초음파 분무법으로 제조한 ZnO:Al 박막의 전기 및 광학적 특성 (The electrical and optical properties of ZnO:Al films Prepared by ultrasonic spray Pyrolysis)

  • Transparent conductive aluminum-doped ZnO(AZO) films Were prepared by a ultrasonic spray pyrolysis method at the substrate temperature below 23$0^{\circ}C$. A vertical type hot wall furnace was used as a reactor in the deposition system. Zinc acetate dissolved in methanol was selected as a precursor. The substrate temperature was varied from 18$0^{\circ}C$to 24$0^{\circ}C$. Aluminum (Al) was doped into ZnO films by incorporating anhydrous aluminum chloride (AlCl$_3$) in the zinc acetate solution. The proportion of the Al in the starting solution was varied from 0 wt % to 3.0 wt %. The crystallographic properties and surface morphologies of the films were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. The resistivity of the films was measured by the Van der Pauw method, and the mobility and carrier concentration were obtained through the Hall effect measurements Transmittance was measured in the visible region. The effects of substrate temperature and aluminum content in the starling solution on the structural and electrical properties of the AZO films are discussed

기계적합금화법(機械的合金化法)에 의(依)한 V-Al합금(合金)의 미세조직(微細組織) 변화(變化)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on Microstructure of Vanadium-Aluminum Alloy by Mechanical Alloying)

  • The formation of brittle intermetallic compound such as $VAl_3$ tends tp lower the toughness of V-Al alloys. Also, due to the high melting point of vanadium, it is difficult to make that alloy by previous ingot metallurgy method. To depress the technique has been adopted. The effect of particle size and milling time on the phase has been thoroughly studied. For mechanical alloying, SPEX mixed/mill has been used. The milling time and the composition of V and Al are varied to find the optimum condition of forming amorphous phase. The X-Ray Diffrection pattern, microstructure detection, microhandess test, experiments are carried out to analyze MA product. When the final step is reached, no lamellar-structure is detected. The steady state condition is observed after 8 hours and 10 hours milling for 15wt.%Al and 30wt.%Al alloy, respectively. The microhardness continuously increases up to 10 hours after then it remains constant.

기계적 합금화 방법에 의한 금속-카본계에서의 나노복합금속분말의 제조 (Preparation of Nanocomposite Metal Powders in Metal-Carbon System by Mechanical Alloying Process)

  • 본 연구에서는 기지금속과의 고상이나 액상의 고용한이 거의 없는 금속-카본(carbon)계에서 고에너지 볼밀공정을 이용하여 고체 윤활 청동베어링용 Cu-C-X계 나노복합금속분말을 제조하고자 하였다. Cu-10wt.%C-5wt.%AI과 Cu-10wt.%C-5wt.%Fe의 혼합분말을 이르곤 분위기의 attritor내에서 기계적 합금화한 후 Cu-C-X의 나노복합금속분말의 미세조직 특성을 조사하였다. AI, Fe를 첨가하였을 때 10시간 이상의 MA공정에서부터 약 $10\mu\textrm{m}$이하의 미세한 Cu-C-X나노복합금속분말을 얻을 수 있었으며, MA 시간에 따른 분말의 형상과 미세구조 변화는 금속-금속계의 MA 과정과 유사하게 진행되는 것을 알 수 있었다. Cu-C-X 나노복합금속분말의 X-선 회절시험 결과, MA 시간에 따라 Cu와 C분말의 회절피크의 폭은 넓어지고 회절강도는 감소하였으며, 특히 흑연피크의 MA시간에 따른 소멸은 흑연의 낮은 원자산란계수 때문에 의한 X-선 흡수 영향으로 고찰하였다. Williamson-Hall식으로 계산된 Cu-C-X 나노복합금속분말내의 Cu의 결정립은 15시간 이상의 MA공정에서부터 약 10nm이하의 크기를 가졌으며, TEM 분석결과로는 불규칙한 형상의 약 10-30nm 크기로 복합화된 Cu결정립을 확인할 수 있었다.

