벼 건묘육성을 위한 볍씨 철분코팅기술 연구 (Research on Iron-coated Seeds on a Rice Seedling Raising Nursery in Machine Transplanting)

  • 최근 우리나라에서는 육묘에서 이앙작업 단축을 위하여 본답육묘(못자리)에서 하우스 육묘(육묘공장) 시스템을 전국적으로 채택하고 있으나 이앙당시 유묘의 연약한 생장으로 모내기 약 2주전 별도로 본답 또는 외기로 육묘상자를 옮겨 경화를 시키는 번거로운 문제점에 있다. 따라서 본 시험에서는 철분코팅볍씨를 이용할 경우 다음과 같은 결과를 얻어 육묘공장(못자리)에서도 본 연구결과를 활용할 경우 유용할 것으로 사료되어진다. 1. 철분코팅을 한 볍씨는 무처리에 비하여 발아, 출아, 유묘생장에 극히 정상적이었다. 2. 이앙당시 유묘의 초장 생장은 무처리에 비하여 작아 육묘상자 운반과정, 이앙작업 시 손상이 줄어 들 것으로 보였다. 3. 유묘의 엽수 뿌리 생육이 무처리에 비하여 양호하여 초기 유묘생장에 유리할 것으로 보였다. 4. 철분코팅을 한 유묘의 지상부, 지하부 생장이 무처리에 비하여 양호하여 건묘육성에 유리한 것으로 나타났다.

  • 다섯 가지의 벼 재배유형(栽培類型)[관행(慣行) 손이앙(移秧), 중묘(中苗)(30일묘(日苗))의 기계이앙(機械移秧), 어린모(10일묘(日苗))의 기계이앙(機械移秧), 최아종자(催芽種子)의 담수직파(湛水直播) 및 건종자(乾種子)의 건담직파(乾畓直播)]에 따라 잡초발생(雜草發生) 양상(樣相)과 경합특성(競合特性)을 조사(調査)하여 벼 생육(生育)과 수량변화(收量變化)를 근거(根據)로 한 각(各) 재배류형별(栽培類型別) 벼와 잡초(雜草)와의 경합(競合) 한계기간(限界期間)의 모형(模型)으로 잡초(雜草) 방제기간(防除期間)을 설정(設定)하였다. 무잡초상태(無雜草狀態)를 연장(延長)시킴에 따라 30일묘(日苗)와 10일묘(日苗) 기계이앙(機械移秧) 및 직파재배(直播栽培)는 벼의 출수(出穗)가 무잡초구(無雜草區)에 비하여 1~2일정도(日程度) 지연(遲延)되었다. 잡초발생(雜草發生) 허용기간(許容期間)을 연장(延長)시킨 경우에는 관행이앙(慣行移秧), 30일묘(日苗) 및 10일묘(日苗) 기계이앙(機械移秧)에서는 출수기(出穗期)에서 차이(差異)가 없었으나, 직파재배(直播栽培)에서는 파종후(播種後) 7~10주(週)까지의 경합연장(競合延長)으로 출수(出穗)가 4~7일정도(日程度) 지연(遲延)되었다가 더욱 경합(競合)이 길어짐에 따라 5~6일정도(日程度) 앞당겨지는 현상(現狀)을 보였다. 재배양식별(栽培樣式別) 이앙후(移秧後) 및 파종후(播種後) 무잡초(無雜草) 유지(維持) 한계기간(限界期間)이 수량구성요소(收量構成要素)에 미치는 영향(影響)은 관행이앙(慣行移秧)에서는 이앙후(移秧後) 4주이내(週以內)에 발생(發生)된 잡초(雜草)에 의하여 등숙비율(登熟比率)과 천립중(千粒重)의 감소(減少)가 나타났으며, 10일묘(日苗) 기계이앙(機械移秧)에서는 조사(調査)된 모든 수량구성요소(水量構成要素)의 감소(減少)가 있었다. 직파재배(直播栽培)에서는 단위(單位) 면적당(面積當) 수수(穗數)는 파종후(播種後) 8~9주간(週間), 수당입수(穗當粒數)는 4~5주간(週間), 등숙비율(登熟比率)은 3~4주간(週間), 천립중(千粒重)은 8~10주간(週間)의 무제초(無除草)로 인(因)하여 감소(減少)되었다. 관행이앙재배(慣行移秧栽培)는 잡초방제(雜草防除) 요구기간(要求期間)으로서 이앙직후(移秧直後) 4주간(週間)에 걸쳐 무잡초(無雜草) 상태(狀態)를 유지(維持)해 주거나 이앙(移秧) 8주후(週後)부터 무잡초(無雜草) 상태(狀態)를 유지(維持)해주는 이중(二重) 대체기간(對替期間)이 설정(設定)되었다. 30일묘(日苗) 기계이앙재배(機械移秧栽培)는 관행이앙재배(慣行移秧載培)와 같이 이앙후(移秧後) 5주간(週間)에 걸친 무잡초(無雜草) 상태(狀態) 유지(維持) 또는 이앙후(移秧後) 8주(週)부터 유지(維持)되는 무잡초(無雜草) 상태(狀態)의 이중(二重) 대체기간(對替期間)이 설정(設定)되었다. 10일묘(日苗) 기계이앙재배(機械移秧栽培)는 잡초방제(雜草防除) 요구기간(要求期間)은 이앙후(移秧後) 5주간(週間) 또는 이앙(移秧) 7주후(週後)부터 무잡초(無雜草) 상태(狀態)를 유지(維持)해주는 이중(二重) 대체기간(對替期間)으로 설정(設定)되었다. 담수직파재배(湛水直播載培)는 파종후(播種後) 5주(週)부터 7주(週)까지의 단일기간중(單一期間中)에 잡초방제(雜草防除)가 요구(要求)되어 진다. 건답직파재배(乾畓直播栽培)는 잡초방제(雜草防除) 요구기간(要求期間)은 파종후(播種後) 6주(週)부터 9주(週)까지의 단일기간(單一期間)으로 설정(設定)되었다.

