노후 회주철 수도용 제수밸브의 구조적 안전성 평가 (Structural safety evaluation of decrepit gray cast iron water valves for the control of water supply)

  • In this study, we collect water control valves that have had accidents due to existing cracks, etc. are collected, and propose investigation items for strengthening the valve structural safety evaluation through a series of analyzes from valve specifications to physicochemical properties are proposed. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was a large variation in the thickness of the body or flange of the valves to be investigated, which is considered to be very important factor, because it may affect the safety of the valve body against internal pressure and the flange connected with the bolt nut. Second, 60% of the valves under investigation had many voids in the valve body and flange, etc. and the decrease in thickness due to corrosion was relatively large on the inner surface in contact with water rather than the outer surface. It is judged that the investigation of depth included voids is very important factor. Third, all valves to be investigated are made of gray cast iron foam, and therefore it is judged that there is no major problem in chemical composition. It is judged that the chemical composition should be investigated. Fourth, as a physical investigation item, the analysis of metal morphology structure seems to be a very important factor for nodular cast iron from rather than a gray cast iron foam water valve with a flake structure. As it was found to be 46.7~68.8% of the standard recommended by KS, it could have a direct effect on damage such as cracks, and therefore it is judged that the evaluation of tensile strength is very important in evaluating the safety of the valve.

  • There are many reasons of damage in Namhansanseong Yeojang. Lots of damage types are observed in each Yeojang. There are many types of damage factors but major damage factor is breakage by freezing and thawing. So Conduct non-destructive evaluation about damage factors in Namhansanseong Yeojang to analysis weathering factors in Yeojang by measuring directional microclimate. The study will pave the way for conservation management in Namhansanseong by suggesting the conservation calendar about weather condition and damage factors.

현대패션에 나타난 주황색 이미지(제l보) (Orange Image on the Modern Fashion(Part I))

  • The purpose of the study is to clarify orange image in the modern fashion. So kinds of costume sample being visual power in orange have been selected from photographs in fashion magazines and divided into the tones : mist(Vp, Lgr, L), bright(P, B), vivid(S, V, Dp). The study was measured by using 27 semantic differential hi-polar scales. The subjects were 50 female students majoring in clothing and textiles, The data was analyzed using the statistical SPSS package. The data were collected using self-administred questionnaires and analyzed by Cronbach $\alpha$, Factor analysis, MDS, ANOVA Sheff test and Regression analysis. The major findings of this research were as follows. 1. Factor analysis has extracted 4 factors of orange image in the fashion. These factor are Attractiveness, Audacity, Hardness and Softness, Cuteness. 2. There were significant difference in visual evaluation of tones. 3. The discrimination among tones was related to cuteness and weight of orange. 4. The image effect on Preference, Buying needs, Pleasant and Riches was consist of complicated sensibility.

AHP를 활용한 기술이전 측정항목 중요도에 관한 연구 -국공립연구소 및 국립대학기술을 도입한 기업을 대상으로- (An Analysis on the Important Weight of Evaluation Items in Technology Transfer using AHP)

  • 최근 국공립연구소 및 국립대학에서 기업으로 기술이 이전되는 현상이 점차 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 기업 입장에서 기술이전의 주요 평가지표를 파악하고 이 평가지표의 중요도를 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)를 이용하여 파악하고자 한다. 먼저, 선행연구와 전문가 면접을 통해 기술이전과 관련된 12개의 주요 항목이 추출되었으며, 요인분석을 통해 이들 12개 항목들을 기술요인, 조직요인, 환경요인, 전략요인의 4요인으로 분류하였다. AHP 분석결과, 전략요인이 가장 중요한 요인으로, 그 하위항목인 '기술분야의 성장성'이 가장 중요한 항목으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 국공립연구소 및 국립대학의 연구자들이 다른 기업으로의 기술이전을 고려한 기술개발을 모색 시, 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

백화점의 서비스에 대한 품질측정과 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Quality Measurement and Customer Satisfaction in Department Store Service)

  • Department store service is undergoing a rapidly changing social phenomena that is, the qualitative evaluation is getting more attention than the quantitative evaluation. Therefore, in this study, a standard has been prepared according to a service quality evaluation and the result has been analyzed to prepare major points for quality improvement. The differences in perception between department store consumers and department store employees were verified based on these factor categories. Also an attempt was made to reveal the relationship between satisfaction and service quality. When considering all the results of this study, the department store consumers and the department store employees perceived service quality differently from each other. The result is that the characteristics of the users and the suppliers reflect exactly as they are because of the characteristic of the distribution environment.

