The basic for the achievement of the community forestry rests within the Community Forest User Groups (CFUGs). They are responsible to establish good governance, sustainable forest management and improve people's livelihoods. The study aimed to assess the governance score prevailing in CFUGs using stratified random sampling. Our study shows the governance score of 64.17% in community forests with highest 73.94% in Bhotechaur community forest and lowest 56.60% in Tinkanya community forest. Among the eight elements of good governance, consensus-oriented was found highest while responsiveness was lowest in the study area. Further, the independent variables such as well-being ranking (χ2=21.695, df=6, p<0.01), source of income (χ2=20.474, df=6, p<0.01) and education status (χ2=17.450, df=6, p<0.01) has significant impact on governance. Based upon the findings, it is very clear that good governance in CFs are more than average but still not up to the mark. Finally, it calls for rethinking that involving all the stakeholders during planning phases delineating the responsibility and power for correspondents can make possible in achieving sustainability in community forest.

As Islam supports fair trade, the Murabaha is the most popular and most common mode of Islamic financing. It is a contract of sale between the bank and its client for the sale of goods at a price plus an agreed profit margin for the bank. The contract involves the purchase of goods by the bank which then sells them to the client at an agreed mark-up. While their characteristics and values are unique, they are also subject to conventional measurement of efficacies. This study investigates how the primary health predictors of conventional banks under the Basel III regime could provide a positive means to assess the Murabaha funding and subsequently secure long-term profitability. This study constructed a path analysis (from 120 databases) to assess whether Islamic banks' leverage and capital adequacy may alter the Murabaha funding and increase stock equity directly and indirectly. The research findings are mixed where leverage does not alter the Murabaha funding but only affects the profitability; besides, capital adequacy increases the outgoing funding significantly but does not increase stock equity. Murabaha funding is essential to Islamic bank equity. This study implies Murabaha funding are expensed, despite increasing debts in Islamic banks.

Recently BIM technology has been expanded for using in construction project. However its spread has been delayed than the initial expectations, due to the high-cost of BIM infrastructure development, the lack of regulations, the lack of process and so forth. In construction site phase, especially the analysis of current research trend about IT technologies, virtualization and BIM service, data exchange such as drawing, 3D model, object data, properties using cloud computing and virtual server system is defined as a most successful solution. The purpose of this study is enable the cloud computing BIM server to provide several main function such as edit a model, 3D model viewer and checker, mark-up, snapshot in high-performance quality by proper design of VDI system. Concurrent client connection performance is a main technical index of VDI. Through test-bed server client, developed VDI system's multi-connect control will be evaluated. The performance-test result of BIM server VDI will effect to development direction of cloud computing BIM service for commercialization.

A bullet launcher can be developed as a smart instrument, especially for use in the military section, that can track, identify, detect, mark, lock, and shoot a target by implementing an image-processing system. In this research, the application of object recognition system, laser encoding as a unique marker, 2-dimensional movement, and pneumatic as a shooter has been studied intensively. The results showed that object recognition system could detect various colors, patterns, sizes, and laser blinking. Measuring the average error value of the object distance by using the camera is ±4, ±5, and ±6% for circle, square and triangle form respectively. Meanwhile, the average accuracy of shots on objects is 95.24% and 85.71% in indoor and outdoor conditions respectively. Here, the average prototype response time is 1.11 s. Moreover, the highest accuracy rate of shooting results at 50 cm was obtained 98.32%.

The practical application of REBCO coated conductor (CC) tapes, vital for energy transmission (e.g., cable application) and high-field magnets (e.g., coil application), necessitates efficient and simple quality assessment procedures. This study introduces a systematic approach to assess the electromechanical properties of REBCO CC tapes under 77 K and self-field conditions. The approach involves customized tensile and bending tests that clarify the critical current (Ic) response of the CC tapes under mechanical loads induced by tension and bending. This study measures the retained Ic values of commercially available GdBCO CC tapes under 250 MPa tensile stress and 40 mm bending diameter. Through experimentation, the study demonstrates the resilience of these tapes and their suitability for applications. By presenting a simplified stress-based analysis and a bending test of the tapes, the study contributes to effective quality assessment methods for the development of practical superconducting products.

