In this thesis, we performed research focusing on the following details: First, questions made in the information computer subject of the employment examination for the 2009 academic year were classified into each major field and the weight and distribution of marks for each field were analyzed; Second, using questionnaire, (1) the distribution of items for major fields and opinions of the verification of teacher's ability, (2) the opinions of difficulty of the examination, the allocation of time and the proportion of subject contents and subject pedagogy; and (3) the recognitions of instructor group and examinee group were examined and the results were compared and analyzed. According to the results of this study, questions were made evenly in the fields of each subject as the intention of making the questions. Also, for each result of the questions about first examination and second examination, there were not significant difference between professor group and examinee group.

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of teacher competence on subject satisfaction and career decision of college students majoring in physical education. From April 1 to April 30, 2022, samples were extracted using pur-posive sampling, which is a non-probability sampling method, for physical education majors attending universities of education in Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheong-do, and Daejeon, etc. 400 study participants were sampled and cross-analysis was performed on the final 340 participants. First, Teacher competency had a significant effect on career decision. Second, teacher competency had a significant effect on career decision. Third, teacher competency had a significant effect on career decision. Fourth, subject satisfaction had a significant effect on career decision. Fifth, a causal relationship was established between teacher competency, subject satisfaction, and career decision. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the future career decision of pre-service physical education teachers by investigating the effect of teacher competence on subject satisfaction and career decision of university students majoring in physical education.

This study compared whether there are significant differences of searching characteristics between the subject specialists and professional searchers in education in terms of internet search engines. The major findings and conclusions from the study are as follows. Subject specialists used more search terms and Boolean operators and spent more times on the computers than professional searchers. However, professional searchers retrieved more relevant documents and had higher precision ratios than subject specialists.

The objective of the study is to search for a theoretical and practical solution for the question "what is the most effective and Qualitative method of information service for the college and university libraries in Korea." Assuming the maximum service, or total service theory in information services, it needs the subject specialist who has highly qualified in his subject. This research adapted the survey method by questionnaire to the reference/information librarian who worked in college and university libraries, 159 librarians returned the questionnaires. By the analysis of this questionnaires, the following major results were found: 1. There were only 7.6% who could be called as subject specialist in Korean college and university libraries. 2. The subject specialist system is necessary to enhance the Information services in college and university libraries. 3. The major functions of subject specialists are information services In given subject fields; to prepare the bibliographies, guides, reading lists, indexes and abstracts; distribution of information and current awareness services; well balanced collection developments; liaison function between academic departments, students and faculty members; formal and informal lecture on the use of the library and the resources; and the cataloging and classification. 4. The best library and information education system is the graduate level study which is offering the M.L.S. or M.S. of library and information science with the emphasis on the study of subject background. 5. They will establish the faculty status for academic librarian by the development of subject specialist system in college and university libraries in Korea.

In today's mass production/consumption society, there are many important constituents people need to have/do for their happy life. Very few People think that among those components enjoying Pro-sports in their life is essential, and Many business companies are interested in owning/operating pro-sports teams. Thus, many studies have been progressed on sports management or sports marketing domestically and abroad. This paper studied the preference relationship between subject's majors and products/service and pro-sports. We constructed hypotheses about the relationship and tested them by using ANOVA and Tuckey tests. We found significant results that preference for coke/cider is influenced by subject's majors, and that preference for pro-baseball, pro-football, and pro-basketball is also influenced by subject's major, etc. As the results, we can have important information about who are the most important customers and who should be target customers for marketing and promotion, and with the information related business companies can attain higher profitability and less loss through more effective sports marketing.

The purpose of this study is to know recent studies about conservative treatment of osteoarthritis in knee joint. We reviewed and analyzed 71 theses published by korean research institution since 2000. These theses were classified by year, field of study and subject. The results of this study are as follows. 1. We found 24 oriental medical theses about osteoarthritis in knee joint since 2000. 2. Classified by the major field of study, the journal of korea acupuncture and moxibustion society accounted for 17 pieces in oriental medical journals. 3. In oriental medicine, the most subject is acupuncture(19 pieces). 13 pieces in it is about pharmacopuncture. 4. 47 theses are published in medical journals after 2000. 5. 35 associations dealt with this theme, the korean society of physical medicine is major. 6. Most subject is kinesitherapy, followed by pharmacotherapy, massotherapy, taping therapy, physiotherapy and insole. We found several therapies were effective through oriental and western medical theses. Combined oriental medicine and western conservative therapy like kinesitherapy make better effect on osteroarthritis of knee joint.

The purpose of this study is to inquire the building process of Pedagogical Content Knowledge of prospective mathematics teachers about the function concepts. For this purpose, We performed the following steps; First, we performed the survey relaying to the prospective mathematics teachers' teaching experiences, capabilities of their error evaluation of the students, and viewpoints about the function concepts. Second, we performed the survey on the subject-matter knowledge about the function concepts and the key items of designing teaching plans about the function concepts. And then, we interviewed the participants to check the results of the surveys and to supplement the necessary contents. The collected data was relatively correlative and analyzed in the process. As a result, we found the followings; First, subject-matter knowledge of prospective mathematics teachers about the function concepts is different depending on the grades. Second, prospective mathematics teachers are building more extended function concepts through the major subjects. Third, the major subjects are important to build the Pedagogical Content Knowledge of function concepts. Fourth, teaching experience plays an important role in transforming subject-matter knowledge of function concepts to Pedagogical Content Knowledge of it. Fifth, building the Pedagogical Content Knowledge means transferring the teacher's viewpoint from himself/herself to the learner.

The purpose of this research is to study motivation of freshmen in Environmental Education Department for choosing their major, and their environmental awareness in overall. The subject for this research is twenty freshmen, majoring Environmental Education at Korea National University of Education in 2007, and methods of the research include survey through questionnaires, reviewing literature of the field, and conference with experts in Environmental Education. After the research, six freshmen's motivation for choosing Environmental Education as their major changed positively. Awareness of the environment in residential area changed somewhat negatively, while awareness of the nation's overall environment changed positively. Subjects' recognition for the need of Environmental Education was generally negative in both the first and second surveys whereas that of sustainable society changed more remarkably throughout the surveys. Most subject thought that the most important issue Environmental teachers should teach is proper attitudes towards and reasonable actions for the environment.

This study present the standard curriculum for civil engineering considering korean education environment. The flow charts of USA's 20 universities and Korea's 6 universities are investigated. The standard curriculum are proposed based on the civil engineering curriculum of USA and Korea though analyzing of subject division, major field, and major subject. The proposed standard curriculum is expected when used to improve korean universities curriculum.

In this paper, we proposed a multi-subject-level sentiment analysis model for user reviews using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) method targeting user-generated content (UGC). Data were collected from users' online reviews of hotels in major tourist cities in the world, and 30 hotel-related topics were extracted using the entire user reviews through the LDA technique. Six major hotel-related themes (Cleanliness, Location, Rooms, Service, Sleep Quality, and Value) were selected from the extracted themes, and emotions were evaluated for sentences corresponding to six themes in each user review in the proposed sentiment analysis model. Sentiment was analyzed using a dictionary. In addition, the performance of the proposed sentiment analysis model was evaluated by comparing the emotional values for each subject in the user reviews and the detailed scores evaluated by the user directly for each hotel attribute. As a result of analyzing the values of accuracy and recall of the proposed sentiment analysis model, it was analyzed that the efficiency was high.
