HLA를 이용한 지역 교통망 관리 방안 연구 (A Study of the Management for the Area Traffic Using High Level Architecture)

  • There are plenty of optimization models for the signal-system of a single intersection and area traffic. Some of those models are adopted for the real traffic signal control system. The simulators for a single crossroad have been developed, so that we could evaluate optimization models and traffic control systems. However, the simulators for the area traffic are still being developed. Therefore, there are many limitations in the analysis and evaluation for area traffic control systems. The area traffic is consist of several intersections interconnected which are very complicated and many traffic strategy are adopted for the control system. This paper features an effective area traffic control system by High Lever Architecture(HLA) which is a new developed simulation tool. In this paper, we discuss the design of HLA-based area traffic control simulation. We describe technical motivations for the HLA, the key elements of the architecture and how they are minimum and essential to the goal of reuse and interoperability.

DRASTIC과 지하수 수질에 의한 창원시 지하수 오염취약성 평가 (Assessing Groundwater Vulnerability Using DRASTIC Method and Groundwater Quality in Changwon City)

  • 본 연구는 DRASTIC 기법과 지하수 자료를 이용하여 창원시의 공단지역과 주거상업지역의 지하수 오염취약성을 평가하였다. DRASTIC 기법은 원래 오염원이 지표에 있으며 강우의 침투와 함께 오염물질이 지하수로 유입되는 조건에 적용시켰었다. 공단지역은 대체로 주거상업지역보다 높은 DRASTIC 평가지수를 가진다. 그러나, 주거상업지역 중 용지동지역은 연구지역 중에서 가장 낮은 DRASTIC 평가지수를 가짐에도 불구하고 지하수 오염정도가 높다. 이러한 사실은 도시지역의 지하수 오염이 과잉양수와 이에 따른 지하수위 하강과 밀접하게 관련된다는 것을 지시한다. 각 동별 최소 DRASTIC 평가지수와 먹는물 수질 부적합의 상관계수는 0.4로서 비교적 낮다. 그러나, 각 동별 최소 DRASTIC 평가지수와 지하수 사용량의 상관계수는 0.70이고, 각 동별 최소 DRASTIC 평가지수와 지하수 공 분포밀도의 상관계수는 0.87로서 높게 나타난다. 따라서, 도시지역에서 지하수 오염취약성을 평가하기 위해서는 기존의 DRASTIC 평가요소뿐만 아니라 지하수 사용량과 지하수 공 분포 밀도와 같은 인위적인 요소도 함께 고려하는 것이 필요하다.

지상 고밀도 관측 시스템을 이용한 대구의 여름철 고온현상 조사 (Investigation of Urban High Temperature Phenomenon in Summer using the High Density Ground Monitoring System in Daegu Metropolitan Area)

  • We analyzed diurnal variations in the surface air temperature using the high density urban climate observation network in Daegu metropolitan city, the representative basin-type city in Korea, in summer, 2013. We used a total of 28 air temperature observation points data(16 thermometers and 12 AWSs). From the distribution of monthly average air temperature, air temperature at the center of Daegu was higher than the suburbs. Also, the days of daily minimum air temperature more than or equal to $25^{\circ}C$ and daily maximum air temperature more than or equal to $35^{\circ}C$ at the schools near the center of Daegu was more than those at other schools. This tendency appeared more clearly on the days of daily minimum air temperature more than or equal to $25^{\circ}C$. Also, the air temperature near the center of the city was higher than that of the suburbs in the early morning. Thus it was indicated that the air temperature was hard to decrease as the bottom of the basin. From these results, the influence of urbanization to the formation of the daily minimum temperature in Daegu was indicated.

DTV와 WRAN 시스템 사이의 양립성 분석 (Compatiblility analysis between DTV and WRAN systems)

  • 본 논문에서는, 802.22 WRAN 시스템과 DTV 사이의 주파수 공존 영향에 대해 분석한다. 먼저 간섭에 대한 정의를 명확히 하기위해, DTV를 간섭원으로, 802.22 WRAN을 피 간섭원으로 설정한다. 두 시스템이 동일한 스펙트럼을 사용했을 때, 두 시스템의 최소 이격 거리를 계산한다. 그리고 잠재적 간섭의 존재 유무를 결정하기위해, 최소 커플링 손실을 전송 손실과 비교하였다. 최소 이격거리는 전송 손실이 최소 커플링 손실보다 큰 값을 가질 경우 결정된다. 이러한 경우, DTV는 802.22 WRAN 시스템에 아무런 영향도 끼치지 않는 것으로 생각할 수 있다.

