A binaural filtering method using HRTF DB is generally used to make the headphone-based 3D sound. But it can make some confusion between front and back directions or between up and down directions due to the non-individual HRTF depending on each listener. To reduce the confusion of sound image localization, we propose a new method to boost the spectral cue by modifying HRTF spectra with spectrum difference between front and back directions. Informal listening tests show that the proposed method improves the front-back sound localization characteristics much better than the conventional methods

In this paper we make a rule of pitch variation for a natural synthetic female voice. Intonation phrase, which is the basic unit the rule is applied to, mostly consists of a syllable or syllables. The pitch values of the first, second, and final syllables make up the pitch contour of the intonation phrase. Those of the first and second syllable are determined by the initial consonants of the respective syllables, and that of the final syllable by the type of the function word. There are two kinds of boundaries between intonation phrases. One is a boundary with pause, and the other is a boundary without pause. The pitch contour of the intonation phrase with the boundary phenomena determines the pitch pattern of a sentence.

Because of the changes of a variety of aspects of disease theory alternative to standard medicine, demand for traditional medicine has increased. This study was undertaken to grasp and compare traditional-medicine administrative structure, functions and role between Korea and China. According to our research, both nations promote policy related to traditional-medicine, yet there are various differences because of each nation's scale, political structure, medical system, etc. Especially, compare to the Korean government, the Chinese government not only has paid more attention to traditional medicine but also established and promoted a synthesis development strategy for a long time. Additionally, there is weakness in Korea's traditional medicine policy compared to the Chinese's Synthetic development-strategy, which is the Oriental-policy Department and Korea Food&Drug administration. Therefore, to make up for the weakness, they will have to organize their role better and make a long-term development-strategy plan for traditional medicine.

Tourist Information Center has been played an important part of role in the promotion of tourism for both inbound and domestic market. The purpose of this paper is to examine the situation of our tourist information centers in context with information and personnel service. As a result we suggested some findings. According to studies, tourism information provided by TIC is critical and decisive for specific travel type and leisure travelers visit TIC more often than the other types of travelers. The specific aspects of tourism information is accuracy and currency which based on the characteristics of intangibility and perishability. According to this encouragement tourism information system should have to shifted to internet basis. This movement enabled tourism industry to make the atmosphere for portal or hub site for the effective operation of this system. The regionally networked system can make it possible to cope with some characteristics of tourism products. Reservations and information retrievals are major function of portal site. The data from suppliers (hotels, restaurants, event organizers, transportation, attractions etc) must be up-dated, controled by regional TIC and the connections should be extended among the regional TICs.

Recently the number of women's hospitals of a small scale are increasing in seoul and the other cities although the surroundings of these sites are so inferior. Those hospitals need the space of comfort as like family home. This study suggests that the encirclement space is one of the design methods to make comfort to patients. The encirclement is the form of hugging a baby to a mother's arms. Analysing six woman hospitals, encirclement space is categorized about the six types of square, open square, right-angled, linear, dispersed, etc. The characteristics of "right-angled" is featured as the form of L, and "square" type is characterized as the relationship of functional circulation among doctors, nurses and patients. And all types are organized as the relationship between the encirclement space and the enclosed space about how the functional space and the comfort space are made up. The properties of encirclement space are appeared by the interactions about function, circulation, sight, form, access, recognition through transparent, three-dimensional experience, etc. Encirclement space is recommended as a vital factor to make comfort space for designing women's hospital in city.

This study aims to examine similarities and differences of each e-B/L types as well as identify problems of e-B/L utilization and directions for improvement. Especially, it suggests strategies for the realization of e-B/L through reviewing and analyzing commercial types of e-B/L, which have been developed so far. Although e-B/L succeeded in realizing the function as a certificate of title and its distribution value, it has not been fully implemented due to operational problems. Subsequently, e-B/L was realized in the Bolero project as an attempt of system to make up for shortcomings in the failure of previous e-B/L types, but it has still a number of problems. To solve this problem and make use of e-B/L more efficiently, this study focuses on the specific ways to introduce e-B/L and suggest directions for the development of e-Nego system. Preparation of electronic documents is a prerequisite for the development of the e-Nego system, taking distribution of electronic documents into consideration. Next, compatibility of electronic documentation and paper-based documents should be realized, with the guarantee of authenticity of electronic documents.

This study is about saliva from a GIGONG's point of view, it's importance, and it's funtion that recently medical world proved. And here is GIGONG training with saliva. The results were summarized as follows. 1. It is detected that saliva have function to prevent symptoms of senility and have effect of an $anti{\sim}cancer$ medically in recent years. So it is said that science proved narrowly that so called a predecessor speak of salive interms of high praise and they already experienced. 2. Similar substance to saliva exist in human body besides nature food, but human body have materials that deal with all situation to occur from every kind of environment and disease. And exactly saliva is an example of it. 3. We cannot turn back sweat, blood, tears and sperm again that is out of human body once, but we can swallow again only saliva. Therefore, we must experience training that swallow saliva to make us healthy by ourselves, and we don't have to commit a foolish act to cough up saliva at random that a predecessor speak of in terms of high praise, and to be second to JUNG(精). 4. Saliva is a kind of antibody or hormone, so I think that we need to make a study of using saliva with a GUIGONG that is an example of way to strengthen immunity of human body.

This study aims to provide architectural basis of the new space planning in university library and anticipate direction in future. This study is to analyze the spatial transition in the existing facility, based on field observation of the domestic university library and on theoretical data from the related article. The result that include a transition of the existing facility and the present is as following as below. 1) Spatial transitions by networking are making specific system room. The minimum area of this specific system room is 33.95$m^2$. 2) Spatial transition by information service is forming computer room. the minimum area of a environmental carrel, which is possibly located to computer room, is 2.98~3.42$m^2$. 3) Spatial transition by spreading multimedia information is to make the multimedia information is to make the multimedia room. It is necessary to independent, flexibility, and extensionable space. 4) Library interior spatial transition by developing information technology is prospected that in case of reading room, office enlarge the scale, in case of stack decrease the scale. The university library must be kept up their function and also be functioned as electronic library which serve new information.

Tongue diagnosis is a profound and special part of the whole Oriental Medicine. We examined the method, the principle and the meaning of tongue diagnosis according to a literature cited, considered a meaning of tongue diagnosis. As a result, we come to a conclusion like that. 1. Tongue is related with internal organs by meridian system, especially has a direct connection with heart and spleen. 2. The heart, a master of internal organs, has its specific opening in the tongue. The spleen, source of nutrients for growth and development, has its specific body opening in the mouth. So tongue reflects states of internal organs, Qi, blood, the constructive energy and the defensive energy. 3. When doing tongue diagnosis, we must pay attention to the position and the order of inspection of the tongue. We must diagnose by referring to a ray of light, diet, season, age, physical constitution, habit and taste, can make a accurate diagnosis. 4. We can classify constitutions, distinguish syndromes, suppose prognosis, make a prescription by using tongue diagnosis. 5. Reddened tip of the tongue represents flaring-up of the heart fire, and it means psychologic stress. Dental identations on the tongue edges represents deficiency of Qi of the spleen, and it means physiologic fatigue. 6. Through observing humidity of fur of the tongue, we can guess psychologic stress and physiologic fatigue. Through observing thickness of fur of the tongue, we can guess function of spleen and stomach.