A new synthesis process for nano laminating Ti$_3$SiC$_2$ has been developed using TiCx (x=0.67) and Si powder as starting materials by a reaction hot pressing. Bulk Ti$_3$SiC$_2$ was fabricated using a green body consisting of TiCx and Si by a hot pressing under the pressures of 25 MPa at 1420-1550 $^{\circ}C$ for 90 min. The synthesized Ti$_3$SiC$_2$ was consisting of only TiCx and Ti$_3$SiC$_2$. The relative density of sintered bulk Ti$_3$SiC$_2$ was increased as the hot pressing temperature was increased, which was mainly due to the increase in TiCx contents in synthesized Ti$_3$SiC$_2$. The synthesized Ti$_3$SiC$_2$ bulk was consisted of nano sized lamella structure of 20-100 nm in thickness. It was found that TiCx particles in Ti$_3$SiC$_2$ would increase the 3-point bending strength of synthesized Ti$_3$SiC$_2$ bulk. The maximum 3-P. bending strength of synthesized Ti$_3$SiC$_2$ bulk was more than 800 MPa. The Vickers hardness of synthesized Ti$_3$SiC$_2$bulk was as low as 5 Gpa, which was decreased with the indentation load. The quasi-plastic deformation behaviors were observed around indentation mark on Ti$_3$SiC$_2$.
Three-dimensional topological data is essential for 3D modeling and application such as emergency management and 3D network analysis. This paper reviewed current 3D topological data model and developed a method to construct 3D topological node-relation data structure from 2D computer aided design (CAD) data. The method needed two steps with medial axis-transformation and topological node-relation algorithms. Using a medial-axis transformation algorithm, the first step is to extract skeleton from wall data that was drawn polygon or double line in a CAD data. The second step is to build a topological node-relation structure by converting rooms to nodes and the relations between rooms to links. So, links represent adjacency and connectivity between nodes (rooms). As a result, with the conversion method 3D topological data for micro-level sub-unit of each building can be easily constructed from CAD data that are commonly used to design a building as a blueprint.

Recently, the velocity of sea-level rising has increased due to the global warming and the natural disasters have been occurred many times. Therefore, there are various demands for the integration of vertical reference datums for the ocean and land areas in order to develop a coastal area and prevent a natural disaster. Currently, the vertical datum for the ocean area refers to Local Mean Sea Level(LMSL) and the vertical datum for the land area is based on Incheon Mean Sea Level(IMSL). This study uses 31 points of Tidal Gauge Bench Mark (TGBM) in order to compares and analyzes the geometric heights referring LMSL, IMSL, and the nationally determined geoid surface. 11 points of comparable data are biased more than 10 cm when the geometric heights are compared. It seems to be caused by the inflow of river, the relocation of Tidal Gauge Station, and the topographic change by harbor construction. Also, this study analyze the inclination of sea surface which is the difference between IMSL and LMSL, and it shows the inclination of sea surface increases from the western to southern, and eastern seas. In this study, it is shown that TGBM can be used to integrate vertical datums for the ocean and land areas. In order to integrate the vertical datums, there need more surveying data connecting the ocean to the land area, also cooperation between Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Administration and National Geographic Information Institute. It is expected that the integrated vertical datum can be applied to the development of coastal area and the preventative of natural disaster.

Background Numerous Dupuytren's fasciectomy techniques have been described, each associated with unique surgical challenges, complications and recurrence rates. We describe a common ground surgical approach to Dupuytren's disease; 3-dimensional fasciectomy (3DF). 3DF aims to address the potential contributors to the high recurrence rate of Dupuytren's disease and unite current limited fasciectomy practice that varies considerably between surgeons. Methods We describe the 3DF principles; raising thin skin flaps (addressing dermal involvement), excising diseased palmar fascia with a 3-5 mm clearance margin (treating highly locally recurrent conditions) and excising the vertical septae of Legueu and Juvara (providing deep clearance, hence addressing all potentially involved pathological tissue). The surgical outcomes between traditional limited fasciectomy (LF) and 3DF are compared. Results From the 786 operations included (n=585), postoperative recurrence rates were significantly lower for the 3DF group (2/145, 1.4%) than the LF group (72/641, 11.2%) (P= 0.001), and the time to recurrence was significantly longer ($5.0{\pm}0years$ vs. $4.0{\pm}0.2years$; P<0.0001). With recurrence excluded, there were no differences between the postoperative complication rates for 3DF (5/145, 3.5%) and LF (41/641, 6.4%) (P=0.4). Conclusions Our results suggest that 3DF leads to lower recurrence rates and a longer disease-free period for patients, without increasing complications. 3DF provides a safe, efficacious, common ground surgical approach in the treatment of Dupuytren's flexion deformity.