Occurrence of Weedy Rice as Affected by Cultural Practices

  • Since weedy rice problems have emerged with the recent advent of direct seeding cultivation in Korea, the establishment of effective control strategies for weedy rice is considered to be one of the urgent issues to be solved for widely practiced direct seeding rice cultivation. A three year experiment was conducted to investigate the occurrence pattern of weedy rice in four different rice cultivation practices: high ridged dry seeding, wet drill seeding, water seeding, and machine transplanting. The highest weedy rice occurrence of 11.0% was observed in high ridged dry seeding practice followed by 9.6% in wet drill seeding, 6.4% in water seeding practice, and 0.2% in machine transplanting practice, respectively. The same trend was observed when we examine the occurrence of contamination of panicle and rice grain by weedy rice. More contamination was observed in high ridged dry seeding than any other practices. It was also found that the possible emergence depths from the soil surface was deeper in both in ridged dry seeding and wet drill seeding practice (0-5 cm from the soil surface) than those in water seeding (0-4 cm), and machine transplanting practice (0-3 cm). The highest yield reduction of 19.5% was observed in high ridged dry seeding practice followed by 13.0% in wet drill seeding, 6.3% in water seeding practice. The reduction may have occurred to the competition between weedy rice and cultivated rice, These findings suggest that among the four cultural practices examined, the machine transplanting practice is the most effective method to control and reduce the weedy rice occurrence and weedy rice seed in soil.

  • This study was conducted to develop a robotic transplanter for bedding plants. The robotic transplanter consisted of machine vision system, a manipulator, a gripper and plug tray transfer system. The performance of the robotic transplanter was tested and compared by two different transplanting methods, which were to consider the leaf orientation of seedlings and not to. Results of this study were as follows. (1) A cartesian coordinate manipulator for a robotic transplanter with 3 degree of freedom was constructed. The accuracy of position control was $\pm$1 mm. (2) The robotic transplanter with the machine vision system, the manipulator, the gripper and the transfer system was developed and tested with a shovel-type finger. Without considering the orientation of leaves, the success rates of transplanting healthy cucumber seedlings in 72-cell and 128-cell plug-trays were 95.5% and 94.5% respectively. Considering the orientation of leaves, the success rates of transplanting healthy cucumber seedling in 72-cell and 128-cell plug-trays were 96.0% and 95.0% respectively.

Effects of Seedling Age on Growth and Yield of Machine Transplanted Rice in Southern Plain Region

  • Three rice cultivars, Namweonbyeo (early maturing), Hwaseongbyeo (medium maturing) and Dongjinbyeo (medium-late maturing) were trans-planted with 3 different seedling ages to investigate their growth habits and to improve the cultural method in paddy fields in the southern plain area of the Honam region in 1993. The 10-day old seedlings had more vigorous elongation of plant height and higher tillering ability but lower effective tiller rate, when compared with 35-day or 40-day old seedlings. Leaf area index and top dry weight were lower in 10-day old seedlings up to 40 days after transplanting but thereafter, were not different among seedlings ages. CGR was later in 10-day old seedlings, up to 30 days after transplanting, but in 30 to 40 days after transplanting, it was reversed. RGR was the highest in infant seedlings to 40 days after trans-planting, while in 50 days after transplanting, it was reversed. Panicle number and spikelet number per square meter were the highest in 40-day old seedlings, next highest in 35-day old seedlings and the lowest and in adult seedlings up to 40 days after transplanting, while spikelet number per panicle was vice versa. Milled rice yield did not vary significantly by seedling ages, but among the varieties, it was less in Hwaseongbyeo compared with Naweonbyeo and Dongjnbyeo.