비고용 Cu30Mo70계 혼합분말의 기계적 합금화 효과 (Mechanical Alloying Effect in Immiscible Cu30Mo70 Powders)

  • Lee et al. reported that a mixture of Cu and Ta, the combination of which is characterized by a positive heat of mixing, $\{Delta}H_{mix}$ of +2 kJ/㏖, can be amorphized by mechanical alloying(MA). It is our aim to investigate to what extent the MA is capable of producing a non-equilibrium phase with increasing the heat of mixing. The system chosen is the binary $Cu_{30}Mo_{70}$ with $\{Delta}H_{mix}$=+19 kJ/㏖. The mechanical alloying was carried out using a Fritsch P-5 planetary mill under Ar gas atmosphere. The vial and balls are made of Cu containing 1.8-2.0 wt.%Be to avoid contaminations arising mainly from Fe when steel balls and vial are used. The MA powders were characterized by the X-ray diffraction, EXAFS and thermal analysis. We conclude that two phase mixture of nanocrystalline fcc-Cu and bcc-Mo with grain size of 10 nm is formed by the ball-milling for a 3:7 mixture of pure Cu and Mo, the evidence for which has been deduced from the thermodynamic and structural analysis based on the DSC, X-ray diffraction and EXAFS spectra.

남극 킹조지섬 바톤반도의 열수변질작용에 관한 K-Ar 연대와 지구화학 (K-Ar Age and Geochemistry of Hydrothermal Alteration in the Barton Peninsula, King George Island, Antarctica)

  • K-Ar ages of the altered rocks from the Barton Peninsula are belows; altered tuffaceous andesite from southwestern part is 42 Ma, altered rocks contacted with quartz vein from southern part are 28 and 33 Ma, and advanced argillic altered andesite from northeastern part are 33 and 35 Ma. Those K-Ar ages are 10 My younger than granitic rocks of the Barton Peninsula. Hydothermal alteration of the Barton Peninsula was originated from mixing of magmatic water from parent magma of granitic rocks with meteoric water. The Al content in the hostrock is relatively constant during hydrothermal alteration, on the contrary the Mg content is in proportion to total alkali. The variation of total alkali and Mg contents in hydrothermal alteration indicates that those elements was washed out during hydrothermal alteration. The sequences of hydrothermal alteration of the Barton Peninsula is chloritization of amphiboles, sericitization of feldspars and kaolitization of sericite.

  • A detailed procedure was described for the isolation of cratine kinase (ATP-Creatine phosphotransferase, E. C. 2. 7. 3. 2.) from the muscle of the snake Bungarus fasciatus. The original isolation procedure of Kuby et al. for the rabbit muscle enzyme has been modified and extended to include a chromatographic step. The properties of the enzyme have been investigated and kinetic constants for the reverse reactions determined as the followings: 1) A molecular weight of the enzyme was determined by gel filteration on Sephadex G-100 and by electrophoresis on SDS-polyacrylamide was 86,000. 2) Two reactive sulphydryl groups were detected with dithiobis nitrobenzoic acid (DTNB). 3) The nucleotide substrate specificity in the reverse reaction was determined as ADP*2'-dADP>GDP>XDP>UDP with magnesium as the activating metal ion. 4) The order of the metal specificity in the reverse reaction Mg>Mn>$Ca{\sim}Co$ was determined with ADP as substrate. 5) A detailed kinetic analysis was carried out in the reverse direction with $MaADP^-$ as the nucleotide substrate. Initial velocity and product inhibition studies($MaADP^{2-}$ competitive with respect to MgADP- and noncompetitive with respect to $N-phosphorycreatine^{2-}$ ; Creatine competitive with respect to $N-phosphorycreatine^{2-}$ and noncompetitive with respect to Ma $ADP^-)$ indicated that the reaction obeyed a sequential mechanism of the rapid equilibrium random type.

