Relationships between TSP and PM10 concentrations were evaluated using their respective data sets collected from Taegu and Kyeungsan areas during the period of December 1993 to November 1994. The collection of data was made using the gravimetric and $\beta$-ray absorption ($\beta$-MPM) methods for 7 days of every month from three urban sites in Taegu and one suburban site in Kyeungsan. Correlation coefficients between TSP and PM10 concentrations for these four sampling sites were found in the range of 0.85 $\sim$ 0.96. Correlation analysis was also conducted for $\beta$-PM concentration data that were measured only from the residential and commercial sites. The correlation coefficients between TSP and $\beta$-PM concentrations were 0.9 in the residential site and 0.8 in the commercial site. By contrast, the correlation coefficients between PM10 $\beta$-PM concentrations were almost identical for both the residential and commercial sites with a value of 0.88. The mean ratio for PM10 to TSP concentrations for all sites was appeared to be 0.68. The analysis of seasonal trends in PM10/TSP ratios showed that the contribution of PM10 to TSP concentrations was more significant during winter (0.70 $\sim$ 0.75) than during summer (0.61 $\sim$ 0.68). The results of this study may provide empirical informations on the compatability of aerosol data measured by different sampling methods.
Background: A literature review on 1,104,269 cancer patients concluded that the prevalence of multiple primary malignancies (MPM) is between 0.73% and 11.7%. MPMs seem to have higher incidence than that influenced by hazard only. The purpose of this study was to investigate clinically useful information for effective screening for synchronous and metachronous second primary cancers and to identify a potential surveillance protocol. Materials and Methods: Using statistical and epidemiological indicators we evaluated the patients with MPMs (double locations) admitted to Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtarslan Ankara Oncology Education and Research Hospital between 1981 and 2010. Results: Out of the 130 cases, 24 (18.4%) were synchronous while 106 cases (81.6%) were metachronous tumours. Mean interval time from first to second primary cancers was 4.65 years (0-27 years). The most frequent malignant associations were breast-breast, breast-endometrium and breast-ovary. Both primary and secondary tumors tended to be in an advanced stage explained by the low compliance of the patients to follow-up. Conclusions: The possibility that MPMs exist must always be considered during pretreatment evaluation. Screening procedures are especially useful for the early detection of associated tumors, whereas careful monitoring of patients treated for primary cancer and a good communication between patients and medical care teams should ensure early detection of secondary tumors, and subsequent appropriate management.
A Kinematical study of bite force during voluntary isometric contraction was investigated in 20 Korean women with TMJ dysfunction and 50 Korean women a normal subject, ranging from 19 to 29 years old. The author observed maximal bite force, slope of bite force graph, curve index and duration of maximal bite force by way of the foil strain guage(MPM-3000) and Dymograph(Beckman). The obtained results were as follows : 1. Maximal bite forces were 26.48kg and 21.38kg for left and right side of normal subject and 12.85kg and 20.70kg for affected and mon-affected side of TMJ dysfunction patients. 2. The slope of bite force graph were 64.69。and 63.83。 for left and right side of normal subject and 53.14。and 69.57。for affected and non-affected side. 3. The curve indexes were 0.54 and 0.80 for left and right side of normal subject and 2.30 and 0.60 for affected and non-affected side. 4. The duration of maximal bite force were 383.12 msec and 393.60 msec for left and right side of normal subject and 345.30 msec and 312.25 msec for affected and non-affected side.
In this study, recovering agent was produced with organic sludge and modified peat moss (MPM) in pilot plant mixer to recover oil contaminated soil, and field test of it was estimated using landfarming method. Oil contaminated soil recovering agent was thought to contain more microorganisms than raw waste sludge and was no problem to come onto the market because there were not any items of specified wastes. According to the results of TPH variation with time, it was observed the initial degradation velocity of oil with produced recovering agent was rapid up to 50% after 4 days, remarkably. Because the microorganisms in the organic sludge discharged from chemical plant already acclimated with oil, therefore, it could be estimated initial degradation velocity of recovering agent might be rapid. It was concluded that the oil contaminated soil recovering agent produced in this study have high marketability because of its two aspects on recycling of wastes and initial rapid degradation capacity.