Evaluation Metrics for Class Hierarchy in Object-Oriented Databases: Concurrency Control Perspectives

  • Object-oriented databases (OODBs) have been adopted for managing non-standard applications such as computer-aided design (CAD), office document management and many multimedia applications. One of the major characteristics of OODBs is class hierarchy where a subclass is allowed to inherit the definitions defined on its superclasses. In this paper, I present the evaluation metrics for class hierarchy quality in OODBs. These metrics are developed to determine if a concurrency control scheme can achieve good performance or not on a given class hierarchy. I first discuss the existing concurrency control schemes for OODBs. Then I provide evaluation metrics based on structural information and access frequency information in class hierarchies. In order to discuss significance of the proposed performance metrics, an analytical model is developed. Analysis results show that the performance metrics are important factor in concurrency control performance. I consider both single inheritance and multiple inheritance. The proposed metrics can be used to provide guidelines on how to design class hierarchy of an OODB for maximizing the performance of concurrency control technique.

스크롤압축기용 오일레스 베어링의 신뢰성 평가 (Reliability Evaluation of Oilless Bearing for Scroll Compressor)

  • The life of oilless bearing affects the durability of scroll compressor. The main shaft of the scroll compressor is supported by oiiless bearing. Some of the major parameters which influence the life of oilless bearing are rotational speed, normal load, environment of refrigerant and oil film thickness. The reliability evaluation of oiiless bearing is performed through the acceleration life test for reduction of experimental time and costs. In this study, the experimental and computational investigations were performed to verify the effects of various parameters on the life of oilless bearing. The acceleration factor was achieved with the lubrication analysis between the scroll compressor and the developed reliability tester. the expected life of oilless bearing was guaranteed by reliability evaluation accompanied with the acceleration life test.

원전 배관의 반복 측정 데이터에 대한 신뢰도 분석 방법 (Reliability Analysis Method for Repeated UT Measurement Data in Nuclear Power Plants)

  • Safety is a major concern in Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs). Piping systems in NPPs are very complex and composed of many components such as tees, elbows, expanders and straight pipes. The high pressure and high temperature water flows inside piping components. As high speed water flows inside piping, the pipe wall thinning occurs in various reasons such as FAC (Flow Accelerated Corrosion), LDIE (Liquid Droplet Impingement Erosion) and Flashing. To inspect the wall thinning phenomenon and protect the piping from damages, piping components are checked by UT measurement in every overhaul. During every overhaul, approximately 200~300 components (40,000~60,000 UT data) are examined in NPPs. There are some methods from EPRI for evaluating wear rate of components. However, only few studies have been conducted to find out the raw data reliability for the wear rate evaluation. Securing the reliable raw data is the key factor for a reasonable evaluation. This paper suggests the reliability analysis method for the repeatedly measured data for wear rate evaluation.

한 대학병원의 진료과별 업무성과 평가 도구 개발 과정 (Development of Performance Evaluation Protocols for Physicians in a University Hospital)

  • Background : Performance evaluation of medical care providers has become more important than before in Korea. Especially in university hospitals, job contents of medical staffs are so complicated that evaluation is not easily performed. In addition, in order that the feedback of evaluation be successful, acceptance of staffs to be evaluated is essential. This study is aimed at the development of items for evaluation and weighting of each item in one university hospital, and clustering departments by different weight given by medical staffs. Methods : Through resource group meeting. performance items were listed up by categories of education, research, medical services, and other activities in and out of the hospital. For each item, all the medical staffs were asked how important they thought, compared with publishing one original article. By factor analysis, the items in each category were grouped into a few subgroups. In turn, cluster analysis was done for the purpose of grouping departments by priority the medical staffs gave. Results and Conclusion : Among five major categories, medical staffs regard education, research, and medical services more important than other activities in and out of the hospital. Five categories consisted of two or three components. Departments in hospital were grouped into three. However, characteristics of each group was not clearly delineated. This result suggests that more comprehensive tool should be developed and applied in the process of performance evaluation in university hospitals.

베이비부머세대 근로자의 경제, 사회요인이 주관적 건강평가에 미치는 영향 -민간의료보험가입 조절효과- (The Influences of Economic, Social Factors on the Subjective Health Assessment for Baby Boomer Generation Workers -the Moderating Effect of Private Health Insurance-)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 베이비부머세대 근로자의 경제요인, 사회요인, 조절요인이 주관적 건강평가와 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악함을 목적으로 하고 있다. 2012년도 한국노동연구원에서 실시한 제4차 고령화연구패널(KLoSA) 자료를 이용하여 베이비부머세대 근로자 1,202명을 분석 대상으로 하였다. 척도로 경제요인, 사회요인을 선정하여 주관적 건강평가에 유의미한 차이가 있는지 분석하였다. 분석방법으로는 빈도분석, t-test, ANOVA, 상관관계분석, 그리고 경제요인, 사회요인이 주관적 건강평가와의 관계에 민간의료보험가입이 조절효과가 있는지 검증하기 위한 다중회귀분석(Multi Regression Analysis)을 실시하였다. 연구결과 베이비부머세대의 주관적 건강평가에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인으로는 연령, 학력, 주택소유, 친구만남, 전반적삶만족, 민간의료보험가입 등이었다. 그리고 경제요인, 사회요인이 주관적 건강평가와의 관계에서 민간의료보험가입이 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
