현재 RFID 기술을 이용한 항만의 관리 시스템은 점차 그 분야를 확대해가고 있다. 기존의 센서 기술이 물적 자원을 관리하기 위한 용도였다면, 이제는 인원관리를 위한 분야로 확대되고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 항만 내 작업인원에 대하여 여러 대역의 RFID 태그와 다양한 디자인의 태그를 소지하게 하여, RFID 리더를 통해 위치 정보를 수집하여 모니터링 하고 그 특성을 조사 분석하였다.

A 45-year-old man presented with fatigue and weight loss underwent a Tc-99m MDP bone scan because of increased serum alkaline phosphatase. Delayed images at 4 hours demonstrated diffuse increased activity throughout both lobes of the thyroid in the absence of activity of the stomach and salivary glands. Thyroid laboratory indices and a Tc-99m pertechnetate thyroid scan suggested Graves' hyperthyroidism.

Cyanides and Hydrogen cyanide are used in production of chemicals, electroplating, photographic development, making plastics, fumigating ships, and some mining processes. We experienced of Hydrogen cyanide inhalation injury. A 45-year-old man worked at electroplating. As soon as he mixed sodium cyanide with acid, cyanide produced hydrogen cyanide, occasionally he inhaled Hydrogen cyanide and he lost his consciousness. He was moved to near hospital and took emergency treatment and then was transferred to our hospital. On arrival he had severe dyspnea, metabolic acidosis, and tachycardia. After he was treated with supportive method he recovered his consciousness in 20 hours at emergency room.

This paper presents an implementation of a multi-channel speech surveillance system over telephone lines using TMS320C31 DSP chips. The incoming speech into each telephone line are first compressed simultaneously in real-time by the popular vector-sum excited linear predictive (VSELP) speech coding algorithm at the rate of 8 Kbps. The compressed steech bit streams are then multiplexed with those of other users. The multiplexed speech bit streams are transferred to the system storage equipments with some other required information so that a system operator can later monitor the stored speech data whenever it is necessary. The host program runs under Microsoft Windows95 for an efficient man-machine interface and a future upgrade-ability. We have confirmed that the overall 64-channel system operates satisfactorily in realtime. We also have checked approximately up to 2,880 total hours of recording capability of the system on a playback module and two removable backup drives.

A 57-year-old man presented to the outpatient department with sudden bilateral hearing loss. The otological examination suggested bilateral severe sensorineural hearing loss. After several hours, the patient complained of a headache and became drowsy. The brain computed tomography showed a $3{\times}4\;cm$ intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) of the left temporal lobe. Surgery was performed and 34 days after the procedure the patient was discharged from the hospital with severe bilateral sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL). Temporal lobe ICH should be considered in the differential diagnosis of patients with sudden bilateral hearing loss, regardless of the other neurological symptoms.

A grid generation algorithm associated with turbomachinery cascade flow fields has been developed. The present grid generation system consists of four separate modules. The system input is made of the results of the preliminary design, i.e., flow-path, aerodynamic conditions along the spanwise direction, and the blade profile data. The grid generation method generates a series of two-dimensional grids in the blade-to-blade passage to build up the three-¬dimensional grid, The numerical algorithm adopts the combination of the algebraic and elliptic method to create the internal grids efficiently and quickly. The resultant grids generated from each module of the system are used as the preprocessor for the performance prediction of the turbomachinery blade using Naveir-Stokes method in addition to the blade surface modelling for CAD data. For purposes of illustration, the grid generation system is applied to several complex geometries inculding a turbine rotor with and without a tip flow grid. Application to the blade design of the LP compressor was demonstrated to be very reliable and practical in support of design activities. This customized system are coupled strongly with the design procedure and reduces the man-hours required to predict the aerodynamic performance of the turbomachinery cascades using the CFD technique.

Fully digital controlled 20-bit magnet power supplies have been developed and successfully tested for closed orbit correction of PLS(Pohang Light Source). The new digital power supply has used fiber optics for 25kHz switching of IGBT drivers, and implemented DSP, ADC, Interlock, DCCT cards in a compact 3U-sized 19" chassis. Input/Output low-pass filters suppress harmonics of 60Hz line frequency and switching frequency noise effectively. Overall performance of the power supplies have been demonstrated as +/- 2ppm short-term stability(<1 min), and +/- 10ppm long-term stability(<36 hours). All the existing 12-bit 70 power supplies for vertical correction magnets will be replaced with new digital power supplies during 2005 summer shutdown period. In this paper, we will describe the hardware structure and control method of the digital power supply and the experimental results will be shown.

Welding-induced buckling distortion at the free edge of thin-plated panels has been studied. Welding distortion at free edges causes the additional man hours to straighten for the easy adjusting works of the following assembly stage. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a free-edge distortion control method. It is the purpose in the study to evaluate the effectiveness of buckling distortion prevention of the current design practice and design modification.

A 20-year-old man underwent a Tc-99m HMPAO labeled leukocyte scan for the evaluation of an infection at the stump of an AK amputation, which was conducted due to an open communicated fracture of the left lower leg. Blood-flow and blood-pool images demonstrated a pseudoaneurysm with a focus of intense activity medial to the stump, and centered within a large photopenic defect by surrounding hematoma. Delayed image obtained at 3 hours post-injection showed persistent intense and slight increased activity, Contrast angiography confirmed the presence of a pseudoaneurysm arising from a branch of the left superficial femoral artery.

SIMOX SOI structures were formed by oxygen ion implantation with a dose of 2 1018 ions/cm2 at 180kev and post-implantation annealing at $1250^{\circ}C$ for 6 hours in nitrogen ambient. The oxygen redistribution process during post-implantation annealing was examined by AES and TEM. The electrical property of the structure was investigated by SRP method. We could find oxygen precipitates in SOI layer was discussed. And the limiting factor to the decrease of the precipitates during post-implantation annealing was discussed also.
