Current Control Circuit for Drive of Single Phase Permanent Magnet Motor Using H-Bridge (단상 영구자석 모타 구동을 위한 H-Bridge 의 전류제어회로)

  • 본문의 내용은 영구자석을 사용한 단상 브러시리스 모타의 구동을 위한 H-Brdige 구동회로에 적용된 전류제어 회로에 관한 실험결과이다. 부하전류가 목표치 이상인 경우 enable 를 차단하면 순간적으로 센서저항의 전위가 0 으로 되고 이로인해 다시 순간적으로 스위칭이 이루어 지므로 매우 빠른 주기로 스위칭을 반복한다. 이 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 래칭회로를 필요로 하는데, 본 제안에서는 두 개의 NAND GATE 와 하나의 NOT GATE, 그리고 RC network 를 조합하여 LIP-FLOP 과 시지연을 이루는 방법을 실현하였다. 이와 같은 전류제어회로는 constant off time 의 특성을 가지는데, 일반적으로 사용되는 PWM 제어회로에 비하여 매우 단순하면서도, 저항부하 및 모타부하에 대해 공히 능동적으로 작동함을 입증하고 있다. 본문에서는 제안된 전류제한회로의 구조와 H-bridge 구동모드, 그리고 전기적 특성에 대한 연구결과를 설명한다.

Analysis of Single Phase Skeleton Type BLOC Motor (단상 Skeleton type BLOC 모터의 특성해석)

  • An analysis of the skeleton type BLDC motor is presented. The single phase skeleton type BLDC motor consists of the stator, rotor with the permanent magnet, and drive circuit with hall sensors that detect the rotor position. The major factors for the initial starting, efficiency, and torque ripples of the skeleton type BLDC motor are the detent groove of the stator and the lead angle of the phase voltage. The performance characteristics according to the angle and height of the detent groove is analyzed. The optimum lead angles of the phase voltage with the torque ripple and motor efficiency is described using the finite element method.

  • BLDCM(Brushless D.C. Motor) is widely used industrial application because of high efficiency and high power density. Especially, In servo system and home appliance, BLDCM is very useful due to high control performance and low acoustic noise. In this paper, 2.5HP rated BLDCM controller and drive was developed for tread mill application. The prototype BLDCM has 4 poles rotor and 24 slots stator. Ferrite was used as a rotor magnet due to the cost and temperature characteristic. For the stable operation of tread mill, over current and high temperature can be detected by the DSP control1er. For the commutation signal, switching patterns from the sensorless circuit and hall sensor signal are used in the DSP controller.

  • This paper presents the characteristic analysis by changing the shape and position of auxiliary pole core for Automotive stater motor. The brush contact resistance and mechanical loss calculated from the experimental data are used in characteristic analysis. The Finite Element Analysis Method(FEM) and 3D Equivalent Magnet Circuit Network(EMCN) are used for analysis. The validity of the proposed methods are verified by comparison of analysis results and experimental ones.

  • 마그네트 보호회로는 초전도 마그네트 제작에 반드시 필요한 부분이다. 초전도 마그네트에 치가 발생하였을 때, 보호회로는 빠른 사고전류의 소비를 유도하여 마그네트를 보호할 뿐 아니라, HTC current lead를 보호하는 역할을 하게 된다. 여러 가지 타입의 보호회로 중 다이오드를 이용한 보호회로를 제작하기 위하여, 다이오드에 대한 예비실험을 수행하였다. 실험값을 근거로 결정된 다이오드를 이용하여 보호회로를 제작하고 이를 마그네트에 부착하여 실험하였으며, 만족할만한 결과를 얻게 되었다.

  • Pneumatic servo valve is an electro-mechanical device which change electric signals to a proper pneumatic signals, that is, flowrate and pressure. In this study, a pneumatic servo valve was designed and each simulation was conducted on any variation in the flowrate depending upon the magnetic force of the linear force motor and the displacement of the spool. And permanent magnet was used as a material for the plunger of the servo valve. Thereby, a low electrical power consumption type coil was desinged. And a modeling for the coil design was conducted by using the magnetic circuit. also, the feasibility of the modeling was verified by using a commercial magnetic field analysis program. The designed and fabrication of the spool and sleeve, position sensor, servo controller and the dynamic characteristic verified by the experiment.

On the Voltage-Based Control of Robot Manipulators

  • This paper presents a novel approach for controlling electrically driven robot manipulators based on voltage control. The voltage-based control is preferred comparing to torque-based control. This approach is robust in the presence of manipulator uncertainties since it is free of the manipulator model. The control law is very simple, fast response, efficient, robust, and can be used for high-speed tracking purposes. The feedback linearization is applied on the electrical equations of the dc motors to cancel the current terms which transfer all manipulator dynamics to the electrical circuit of motor. The control system is simulated for position control of the PUMA 560 robot driven by permanent magnet dc motors.

  • LPM is a characterized motor to reciprocate linear motion for the office automation(OA), the factory automation(FA) and the field of information instruments because it can generate direct drive without any mechanical converter. For the design and analysis of permanent magnet type linear, pulse motor, it is therefore necessary to investigate the characteristics of magnetic flux distribution, static and dynamic thrust force, normal force, etc, by analyzing its magnetic circuit. This paper describes various useful methods for improving the characteristics of LPM. And these method is adopted on the PM and flat type, double side 2-phase 8-pole LPM.

  • A discontinuity of magnetic circuits according to the end effect is generated in PMLSM. And magnetic state of the 3 phase coils becomes unbalanced. Due to the unbalanced magnetic state, the unbalanced flux linkage, back electro-magnetic force and inductance of the 3 phase coils appear. In result, the circulating current is generated by unbalanced inductance even if the input voltages are in balanced state. Then the thrust and efficiency are decreased because of the circulating current. Therefore, in this paper, the unbalanced inductance and the thrust reduction according to discontinuity of magnetic circuits are analyzed by FEA(2D). To demonstrate the validity of the analysis results, the experiment results are compared with analysis results.

  • 최근 들어 디지털 제품의 급증으로 인해 직류를 사용하는 부하가 증가하고, 직류 배전망에 대한 관심이 높아 지고 있다. 하지만 직류는 교류와 다르게 직류 배전시 부하의 단락 사고가 발생하면 지속적으로 아크전압이 발생하는 문제가 있기 때문에 차단이 어렵다. 인체의 안전과 전력설비 및 기기의 안전성을 확보하기 위해서는 고장전류로부터 계통을 보호하기 위한 차단기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 효과 적인 직류 차단에 대하여 실험적으로 연구하였다.