We have performed measurements of the local magnetic field distribution of YBCO coated conductors using Low-temperature Scanning Hall Probe Microscopy (LT-SHPM). Distribution of stray magnetic field of various types of YBCO coated conductors in the superconducting state was measured in presence of external magnetic fields. We analyzed one dimensional and two dimensional local current distribution using inversion technique from the magnetic field distribution.
A new poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC) membrane electrode that is highly selective to $Mn^{+2}$ ions was prepared using N,N'-bis(2'-pyridinecarboxamide)-1,2-ethane ($bpenH_2$) as a suitable neutral carrier. This concentration range ($1.0{\times}10^{-5}$ to $1.0{\times}10^{-1}\;M$) with Nernstian slope of $29.3{\pm}0.5\;mV$ per decade. The detection limit and the response time of electrode were $8.0{\times}10^{-6}\;M$ and (${\leq}15\;s$) respectively. The membrane can be used for more than two months without observing any divergence. The electrodes exhibited excellent selectivity for $Mn^{+2}$ ion over other mono-, di- and trivalent cations. Selectivity coefficients were determined by the matched potential method (MPM). The electrode can be used in the pH range from 4.0 - 9.0. The isothermal coefficient of this electrode amounted to 0.00023 V/$^{\circ}C$. The stability constant (log $K_s$) of the $Mn^{+2}$ - $bpenH_2$ complex was determined at $25^{\circ}C$ by potentiometric titration in mixed aqueous solution. The proposed electrode was applied to the determination of $Mn^{+2}$ ions in real samples.

In software system development, an application interface is the main communication platform between human developers and applications. Interaction in any software application requires human's mental and physical activities. Although software systems have increased drastically in diverse sectors and many forms to quench human's needs and satisfactions, human always concern about the ease in usability of the software application so that it can be easily understood and navigated. Since many software developers still focus on the quantity of contents instead of the quality of the interface from the user's point of view, it is important to address human factors need in the early stage of the design and to continue addressing them during the entire stages of the software design for the persistent support of usability. In this paper, we propose the Modified Prototype Model (MPM), which helps the software designers and developers to design user-friendly software systems with easy-to-navigate interfaces by uncovering human factors in a convenient way. Moreover, we propose methods that assist to identify more human factors regarding software design. In this paper, we also study the implications of the proposed model and the proposed methods.
Ink transfer process from the printing roll to the moving web was investigated using a CFD technique for the application in R2R printed electronics. In line with the requirement that the web handling speed needs to be increased further for the cost competitiveness, the effects of web moving velocity with relatively complex roll patterns were analyzed. To make the present analysis more realistic, the numerical geometry and the ink properties were selected to match those of the real printing production system. Our numerical results showed that both web handling speed and complex printing-roll patterns influenced the shape of the transferred ink. As the web moving speed approaches towards 30mpm, a significant distortion of the shape of the transferred ink occurred. In the range of pattern width smaller than 100 microns, a phase distortion was also found to occur in all the printing-roll patterns considered in the present work but the ratio of the phase distortion to the line width gets smaller as the width becomes smaller. Thus, the web handling speed and the shape of printing-roll pattern will be important elements for the better printing quality under 100 micron line width range.

The article presents the analysis of modern methods of automatic comparison of original and unoriginal text to detect textual plagiarism. The study covers two types of plagiarism - literal, when plagiarists directly make exact copying of the text without changing anything, and intelligent, using more sophisticated techniques, which are harder to detect due to the text manipulation, like words and signs replacement. Standard techniques related to extrinsic detection are string-based, vector space and semantic-based. The first, most common and most successful target models for detecting literal plagiarism - N-gram and Vector Space are analyzed, and their advantages and disadvantages are evaluated. The most effective target models that allow detecting intelligent plagiarism, particularly identifying paraphrases by measuring the semantic similarity of short components of the text, are investigated. Models using neural network architecture and based on natural language sentence matching approaches such as Densely Interactive Inference Network (DIIN), Bilateral Multi-Perspective Matching (BiMPM) and Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) and its family of models are considered. The progress in improving plagiarism detection systems, techniques and related models is summarized. Relevant and urgent problems that remain unresolved in detecting intelligent plagiarism - effective recognition of unoriginal ideas and qualitatively paraphrased text - are outlined.