Morphology of Metal Salt of Carboxylic Acid: Metal and Acid Dependency on Branched Round Cluster Images

  • Metallic salts of C10-18 aliphatic carboxylic acids were prepared and their scanning electron microscopic images were analyzed for the morphology dependency with the metal and the carboxylic acid. Regardless of metal ion, metal salts of dicarboxylic acids showed a high crystallinity with a fiber image (SuA-Na). The aromatic dicarboxylates also represented a morphology of a rectangular-rod or board shapes (IA-Li, IA-Ba). With Na ion, most aliphatic carboxylate (MA, PA, SA) showed a fiber-like crystallinity. However, other monovalent Li, K and multivalent Mg, especially Al ion resulted a glassy-amorphous in the metallic salts of acids (MA, PA, SA). With divalent Ba and Ca ions, the metal salt of aliphatic acids expressed a branched round cluster shape as in SA-Ca, SA-Ba. Both Li and Mg ions with a similar size showed a strong morphological similarity in the metallic salts of aliphatic acids MA, PA, SA. In the case of Na and Ca ions with a similar size (98, 106 pm), both ionic salts of stearic acid gave a branching effect for a fiber or round granular image. In the case of hydroxyl-aliphatic acids (HLA, HPA, HSA), the fiber images in HLA-Na and HSA-Na was appeared about 100 nm thicker than those of nonhydroxycarboxylates (LA-Na, SA-Na). The metallic salts of unsaturated C-18 carboxylic acids (OlA, LeA and LnA) showed an amorphous glassy image due to a kinked carbon chain.

  • 마이크로어레이 기술은 한번에 수만 개의 유전자를 동시에 분석할 수 있는 고효율, 고가의 새로운 연구 도구로 자리잡았으며 마이크로어레이 실험 자료의 올바른 분석을 위해서는 실험 목적에 맞는 실험계획법의 확립과 통계분석법의 적용이 중요하다 본 논문에서는 마이크로어레이 자료에서 여러 군 사이에서 발현의 차이를 보이는 유전자를 찾을 수 있는 되돌림 설계를 소개하고 ANOVA 모형을 이용하여 분석하는 방법을 제시한다. 연세대학교 암전이 연구센터의 되돌림 설계를 이용한 백혈병 자료를 MA-ANOVA(Wu et. al.(2003))를 이용하여 분석하였다

  • Mechanical alloying(MA) process using elemental powders followed by hot pressing has been applied to some intermetallic alloy system containing ferromagnetic elements, such as NiAl and $FeSi_2$. A modified thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) technique was used to investigate the degree of alloying in milled powders and hot consolidated specimens as well as heat-treated bulk specimens. It is shown that the measurement of Curie temperatures in MA intermetallic powders and consolidated specimens containing ferromagnetic components, when determined as a function of milling and heat treatment parameters, can give some insight into the progress and mechanism of alloying.

태백산지역(太白山地域) 장성도복내(長省圖福內) 풍곡(豊谷)에 분포(分布)되어 있는 유문암질암(流紋岩質岩)의 K-Ar 전암연령(全岩年齡) (K-Ar whole Rock Ages of the Rhyolitic Rocks at Punggog in the Jangseong Sheet, Taebaegsan Area)

  • 태백산(太白山) 광산대내(鎭山帶內) 장성도복(長省圖福)의 풍곡일대(豊谷一帶)에서 채취(採取)한 두 개(個)의 유문암질(流紋岩類)를 K-Ar 전암법(全岩法)으로 연령측정(年齡測定)하였다. 그 중(中), 유문암(流紋岩)은 $62.69{\pm}1.15Ma$, 유문암질응회암(流紋岩質凝灰岩)은 $51.67{\pm}6.64Ma$로 확인(確認)되었다. 일반적(一般的)으로 화산암(火山岩)의 K-Ar 전암연령(全岩年齡)은, 지질학적(地質學的)으로 이차적(二次的)영향을 받지 않았다면, 화산암(火山岩)의 형성연령(形成年齡)을 제시(提示)하나, 여기서 연령측정(年齡測定)한 두개의 유문암질암(流紋岩質岩)은 약간 열수변질(熱水變質)받았고, 유문암질암응회암(流紋岩質凝灰岩)이 유문암(流紋岩)의 연령(年齡)보다 약간 젊은 것으로 나타났다. 이들 암석(岩石)의 야외산출상태(野外産出狀態)는 정합적(整合的)인 고(故)로, 적어도 이들 두 유문암질암(流紋岩質岩)은 약(約) 60Ma보다 그 이전(以前)에 취출(嘴出)된 것으로 판단(判斷)된다.
