review and the analysis of operational risk management system practices that are common in Australian organisations, this paper identifies the critical factors for effective use of an ORM system. The proposed framework could also be used as a model to research ORM system applications in other countries.

The management system was designed based on the existing research results and domestic and foreign cases of public service standardization, targeting the entire public service.

Recently, several attempts have been made to introduce the process concept to knowledge management (KM) or the knowledge concept to business process management (BPM) in order to combine the advantages of the two approaches. However, clear description about their interrelationship or a comprehensive framework to combine them has not been provided. This paper explores how KM and BPM can complement each other and proposes a framework to integrate the two paradigms. The concept of process knowledge proposed by this paper focuses on the importance of business processes as knowledge, which is overlooked by existing KM or BPM research efforts. The paper proposes a framework that combines and extends the functionalities of existing knowledge management systems (KMSs) and business process management systems (BPMSs) by identifying the functionalities required to manage process knowledge from the lifecycle perspective of both knowledge management and business process management. A prototype system is also presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed framework.

연구목적: 본 연구는 기후변화에 따른 재난의 특성을 분석하여 기후위험에 대비하기 위한 관리체계를 제시함을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 최근 국내외 자연재난으로 인한 피해의 추이를 분석하고 기후변화에 따른 재난의 특성을 파악함으로써 기후위험을 위한 관리체계를 설계한다. 연구결과: 기후변화에 따른 위험의 불확실성과 다양한 규모의 재난을 고려할 때, 위험의 평가에서부터 목표 설정, 계획 수립, 모니터링 및 평가, 학습과 조정 등의 핵심과정을 포함하는 포괄적 기후위험 관리체계가 요구되며, 이는 이해관계자 참여를 바탕으로 지속적으로 반복되는 체계를 의미한다. 결론: 본 연구에서 제시한 포괄적 기후위험 관리체계를 효과적으로 추진하기 위해 시범사업을 통해 관리체계를 수정 및 보완하고, 필요한 제도적 여건을 마련해야 한다.

This paper provides a study on the application and proposals of safety culture, new public management and social amplification of risk framework via ship accidents in Korea. This document analyzes what are the concept of safety culture, new public management as well as social amplification and risk framework and describes how 3 issues act, harmonize, interrelate through M/V Sewol accident. Korean government is needed to apply social amplification of risk framework to the in order to promote the safety culture in the maritime administration. Hence, this paper proposes safety framework in order to prevent and resolve future unexpected accident especially for maritime field.

정보화 사회는 컴퓨터 및 통신이 발달하여 데이터를 수동으로 관리하기 어려운 정도로 데이터양이 방대해져서 데이터 관리에 어려움을 느끼고, 자연재해 및 해커의 공격 등으로 인해 데이터 손실, 서비스 이용 불가 등 다양한 IT 관련 보안사고가 발생하여 이를 원래대로 복구하기 위한 정보보호 관리체계가 필요하다. 정보보호 관리체계는 다양한 프레임워크들이 존재하는데, IT재해에 의해서 발생한 피해를 복구하기 위한 프레임워크는 Cyber Security Framework, Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT 5.0이 존재하며, 각각의 프레임워크들 중에서 IT재해복구에 해당하는 항목들을 비교분석하고, IT재해가 발생한 경우 신속하게 해결하기 위한 하나의 통합적인 관리 방안에 대해 설명한다.
