The relationship between architects and users has been multifarioiusly changed through architectural history. From the viewpoint of using a building, users who experience and interpret the building are as important as architects who design it. In the past, architects are not interested in the role of users. Modern architects only emphasized the concepts of users based on efficiency, and therefore users had the passive role following the design intentions in the space architects had created. However, since the end of modern movement, diverse definitions of users have been attempted. Especially the aesthetics of reception reilluminates the role of users neglected in modern movement. Therefore the one-way relationship between architects-buildings are changing into the interactive relationship between architects-buildings-users, and it results from the fact that users have the ability to reinterpret and create architectural space as well. Users have more creative and positive role in architectural space making and architects, too, reflect these trend in their architecture.

The mixed-use building is certainly one of the significant alternatives for urban dwelling based on the over-crowded urban condition as well as the ever-changing contemporary life patterns. It is clear that residential and other programs somehow are becoming more separated in most high quality mixed-use buildings in Seoul. Thus making the space between residential and other programs where diverse multi activities can be inserted is extremely important in terms of bridging the different urban programs. This research aims to briefly analyze the mixed-use programs in contemporary cities and case projects to see how they respond to unique characteristics of each projects by creating different mixed zones and spaces.

A web-based program life-cycle management(PLM) system is introduced to implement the system engineering processes and to provide the development traceability online. This information system aims for the realization of essential system engineering management techniques currently applied to the space launch system development program including management of configuration and data based on the work breakdown structure(WBS), WBS, bill of materials and mass properties. The system enhances communication and gives access to the development data with relevant information such as data-to-data relation and approval status/history through the web, and preserve all of the development data throughout the program life-cycle. Further improvement of the system is planned to implement the program management processes and co provide integrated information useful for the programmatic decision making.

Recently a construction industry introduces information technology that brings about many advantages in the early planning phase, design phase and construction phase. The purpose of this study is to find out organizing strategy of de-composition works in modern plastic arts. Through investigating the development process of De Stijl painters and Rietveld's early works and analyzing the composition and disposition type of elements such as point, line, plane, color in the selected works, we can draw some conclusions. First, Rietveld pursues the dissolution of traditional volume and the de-composition of elements as Mondrian does through crossing-connection of three listels with quadrangular section. Second, Rietveld reorganized de-composition elements with detached lines and color planes. Third, Rietveld experimented possibility of new plastic space through displacing elements, opening space, making anti-gravity space.

The purpose of this study was for analysis of ease about basic bodice pattern, as the first step of the research process for the drawing method of basic bodice for women in their twenties. The five selected basic bodice were made and they were worn by FRP body The garment space of each bodice was measured by analysis of the garment space of each section in figure of polymerization of cross section by a 3-D measuring instrument. The research suggests that this compared analysis is an objective reference. This analysis not only of the area of cross section of garment space and ease but also of the girth of the body shape and wearing shape, using the PAD system and 3-D measuring instrument, can be helpful in making garment patterns.

This research studies in the field of domestic fires are an issue in many scientific fire research as a research method to validate the domestic environment and ISO-9705 housing on the basis of experiments in virtual space by making a single fire compartment space for conducting experiments and Appearance of a fire occurring within each flammable Heat Release Rate analysis was carried out mainly. Placed within the space of one flammable HRR calculated as the sum of the number of single-room fire experiments conducted and the results compared with the value in comparing the conduct of fire locations and fire load within the building area of the future, the HRR value represents the change in domestic a consideration of the safety of the building is to propose matters.

In the paper, a method making use of the characteristics of Dyad Green Function (DGF) and Fluctuation-Dissipation Theorem to get the brightness temperature of layered medium is introduced. Based on the approach and the measured data of multi-channel radiometer and Least Square Method (LSM), the thickness of lunar soil can be retrieved. These methods are significant to study on materials on lunar surface.