최저임금제가 노동수요에 미치는 효과: 감시단속 근로자에 대한 실증분석 (The Effects of Introduction of Minimum Wages on Labor Demand in Korea: An Empirical Study for Security Workers)

  • 본 연구는 2007년부터 적용되기 시작한 감시단속적 근로자 그룹에 대한 최저임금의 효과를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 수도권 지역의 132개 단지 아파트 경비근로자들에 대한 2005~2007년의 임금 근로시간, 고용 등에 대한 자료를 분석한 결과 최저임금제 도입으로 표본 근로자들의 2007년도 임금은 약 10.9% 순상승하였고, 고용은 3.5~4.1% 감소하였으며, 월 근로시간은 약 13.5% 감소한 것으로 추정된다. 이는 고용의 단기 임금탄력성이 -0.312로, 근로시간의 단기 임금탄력성은 -1.68로 추정됨을 의미한다.

The Change in Fuel Moisture Contents on the Forest Floor after Rainfall

  • Forest fuel moisture content is a crucial factor influencing the combustion rate and fuel consumption during forest fires, significantly impacting the occurrence and spread of wildfires. In this study, meteorological data were gathered using a meteorological measuring device (HOBO data logger) installed in the south and north slopes of Kangwon National University Forest, as well as on bare land outside the forest, from November 1, 2021, to October 31, 2022. The objective was to analyze the relationship between meteorological data and fuel moisture content. Fuel moisture content from the ground cover on the south and north slopes was collected. Fallen leaves on the ground were utilized, with a focus on broad-leaved trees (Prunus serrulata, Quercus dentata, Quercus mongolica, and Castanea crenata) and coniferous trees (Pinus densiflora and Pinus koraiensis), categorized by species. Additionally, correlation analysis with fuel moisture content was conducted using temperature (average, maximum, and minimum), humidity (average, minimum), illuminance (average, maximum, and minimum), and wind speed (average, maximum, and minimum) data collected by meteorological measuring devices in the study area. The results indicated a significant correlation between meteorological factors such as temperature, humidity, illuminance, and wind speed, and the moisture content of fuels. Notably, exceptions were observed for the moisture content of the on the north slope and that of the ground cover of Prunus serrulata and Castanea crenata.

소형 초음속 디퓨저를 이용한 고고도환경 모사에 대한 시험적 연구 (Experimental Study of High-Altitude Simulation using Small-Scale Supersonic Diffuser)

  • Experimental study was conducted on cylindrical supersonic diffuser in order to investigate the effects of the ratios of diffuser area to nozzle throat area (Ad/At), diffuser area to nozzle exit area (Ad/Ae), nozzle exit area to its throat area (Ae/At), and diffuser length to its diameter (L/D), the free volume of vacuum chamber, and the relative distance between nozzle exit and diffuser inlet on the diffuser performance. The study showed that the minimum diffuser starting pressure (Po/Pa)st increased monotonically with increase in (Ad/At) as predicted by the normal shock and momentum theory models and the volume of vacuum chamber affected vacuum pressure level during diffuser operation at lower value of (Ad/Ae). The results of this investigation will be utilized in the design of real-scale high-altitude simulation test facility.

평탄화 분석방법을 이용한 금석문판독 향상 방법 (A Study on Improving Readability Using Flattening Analysis)

  • The epigraphy is a text on metal or a text on stone. The value of epigraphy can be used to identify historical facts of the past. It is a good record to understand the past life and culture. But it is difficult to decode the character of the epigraphy which has been exposed to the outdoor for a long time. In this study, the proposed techniques are consisted of 3 parts: (1)The surface division into information area, non- information area, and undifferentiated area. And then, (2) The selection of points in the non-information area and finding a reference plane with the minimum error. (3) Flattening the points perpendicular to the reference plane and decoding characters on information area. This research contributes to narrow the scope of a particular letter and to read the controversial letters on the Pohang Jungsoengri Silla Stone Monument(Korea's national treasure number 318).

주사간격 변화에 의한 응착조형물의 표면예측 (An Estimation on Area Error for Surface Roughness of Rapid Prototype by FDM)

  • In any rapid prototyping process, the layer by layer building process introduces an area error between the staircase and the surface line specified by the computer-aided design model. This affects the dimensional accuracy as well as the surface finish for different Road Widths. This paper describes a methodology for computing the area error for any Road Width by the fused deposition modelling system. This technique can be applied to determine the best Road Width of the part, based on the minimum area error. This technique is verified by comparing the results with the experimental measurements of the area error with Road Widths.

  • A numerical simulation was performed to investigate the internal flow characteristics in gas turbine nozzle by the variation of flow area of the nozzle. In general the area of turbine nozzle is chosen by the most substantial factor on performance improvement of turbine at the first stage. In the performances test through CFD analysis for three types of nozzle with conventional, enlarged and reduced area, reduced one with effective flow area (EFA) was the most efficient. That is the minimum effective value within EFA limit defined by the manual of technical order had a good performance. It is useful to avoid the low power problem in the test of performance after maintenance and overhaul of turbine engine.