  • 벼 기계이앙 어린모 육묘시 생장조절제가 묘의 초장신장 촉진에 미치는 효과를 구명하기 위하여 화성벼를 공시하고 6가지의 생장조절제를 사용하여 종자침종 효과와 6가지의 생장조절제를 사용하여 종자침종 효과와 묘 생장을 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Gibberellin과 Metalaxyl은 어린모의 초장신장을 촉진시켰으며, Tetracycle은 초장을 억제하였다. 2. Gibberellin의 엽면분무처리가 종자침종처리보다 어린모의 초장신장에 더 효과적이었다. 3. 어린모의 초장신장 촉진을 위한 Gibberellin의 엽면분무처리의 적정농도는 약 10ppm이었다. 4. Gibberellin의 엽면분무의 적정처리시기는 파종후 3~4일 이었다.

벼농사 복토직파기 개발 연구 (Development of a Direct Seeder with Soil Application for a Stable Direct Seeding in Rice Cultivation)

  • This research was performed to develope a stable direct seeding method in rice cultivation using by a direct seeder with soil application. A principle of this methodology was introduced from seeding nursery system of machine transplanting enable to increase high seeding establishment direct seeding method with soil application was high of 89-95% while that of water seeding was 68%. During seeding growth plant height was ralatively small but seeding health was high. A total soil consumption of this methodology was 145kg/10a in dirll seeding and 26kg/10a in hill seeding respectively, there was 100% erected in direct seeding with soil application while water seeding was 45% in erected seeding stand. In direct seeding method with soil application total carbohydrate content was higher than that of water seeding. This machine was manufactured to attach and/or detach to a machine transplanter with riding type and machine cultivator with multipurpose. In the farmer's demonstrated rice field this method was well performed like machine transplanting in terms of rice growth and development. There was highly cost reduction for rice production like other direct seeding methods.

  • This study aims at detecting the three dimensional gripping points for the transplanting robot system to grip in the process of developing transplanting robot system, which is one of the automation systems for transplanting tissue culture. The stereo vision system equipped with two cameras has been used to detect the gripping points of the plant stem. The method for matching the plants of the image information which came from two cameras was to measure the total numbers of pixels, leaves, and the heights of the plants. The gripping points were detected near the roots after extracting the stem parts by the standard deviation of the X axis according to the Y axis. The performance test of the developed program showed that the detecting errors of the gripping points were 0∼1mm for X axis and 1∼2mm for Y & Z axis. The mean running time of the program was about 3 seconds.

벼 무논점파재배 연작과 이앙전환에 따른 잡초성벼 발생 양상 (Changes of Weedy Rice Occurrence in Repeated Wet Direct Seeding and Alternate Transplanting/Wet Direct Seeding of Rice)

  • 본 연구는 벼 무논점파재배에 따른 잡초성벼 발생율을 담수산파 및 기계이앙재배와 비교하고, 무논점파와 담수산파재배포장을 기계이앙으로 전환하였을 때 잡초성벼 발생양상을 알아보기 위하여 실시하였다. 2년 연속 무논점파 및 담수산파 재배할 경우, 잡초성벼 발생은 기계이앙보다 각각 2.5배 및 12배 증가하였다. 그리고 3년간 연속하여 무논점파와 담수산파로 재배한 논에서 잡초성벼는 기계이앙보다 각각 4.2배, 4배 증가하였다. 무논점파 및 담수산파를 3년간 연작 후 기계이앙 재배로 전환한 논에서 잡초성벼 발생은 전년도에 비해 각각 0.3배, 0.7배 감소하여, 담수표면산파보다 무논점파에서 감소율이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 기계이앙재배로 3년간 연작한 포장을 다음해 무논점파와 담수산파하였을 경우는 잡초성벼 발생이 각각 전년도에 비해 0.8배, 1.1배로 기계이앙재배시에 비해 증가하지 않았다. 이와 같은 결과로 보아 잡초성벼 발생을 최소화하기 위해서는 직파재배 할 경우 담수산파보다는 무논점파가 유리하나 2년 이상 연작은 피하고, 기계이앙재배와 무논점파를 번갈아 하는 것이 잡초성벼 발생을 줄이는 재배방법으로 생각된다.

Effects of No-tillage Dry-seeding on Rice Growth and Soil Hardness

  • No-tillage dry-seeding of rice can offer potential benefits by reducing time and labor cost compared with conventional tillage practices. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of no-tillage dry-seeding on rice growth and soil hardness in comparison with other rice cultivation methods, machine transplanting and wet-hill-seeding on puddled paddy. The seedling stand fell within optimum range for both no-till dry-seeding and wet-hill-seeding on puddled paddy. Plant height, number of tillers and SPAD values in no-tillage dry-seeding cultivation were higher than those observed in other methods. There were no significant differences in grain yield of rice among three cultivation methods. The quality characteristics of milled rice grown in no-tillage dry-seeding were similar to those grown in other cultivation methods. Soil hardness in top 10 cm depth was significantly higher in no-tillage dry-seeding than other cultivation methods, while soil hardness below 10 cm depth was highest in machine transplanting cultivation. Results indicate that no-tillage dry-seeding practice is comparable to conventional tillage system in terms of seedling establishment, growth, yield and grain quality.
