이동 차량 탑재용 전자기 베어링 시스템 설계 (Design of Active Magnetic Bearing System for Moving Vehicles)

  • The active magnetic bearing (AMB) systems mounted in moving vehicles are exposed to the disturbances due to the base motion, often leading to malfunction or damage as well as inaccurate positioning of the systems. Thus, in the controller design of such AMB systems, robustness to base disturbances becomes an essential requirement. In this study, effective control schemes are proposed for the homo-polar AMB system, which uses permanent magnets for generation of bias magnetic flux, when it is subject to base motion, and its control performance is experimentally evaluated. The base motion of AMB system is modeled as the dynamic disturbances in the gravity and base excitation forces. To effectively compensate for the disturbances, the angle feed-forward controller based on the inverse dynamic model and the acceleration feed-forward controller based on the normalized filtered-X LMS algorithm are proposed. The performance test of the prototype AMB system is carried out, when the system is mounted on rate table. The experimental results show that the performance of the proposed controllers for the AMB system is satisfactory in compensating for the disturbances due to the base motion.

Modified RHKF Filter for Improved DR/GPS Navigation against Uncertain Model Dynamics

  • In this paper, an error compensation technique for a dead reckoning (DR) system using a magnetic compass module is proposed. The magnetic compass-based azimuth may include a bias that varies with location due to the surrounding magnetic sources. In this paper, the DR system is integrated with a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver using a finite impulse response (FIR) filter to reduce errors. This filter can estimate the varying bias more effectively than the conventional Kalman filter, which has an infinite impulse response structure. Moreover, the conventional receding horizon Kalman FIR (RHKF) filter is modified for application in nonlinear systems and to compensate the drawbacks of the RHKF filter. The modified RHKF filter is a novel RHKF filter scheme for nonlinear dynamics. The inverse covariance form of the linearized Kalman filter is combined with a receding horizon FIR strategy. This filter is then combined with an extended Kalman filter to enhance the convergence characteristics of the FIR filter. Also, the receding interval is extended to reduce the computational burden. The performance of the proposed DR/GPS integrated system using the modified RHKF filter is evaluated through simulation.

  • 호저에 매몰되어 있을 가능성이 있는 미폭발 매설물의 탐지를 위해 수상자력탐사를 수행하였다 자력계는 2개의 총자력계를 이용한 자력변화율측정기(magnetic gradiometer)를 사용하였으며, 수상에서의 위치 측정은 실시간 이동측량(real time kinematic survey)으로 수행하였다. 위험물의 크기를 가정하여 예상 이상반응을 계산하고 이들에 대한 탐지 가능성을 살펴보았다. 조사선의 면적이 좁아 조사선 및 자력계 외 다른 장비의 자성이 측정에 영향을 미쳤으며 이들은 조사선의 방향이 바뀜에 따라 크기의 변화가 있었다. 이들은 이동평균법에 기초하여 영향을 제거하도록 하였다. 탐사결과 호저에 매설되어 있는 관로의 노선이 파악되어 탐지능력을 간접적으로 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 위치작동기의 정밀도를 결정하는 중요한 인자인 마찰력을 없애기 위하여 자기부상을 이용한 초정밀 시스템을 설계한다. 자기부상시스템은 근본적으로 불안정한 성질을 갖고 있으므로 작동기의 안정성을 증가시킬수 있 는 자기회로설계가 종요하다. 제안된 자기부상 위치작동시스템은 전자석을 고정하고 영구자석을 움직일 수 있게하여, 간단하고 견고한 위치작동기가 설계되고록 상호간의 자기력을 이용한 Antagonistic 구조를 채택한다. 그리고 시스템의 동적모델을 구하여 안정성을 검토한다.

  • Recently in the field of precision positioning device, the contact-free actuators are gaining focuses with their outstanding performances by eliminating mechanical frictions. Th is paper is about the driving algorithm for contact-free linear actuator. The proposed driving algorithm has similar structure of drives of switched reluctance motor and reduces the normal forces and force ripple. The simulation and experiment are executed to verify the proposed method.

  • In this paper, we propose a slider servo-mechanism driven by electro-magnetic actuator to improve straightness of linear motor stages. Based on axial-position dependent deterministic characteristics of the straightness error, a feedforward compensation control is appled to reduce the straightness error. In the consideration of uncertain properties of friction and its effects on positioning accuracy, a sliding mode control is applied. The effectiveness of the suggested mechanism and the control performances are illustrated along with some experimental results.

  • This paper describes static characteristics analysis of linear pulse motor(LPM) with two permanent magnets. Linear pulse motors are finding a wide range of application for the Factory-Automation or the Office-Automation. Typically, LPM provides for a reliable and precise control of position, velocity, or acceleration without using a closed-loop system. Some of the advantages of LPMs are ease of control, step multiplication, static and dynamic positioning, and locking force. The flux density and thrust of LPM is computed by the FEM and magnetic equivalent circuits which considered the magnetic nonlinear phenomena. The result of characteristics analysis are shown as the flux, the air gap reluctance and the thrust. The velocity and position characteristics as a function of unit step input is measured. To estimate the unit step response charecteristic of LPM, the simulation results by Matlab and the experimental results is compared.

  • The problem in improving the positioning precision of a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM) is the detent force caused by the interaction of the magnets with the teeth of stator. This paper presents 3-Dimensional Equivalent Magnetic Circuit Network Method (3-D EMCN) for the analysis of PMLSM. 3-D EMCN is a numerical analysis method which supplements magnetic equivalent circuit by using numerical technique. We analyzed the fields and forces of PMLSM in case of skewed magnet and axially segmented magnet construction.

  • 선박의 방위정보를 제공하는 장비로 자이로콤파스, 마그네틱콤파스, GPS콤파스가 있으며 자동조타기에는 필수적인 요소이다. 지자기센서는 철로 제작된 선박의 구조물 등과 같은 자성물질과 파도에 의한 방위오차 변동이 심하게 나타나며 지자기 센서가 검출하는 자극은 진북 또는 남극과 일치하지 않으므로 검출되는 방위값은 필연적으로 오차를 수반할 수밖에 없다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 방위 정보의 변화에 영향을 주는 요인에 대한 방위정보의 요란에 대하여 최소변화 방위를 검색하기 위해 칼만 필터링 기법을 활용하여 각각의 단점을 보완하는 방식으로 지자기센서와 GPS수신기를 이용하여 병행알고리즘의 전자콤파스를 구현하였다.
