  • In this paper, an efficient FFT-based fault detection algorithm is proposed. In our proposed method, fault detection is accomplished by process similar to the conventional FFT-based fault detection. However, the proposed technique adopts fast algorithms for preprocessing, where the conventional operation such as averaging is replaced with recursive average operation that outperforms the former in computational cost. And, the proposed approach utilizes the feature vector with the small dimension, which is extracted from spectral components of the lower and upper sidebands around the fundamental frequency.   • We consider the irrational part of the basic pattern drafting of the Geo-Ko-ri so that we want to design it more scientically. So there are problems which is found after we considered with comparison about the existingly basic pattern drafting of Geo-go-ri. (1) there is a difference between the practical and Calculation. (2) The part of the curved line was mad indistinctly There is a difference betweence the calculating expression and calculating value. (4) There are some parts which lack objectivity about the reference size. (5) The calculating method of Collar-width and Neck-Nidth are not formative and rational. These are items that we must consider and study further. Especially if we can make up of the scientific form in consideration of the formativeness focused on "git" I think it will make a great contribution to not only the standardization of the basic pattern of Geo-go-ri and the use of the use of education but also the manufacture of individual clothing the production by Auto CAD.   • In this paper, a very fast block matching scheme was proposed to reduce the computations of Block Sum Pyramid Algorithm for motion estimation in video coding. The proposed algorithm is based on Block Sum Pyramid Algorithm and Efficient Multi-level Successive Elimination Algorithm. The proposed algorithm can reduce the computations of motion estimation greatly with 100% motion estimation accuracy. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm was verified by experimental results.

  • In order to provide basis for an accurate concentration determination of volatile organic compounds(VOCs) in air, four different institutions participated in simultaneous measurements of several VOC species under the experimental scheme of the Measurement and Analysis Division(MAD) of the Korea Society for Atmospheric Environment(KOSAE). Two types of experiments were undertaken by collecting and analyzing ambient air samples from the 7th floor of Natural Science Building, Han Tang University during two day periods of the late May 1998. The first typer of experiment was conducted as five consecutive experiments at 2-hour intervals by two institutions. On the other hand. the second type of experiment was performed as two -10hr sampling by three different institutions. The data obtained from different type of experiments were examined using various statistical approaches. In general, the results of these experiments indicated that the VOC data produced by a number of Korean institutions be fairly agreeable.

  • 오늘날 컴퓨터와 데이터 통신의 급속한 발달로 인해 멀티미디어 정보통신 기술이 비약적으로 발전하고 있다 .이러한 멀티미디어 데이터 중에서 동영상은 다른 데이터 형태에 비해 정보량이 매우 방대하다. 따라서 동영상을 처리하는 시스템에서는 압축 기법이 매우 중요한 역할을 차지한다. 이에 본 논문은 H.264 Intra예측을 기반으로 고속의 움직임 탐색 모드를 미리 결정하여 최적의 움직임 탐색 모드로 움직임 예측을 시행하였고, 기존의 4$^*$4, 8$^*$8, 16$^*$16 완전블록 탐색방식과 비교 평가하였다. 뿐만 아니라 이후 이를 바탕으로 움직임 예측 모듈을 VHDL로 구현한 후 성능평가의 기준으로 이용할 것이다.

  • In this paper, the detection scheme of the spatial coordinates based on stereo camera for a intelligent path planning of an automatic mobile robot is proposed. In the proposed system, face area of a moving person is detected from a left image among the stereo image pairs by using the YCbCr color model and its center coordinates are computed by using the centroid method and then using these data, the stereo camera embedded on the mobile robot can be controlled for tracking the moving target in real-time. Moreover, using the disparity mad obtained from the left and right images captured by the tracking-controlled stereo camera system and the perspective transformation between a 3-D scene. and an image plane, depth information can be detected. Finally, based-on the analysis of these calculated coordinates, a mobile robot system is derived as a intelligent path planning and a estimation.

