  • This paper presents new approach to technology pattern recognition of camera back cover and test of soldering. In real-time implementing of pattern recognition camera back cover and test of soldering, the MVB-03 vision board has been used. Image can be captured from standard CCD monochrome camera in resolutions up to 640$\times$480 pixels. Various options re available for color cameras, a synchronous camera reset, and linescan cameras. Image processing os performed using Texas Instruments TMS320C31 digital signal processors. Image display is via a standard composite video monitor and supports non-destructive color overlay. System processing is possible using c30 machine code. Application software can be written in Borland C++ or Visual C++

  • A few years ago, The trains had little control equipment so the trains had little data transmission between control equipment. Recently, there is a lot of control equipment in a train as traction control, air conditioners and even internet access. for this reason, vehicle network must allow for the big amount of transmission data and must ensure the high reliability. In this paper we present monitering system for verify high reliability of data transmission of MVB of TCN which is an international standard of IEC 61375.

  • Train control and monitoring system for the railway train requires a reliable real-time communication network. The system have various functions, diagnostics, passenger informations, and fault-tolerant controls. For this system, an international standard called TCN(Train Communication Network) is proposed by IEC and the train industries. The TCN is composed of two layers, wire train bus(WTB) and multifunction vehicle bus(MVB). This paper evaluates the performance of the proposed WTB and modified WTB. And computer simulations are performed. The evaluated results can be used for the fault tolerant network in the railway train system.

  • There are increasing customer's needs for safe operation and comfort of trains for the passengers as trains are getting fast and developed with advanced components. To meet the needs we developed the system which is able to prevent possible risk elements by transverse vibrations during the train operation. System records the amplitude data of trains vibration and location data from GPS antenna in real time. The system is composed of 5 different functioning modules as following GCPU, GGWD, GIFD, GAID and GPSD. GAID module is detecting amplitude value of vibration which is sensed by bogie hunting sensor's. GFID gets location information where vibration data is detected with GPS Antenna. Once those data is prepared, GCPU testify it's amplitude and decides whether it send those data. When it sends those recorded data, those data are sent to control unit by MVB communication. we expect that this information will help operation and maintenance engineers improve the safety train services. This paper explains train transverse Vibrations data recording system and its major functions which can measure the amplitude of trains's data during the operation and introduces the configuration for the system setup.

  • The Train Networks has a goal which requires the fast and correct data communication for distributable equipment systems. For this, in 1999, some train makers had established the standard TCN(IEC61375-1) for the inter-operating between equipment systems. Recently, TCN is being used in EU, China and the requirement to use it is growing up by many other countries more and more. The TCN was adopted at Korea High-speed Train with first in Korea, and Rotem Company finished the design of TCMS with TCN network for Istanbul EMU and KTX-2 Train and tests them. TCN(Train Communication Networks) defines the set of communication vehicle buses and train buses. The MVB(Multifunction Vehicle Bus) defines the data communication interface of equipment located in a vehicle and the WTB(Wire Train Bus) defines the data communication interface between vehicles. This paper examines whether the result of on-board test is satisfied with the IEC61375-1(International Electrotechnical Commission 61375-1) which is the international standard of TCN and introduce the results.

  • Exosomes are homogenous vesicles of 40-100 nm diameter produced endogenously. Exosomes are generated by inward budding into multi-vesicular bodies (MVB) and then released to extracellular space. Exosomes contain various nucleic acid and protein cargoes from their cells of origin and this endosomal cellular molecules are used for intracellular communication and for both promotion and suppression of immune responses. Recently, they are also considered as delivery vehicle for therapeutic proteins due to their characteristics of stability in body fluids and ability for target uptake. Also, they show less immune reactivity because the isolated exosome harboring therapeutic proteins can be from the same host. White-spotted flower chafer, Protaetia brevitarsis is one of the major insect commercially reared in Korea. There are bacterial and fungal pathogens causing diseases in the beetle, and these diseases incur economic loss to the larva-rearing farms. Due to their endosomal cargoes, exosomes are good candidates in use of disease diagnosis. In this study, we isolated insect exosome from the hemolymph of P. brevitarsis, and verified it by analysis of the exosome-specific surface proteins and RNA.

Calculation of Low-Energy Reactor Neutrino Spectra for Reactor Neutrino Experiments

  • Background: Nuclear reactors produce a great number of antielectron neutrinos mainly from beta-decay chains of fission products. Such neutrinos have energies mostly in MeV range. We are interested in neutrinos in a region of keV, since they may take part in special weak interactions. We calculate reactor antineutrino spectra especially in the low energy region. In this work we present neutrino spectrum from a typical pressurized water reactor (PWR) reactor core. Materials and Methods: To calculate neutrino spectra, we need information about all generated nuclides that emit neutrinos. They are mainly fission fragments, reaction products and trans-uranium nuclides that undergo negative beta decay. Information in relation to trans-uranium nuclide compositions and its evolution in time (burn-up process) were provided by a reactor code MVP-BURN. We used typical PWR parameter input for MVP-BURN code and assumed the reactor to be operated continuously for 1 year (12 months) in a steady thermal power (3.4 GWth). The PWR has three fuel compositions of 2.0, 3.5 and 4.1 wt% $^{235}U$ contents. For preliminary calculation we adopted a standard burn-up chain model provided by MVP-BURN. The chain model treated 21 heavy nuclides and 50 fission products. The MVB-BURN code utilized JENDL 3.3 as nuclear data library. Results and Discussion: We confirm that the antielectron neutrino flux in the low energy region increases with burn-up of nuclear fuel. The antielectron-neutrino spectrum in low energy region is influenced by beta emitter nuclides with low Q value in beta decay (e.g. $^{241}Pu$) which is influenced by burp-up level: Low energy antielectron-neutrino spectra or emission rates increase when beta emitters with low Q value in beta decay accumulate Conclusion: Our result shows the flux of low energy reactor neutrinos increases with burn-up of nuclear fuel.
