태양계 행성의 고정확도 위치계산에 과한 연구(II) (SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-PRECISION EPHEMERIDES OF SOLAR SYSTEM (II))

  • 상대론올 포함한 행성의 운동방정식을 중심으로 9개의 행성과 달, 그리고 4개의 소행성을 포함한 태양계의 n체 문제를 다루었다. 이 기본방정식에 지구와 달의 figure potential과 지구의 solid tidal effect를 외력으로 하는 섭동방정식을 추가하였다. 지구의 orientation을 J2000.0을 기준으로 하는 세차와 장동에 관한 식을 채택하였고, 달의 orientation에 대해 서는 J2000.0을 기준으로 하는 달의 칭동 모델을 션택하고 Eckert의 행성섭동효과를 추가 하였다. 각각의 subroutine별로 테스트를 거쳐 이들을 결합하여‘SSEG (Solar System Ephemerides Generator)’ 라는 소프트웨어 package를 개발한 후, CRAY-2S 슈퍼컴퓨터를 사용하여 프로그램을 수행하였다. 기준 시각인 JD2440400.5를 기준으로 하여, 1일 간격으로 40,000일 (약 110년) 동안 각 행성의 위치 (태양중심 황도직교좌표값)를 계산한 후, 이 결과의 정확도를 검증하기 위하여 JPL의 DE200 자료와 우리의 결과를 비교하였다. 이 연구로부터 얻은 결과로서 행성들의 위치 성분에 대한 최대오차가 100년 동안 $\pm2\times10^{-8}AU(약\pm3km)$ 이하로 나타났다

복합안전주입탱크(Hybrid SIT) 설계개념 (Design Concept of Hybrid SIT)

  • The recent Fukushima nuclear power plant accidents shows that the core make up at high RCS pressure condition is very important to prevent core melting. The core make up flow at high pressure condition should be driven by gravity force or passive forces because the AC-powered safety features are not available during a Station Black Out (SBO) accident. The reactor Coolant System (RCS) mass inventory is continuously decreased by releasing steam through the pressurizer safety valves after reactor trip during a SBO accident. The core will be melted down within 2~3 hours without core make up action by active or passive mode. In the new design concept of a Hybrid Safety Injection Tank (Hybrid SIT) both for low and high RCS pressure conditions, the low pressure nitrogen gas serves as a charging pressure for a LBLOCA injection mode, while the PZR high pressure steam provides an equalizing pressure for a high pressure injection mode such as a SBO accident. After the pressure equalizing process by battery driven initiation valve at a high pressure SBO condition, the Hybrid SIT injection water will be passively injected into the reactor downcomer by gravity head. The SBO simulation by MARS code show that the core makeup injection flow through the Hybrid SIT continued up to the SIT empty condition, and the core heatup is delayed as much.

CORE THERMAL HYDRAULIC BEHAVIOR DURING THE REFLOOD PHASE OF COLD-LEG LBLOCA EXPERIMENTS USING THE ATLAS TEST FACILITY

  • Several experimental tests to simulate a reflood phase of a cold-leg LBLOCA of the APR1400 have been performed using the ATLAS facility. This paper describes the related experimental results with respect to the thermal-hydraulic behavior in the core and the system-core interactions during the reflood phase of the cold-leg LBLOCA conditions. The present descriptions will be focused on the LB-CL-09, LB-CL-11, LB-CL-14, and LB-CL-15 tests performed using the ATLAS. The LB-CL-09 is an integral effect test with conservative boundary condition; the LB-CL-11 and -14 are integral effect tests with realistic boundary conditions, and the LB-CL-15 is a separated effect test. The objectives of these tests are to investigate the thermal-hydraulic behavior during an entire reflood phase and to provide reliable experimental data for validating the LBLOCA analysis methodology for the APR1400. The initial and boundary conditions were obtained by applying scaling ratios to the MARS simulation results for the LBLOCA scenario of the APR1400. The ECC water flow rate from the safety injection tanks and the decay heat were simulated from the start of the reflood phase. The simulated core power was controlled to be 1.2 times that of the ANS-73 decay heat curve for LB-CL-09 and 1.02 times that of the ANS-79 decay curve for LB-CL-11, -14, and -15. The simulated ECC water flow rate from the high pressure safety injection pump was 0.32 kg/s. The present experimental data showed that the cladding temperature behavior is closely related to the collapsed water level in the core and the downcomer.

산화제 공급압력이 감소하는 환경에서 하이브리드 로켓 추력제어 (Hybrid Rocket Thrust Control in an Environment With Decreasing Oxidizer Supply Pressure)

  • 우주탐사 임무를 수행하기 위해서는 탐사선에 수직이착륙 기능이 필수적으로 탑재되어야 한다. 수직이착륙을 위해서는 탐사선의 엔진이 적절한 추력제어 정확도와 짧은 응답시간을 가져야 한다. 하이브리드 로켓은 이러한 조건을 만족할 수 있는 높은 수준의 추력제어 능력을 갖고 있다. 이 연구는 개발한 하이브리드 로켓 엔진의 추력제어 성능이 수직이착륙에 적절한지 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 가압장치 없이 공급압력이 감소하는 산화제 공급시스템을 적용한 엔진을 사용하여 약 10초 내외의 임무를 수행하고자 하였고, 공급압력 감소가 추력제어 정확도와 응답시간에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 실험결과에 의하면 적절한 감소율과 초기 압력 수준이 추력제어 정확도와 응답시간에 중요한 영향을 미치는 인자로 확인되었으며 고도제어 시뮬레이션을 통해 추력제어 성능을 검증했다.