Urban Change Detection for High-resolution Satellite Images Using U-Net Based on SPADE (SPADE 기반 U-Net을 이용한 고해상도 위성영상에서의 도시 변화탐지)

  • In this paper, spatially-adaptive denormalization (SPADE) based U-Net is proposed to detect changes by using high-resolution satellite images. The proposed network is to preserve spatial information using SPADE. Change detection methods using high-resolution satellite images can be used to resolve various urban problems such as city planning and forecasting. For using pixel-based change detection, which is a conventional method such as Iteratively Reweighted-Multivariate Alteration Detection (IR-MAD), unchanged areas will be detected as changing areas because changes in pixels are sensitive to the state of the environment such as seasonal changes between images. Therefore, in this paper, to precisely detect the changes of the objects that consist of the city in time-series satellite images, the semantic spatial objects that consist of the city are defined, extracted through deep learning based image segmentation, and then analyzed the changes between areas to carry out change detection. The semantic objects for analyzing changes were defined as six classes: building, road, farmland, vinyl house, forest area, and waterside area. Each network model learned with KOMPSAT-3A satellite images performs a change detection for the time-series KOMPSAT-3 satellite images. For objective assessments for change detection, we use F1-score, kappa. We found that the proposed method gives a better performance compared to U-Net and UNet++ by achieving an average F1-score of 0.77, kappa of 77.29.

Effect of forearm length applied on empirical models of maximum endurance time during isometric elbow flexion (등척성 팔굽 굽힘시 최대근지구력시간의 실증적 모델에 적용한 전완길이의 영향)

  • During isometric elbow flexion, forearm length should be an important factor to determine not only joint torque but also maximum endurance time (MET), when the forearm is perpendicular to the direction of the force. The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of forearm length as an additional factor on empirical models of MET such as an exponential model and a power model during isometric elbow flexion. Thirty volunteers participated in our experiment to measure factor variables such as circumferences and lengths of their upper and lower arms. Their METs were measured according to the percent of maximum voluntary contraction intensity (%MVC). For the multiple linear regression model of ln(MET) using these measurements, significant variables could be observed in %MVC and forearm lengths (P<0.05). The empirical models were assessed by these models using forearm length as the additional factor. Mean absolute deviations (MAD) between the measured METs amd the two empirical models were about 19.4 [s], but MAD using models applied forearm lengths were reduced to about 16.2 [s]. The correlation coefficients and intraclass correlation coefficients were about 0.87, but those applied forearm lengths were increased to about 0.91. These results demonstrated that forearm length was a significant additional factor to the empirical model.

Chromosomal Analysis of Meiosis and Mitosis in New Zealane White Rabbit (New Zealand White 토끼의 생식세포 및 체세포 분열에 의한 염색체 분석)

  • Chromosomal characteristics of New Zealane White rabbit was studied at meiosis and mitosis. The meiotic chromosomal preparations were mad with the modified air-drying method and karyotype analysis was performed with the G-banding technique, using isolated mitotic metapase chromosomes of the New Zealand White rabbit. Chromosomes, sex vesicles and centromeres could be classified in the zygotene and the pachytene of the meiosis I. The hair-like processes projecting laterally from the axes of bivalent chromosomes at the mid-to-late pachytene were observed and made the appearance of the lampbrush chromosome structure. Chromosomes could be classified onthe basis of the numbers and locations of chiasma in the diakinesis. Twenty-one autosomal bivalents and a single unequal terminally associated X-Y bivalent were observe during the late prophase and the metaphase of the meiosis I. Most of the bivalent types observed in the New Zealand White rabbit spermatrocytes were 1CH, 1TAl, and 2TA bivalents. The mean chiasma frequency(CF) of the male New Zealand White rabbit was 30.2 and it was found that the CF value tended to decrease through diakinesis and the metaphase I. The karyotype of the New Zealand White rabbit was a male chromosome number of 44(2n=44) comprising 8 pairs of metacentric, 9 pairs of submetacentric, 4 pairs o acrocentric autosomes, metacentric X chromosome and acrocentric Y chromosome.

  • Newly proposed RG-MADS (Randomly Guided Mesh Adaptive Direct Search) has been applied to the optimal design of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) which has the distinctive features of magnetic saturation. RG-MADS, advanced from classical MADS algorithm, has the superiority in computational time and reliable convergence accuracy to the optimal solution, thus it is appropriate to the optimal design of IPMSM coupled with time-consuming Finite Element Analysis (FEA), necessary to the nonlinear magnetic application for better accuracy. Effectiveness of RG-MADS has been verified through the well-known benchmark-functions beforehand. In addition, the proposed RG-MADS has been applied to the optimal design of IPMSM aiming at maximizing the Maximum Torque Per Ampere (MTPA), which is regarded as representative design goal of IPMSM.
