Kyung-Ki province, Korea. Data were collected by using guestionnaires, from April, 10th to 30th 2001 and analyzed by the SPSS PC+ program using qui-square The results are summarized as follows : 1. The proportion of drinking and smoking experience was 42.4%, 3.7%. The motivation of drug use was advised family and relatives (46.1%), doctor's order(39.4%), magazine and advertisement(14.5%). Most of middle aged women get the information on knowledge of drug from hospital (47.3%), magazines and advertisement(30.3%), advised family and relatives(22.4%). And 57.9% of the middle aged women didn't know side effect of the using drug and 13.9% of the middle aged women have had experienced with side effect. And the level of attitude on drug abuse in middle aged women was 43%. Most of the subjects(93.9%) didn't use alternative drugs, and they used more than 3 kinds of drugs(47%). 2. They used digestives(44.2%), applying ointments (41.8%), drinks (39.4%), analgesics (39.1%), laxatives(8.8%), anti hypertension drugs (33%), and anti-anemic drugs(8.8%) in their orders.
Introduction: Surgical robot is the alternative instrument that substitutes the difficult and precise surgical operation; should have intuitiveness operationally to transfer natural motions. There are limitations of hand motion derived from contacting mechanical handle in the surgical robot master interface such as mechanical singularity, isotropy, coupling problems. In this paper, we will confirm and verify the feasibility of intuitive Non-restraint master interface which tracking the hand motion using infra-red camera and only 3 reflective markers without the hardware handle for the surgical robot master interface. Materials & methods: We configured S/W and H/W system; arranged 6 infra-red cameras and attached 3 reflective markers on hands for measuring 3 dimensional coordinate then we find the 7 motions of grasp, yaw, pitch, roll, px, py, pz. And we connected Virtual-Master to the slave surgical robot(Laparobot) and observed the feasibility. To verify the result of motion, we compare the result of Non-restraint master and that of clinometer (and protractor) through measuring 0~180 degree, 10degree interval, 1000 samples and recorded standard deviation stands for error rate of the value. Results: We confirmed that the average angle values of Non-restraint master interface is accurately corresponds to the result of clinometer (and protractor) and have low error rates during motion. Investigation & Conclusion: In this paper, we confirmed the feasibility and accuracy of 3D Non-restraint master interface that can offer the intuitive motion of non-contact hardware handle. As a result, we can expect the high intuitiveness, dexterousness of surgical robot.
A novel jewelry master pattern manufacturing process which reduce manufacturing steps by employing a Duraform rapid prototyping mold and a low melting alloy has been suggested. The novel process follows the steps of 'jewelry 3D CAD design ${\rightarrow}$ Durafrom RP mold ${\rightarrow}$ low melting alloy master pattern' while the previous process follows more complicated steps of 'jewelry idea sketch ${\rightarrow}$ detailed drawing ${\rightarrow}$ wax carving ${\rightarrow}$ flask ${\rightarrow}$ silver master pattern.' An upper and a lower part of molds have been manufactured of Duraform powder, of which melting point is $190^{\circ}C$. A maser pattern was manufactured by pouring a low melting alloy of Pb-Sn-Bi-Cd, so called Woods Metal, of which melting point is $70^{\circ}C$, into the mold. The master pattern is a shape of a disk of 20mm diameter that contains various design factors. The variations of dimensions, surface roughness, surface pore ratio were measured by an optical microscope, a surface roughness profilometer, and a Rockwell hardness tester. The pattern made of were maeasured by an optical microscope, a surface roughness profilometer, and a Rockwell hardness tester. The pattern made of low melting alloy has sufficient surface hardness, and surface pore ratio to be used as the jewelry master pattern.