Study on a Suspension of a Planetary Exploration Rover to Improve Driving Performance During Overcoming Obstacles

  • The planetary exploration rover executes various missions after moving to the target point in an unknown environment in the shortest distance. Such missions include the researches for geological and climatic conditions as well as the existence of water or living creatures. If there is any obstacle on the way, it is detected by such sensors as ultrasonic sensor, infrared light sensor, stereo vision, and laser ranger finder. After the obtained data is transferred to the main controller of the rover, decisions can be made to either overcome or avoid the obstacle on the way based on the operating algorithm of the rover. All the planetary exploration rovers which have been developed until now receive the information of the height or width of the obstacle from such sensors before analyzing it in order to find out whether it is possible to overcome the obstacle or not. If it is decided to be better to overcome the obstacle in terms of the operating safety and the electric consumption of the rover, it is generally made to overcome it. Therefore, for the purpose of carrying out the planetary exploration task, it is necessary to design the proper suspension system of the rover which enables it to safely overcome any obstacle on the way on the surface in any unknown environment. This study focuses on the design of the new double 4-bar linkage type of suspension system applied to the Korea Aerospace Research Institute rover (a tentatively name) that is currently in the process of development by our institute in order to develop the planetary exploration rover which absolutely requires the capacity of overcoming any obstacle. Throughout this study, the negative moment which harms the capacity of the rover for overcoming an obstacle was induced through the dynamical modeling process for the rocker-bogie applied to the Mars exploration rover of the US and the improved version of rocker-bogie as well as the suggested double 4-bar linkage type of suspension system. Also, based on the height of the obstacle, a simulation was carried out for the negative moment of the suspension system before the excellence of the suspension system suggested through the comparison of responding characteristics was proved.

  • KAERI has been operating an integral effect test facility, ATLAS (Advanced Thermal-Hydraulic Test Loop for Accident Simulation), for accident simulations of advanced PWRs. Regarding integral effect tests, a database for major design basis accidents has been accumulated and a Domestic Standard Problem (DSP) exercise using the ATLAS has been proposed and successfully performed. The ATLAS DSP aims at the effective utilization of an integral effect database obtained from the ATLAS, the establishment of a cooperative framework in the domestic nuclear industry, better understanding of thermal hydraulic phenomena, and an investigation of the potential limitations of the existing best-estimate safety analysis codes. For the first ATLAS DSP exercise (DSP-01), integral effect test data for a 100% DVI line break accident of the APR1400 was selected by considering its technical importance and by incorporating comments from participants. Twelve domestic organizations joined in this DSP-01 exercise. Finally, ten of these organizations submitted their calculation results. This ATLAS DSP-01 exercise progressed as an open calculation; the integral effect test data was delivered to the participants prior to the code calculations. The MARS-KS was favored by most participants but the RELAP5/MOD3.3 code was also used by a few participants. This paper presents all the information of the DSP-01 exercise as well as the comparison results between the calculations and the test data. Lessons learned from the first DSP-01 are presented and recommendations for code users as well as for developers are suggested.

UML 객체지향 분석모델의 완전성 및 일관성 진단을 위한 시나리오기반 검증기법 (Scenario-Driven Verification Method for Completeness and Consistency Checking of UML Object-Oriented Analysis Model)

  • 본 논문에서 제안하는 시나리오기반 검증기법의 목적은 UML로 작성된 객체지향 분석모델의 완전성 및 일관성을 진단하는 것이다. 검증기법의 전체 절차는 요구분석을 위한 Use Case 모델링 과정에서 생성되는 Use Case 시나리오와 UML 분석모델로부터 역공학적 방법으로 도출된 객체행위 시나리오와의 상호참조과정 및 시나리오 정보트리 추적과정을 이용하여 단계적으로 수행된다. 본 검증절차를 위하여 우선, UML로 작성된 객체지향 분석모델들은 우선 정형명세언어를 사용하여 Use Case 정형명세로 변환하다. 그 다음에, Use Case 정형명세로부터 해당 Use Case 내의 객체의 정적구조를 표현하는 시나리오 정보트리를 구축하고, Use Case 정형명세 내에 포함되어 있는 객체 동적행위 정보인 메시지 순차에 따라 개별 시나리오흐름을 시나리오 정보트리에 표현한다. 마지막으로 시나리오 정보트리 추적과 시나리오 정보 테이블 참조과정을 중심으로 완전성 및 일관성 검증작업을 수행한다. 즉, 검증하고자 하는 해당 Use Case의 시나리오 정보트리를 이용한 시나리오 추적과정을 통해 생성되는 객체행위 시나리오와 요구분석 과정에서 도출되는 Use Case 시나리오와의 일치여부를 조사하여 분석모델과 사용자 요구사양과의 완전성을 검사한다. 그리고, 시나리오 추적과정을 통해 수집되는 시나리오 관련종보들을 가지고 시나리오 정보 테이블을 작성한 후, 분석과정에서 작성된 클래스 관련정보들의 시나리오 포함 여부를 확인하여 분석모델의 일관성을 검사한다. 한편, 본 논문에서 제안하는 검증기법의 효용성을 증명하기 위해 대학의 수강등록시스템 개발을 위해 UML을 이용해 작성된 분석모델을 특정한 사례로써 적용하여 보았다. 프로세싱 오버헤드 및 메모리와 대역폭 요구량 측면에서 MARS 모델보다 유리함을 알 수 있었다.과는 본 논문에서 제안된 프리페칭 기법이 효율적으로 peak bandwidth를 줄일 수 있다는 것을 나타낸다.ore complicate such a prediction. Thus, in this paper, we quantitatively analyze the impacts of overestimation sources on the accuracy of the worst case timing analysis.