Comparing to the gravimetric and volumetric method, the flowmeter calibration based on the master meter method is relatively economical and convenient, especially for high flowrate. The uncertainty of flow quantity and flowrate using the master meter method was evaluated according to the GUM (Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement). In order to apply for the wider flow range, two master meters (electromagnetic flow meter) were employed as reference flowmeters. The uncertainty of the master meter was obtained by combining the statistical variation of the repeated measurements and the variation of fluid density and pipe material due to temperature and pressure changes were scrutinized. for a practical application, the uncertainty of calibrator, whose measuring capacity of 1000 ㎥/h obtained by employing two 500 ㎥/h electromagnetic How meters, was evaluated. The uncertainty budget shows the quantitative contribution of each uncertainty component to the overall uncertainty of the calibrator. As a result, it was found that the dominant uncertainties were from the master meter, which was evaluated statistically, and from the process of least squares fitting. On the contrary, the uncertainties arising from the variation of the fluid density and the pipe volume due to the temperature and pressure were negligible.
Cam mechanism is a machine part frequently used in machinery. Specially, conjugate cam mechanism is very suitable for the high speed working and the heavy power translation. Then a conjugate cam mechanism need high precision for the relations between cam profiles and follower rollers. So, its design and manufacturing are very difficult. Thus, this study is a branch of exclusive CAM systems for design and NC machining of conjugate earn mechanism based on a master plate earn profile in order to exchange an old plate cam mechanism to a new conjugate earn mechanism. For the design of the other cam profile by using a master cam profile, some calculation processes were used by vector summation methods, from master cam profile data to the center data of master follower, from the center data of master follower to the center data of the other follower considered in link mechanism, and offsetting in the center direction of base circle of the other cam from the center data of the other follower. Finally, a sample conjugate cam was selected and machined m order to prove the contents of this study.
This paper is to evaluate the campus master plan, which is influenced by Korean educational policy and managing organization, with respect to land use and block plans of buildings. It uses a case study method to periodically know specific details to form a master plan. It is found, at first, that design method of master plan was influenced by some educational policies and managing organization of ministry of education. Secondly, design methods have been changed according to the change of the times. Any master plan was not formulated until the 1960s. Seoul National University formed a master plan adopting radiated sector pattern for land use and a block plan in the early years of the 1970s. Chungnam National University used a squared space style with a trouble of the learned from the SNU design methods in the year 1974. A concept of axis according to topography] in Andong National University and environmental preservation in Yiosu National University was used in the 1980s. Korean Athletic Educational University used a transportation model for facilitating efficiency to use university land and making pedestrian convenient by classification with fast and slow walker's way.
Bluetooth is an emerging technology expected to provide users with short range, low cost, pico-cellular wireless connectivity. The access to the medium for Bluetooth is based on a Master driven Time Division Duplexing (TDD) scheme. A slave transmits packets in the reverse slot only after the master polls the slave (or transmits a packet to the slave) in a forward slot. The master transmits packets to a slave in even slots while the slave transmits packets to the master in an odd slot. The way in which the master schedules packets transmission to slaves or polls them determines system performance. In this paper. we propose a traffic adaptive MAC scheduling scheme for Bluetooth. The proposed scheme adopts the ISAR (Intelligent Segmentation and Reassembly) policy, which adjusts the packet size to the traffic patterns, to adapt the polling frequency to the traffic conditions. Also for achieving fairness among master-slave connections our scheme includes a priority policy assinging prioritised service tlimes to each connection. By considering a scenario where a Bluetooth master is used as wireless access point to the Internet, we show that our scheme improve the system throughput and average queue delay with regard to a naive Round Robin (RR) scheme.
In this research, a novel mater arm was studied as a teaching device for an underwater revolute robot arm used as a slave arm. The master arm was designed to be a seven-degree-of-freedom (DOF) structure, with a structure similar to that of the slave arm, and to be desktop size to allow it to be worn on a human arm. The master arm with encoders on the joints was used as an input device for teaching a slave robot arm. In addition, small electric magnets were installed at the joints of the master arm to generate the haptic force. A control system was designed to sense excessive force and torque in the joints of the master arm and protect it by controlling the position and velocity of the slave arm through the encoder signal of the master arm.
