이진값을 가지는 이진 시스템을 모델화하고 설계하여 구현할 수 있도록 Petri Net의 한 부류인 박스의 마크수가 최대 1인 안전(safe)한 확장된 마크흐름선도(EMFG : Extended Mark Flow Graph)를 재구성하였다. 레벨박스와 펄스박스 및 게이트박스를 하나의 박스로 통일하였으며, 보존아크를 제거하고 서로 상반되는 개념을 가지는 일반아크와 역아크만을 사용하였고, 특히 트랜지션의 출력아크로 새로이 역아크를 도입함으로써 EMFG의 표현을 명확하게 하였다. 또한 EMFG에서 자기루프를 정의하였다. 그리고 이진 시스템을 모델링한 EMFG를 실제회로로 구현하는 방법이 새로이 제시되었다.

The navigation problem for a mobile robot is investigated. Specifically, it is proposed that simple guide-marks be introduced and the navigation scheme be generated in conjunction with the guide-marks sensed through camera vision. For autonomous navigation, it was shown that a triple guide-mark system is more effective than a single guide-mark in estimating the position and orientation of mobile robot itself. The navigation system is tested via a mobile robot HERO-I equipped with a single camera in laboratory environment.

The bivariate data in clinical research fields often has two types of failure times, which are mark variable for the first failure time and the final failure time. This paper showed how to generate bootstrap data to get Bayesian estimation for the joint distribution of bivariate survival times. The observed data was generated by Frank's family and the fake date is simulated with the Gamma prior of survival time. The bootstrap data was obtained by combining the mimic data with the observed data and the simulated fake data from the observed data.

For modified gravity models with screening mechanisms, the signal of modified gravity is larger at low density areas. We could add a density weighted mark to galaxy correlation function and increase the signal to noise of modified gravity detection. Based on mock galaxy catalogs from modified gravity simulations, we try different mark functions and parameters to find the best choices for discreminating modified gravity from GR. In this talk I will present our marked correlation funciton results and discuss its advantages and disadvantages.

Hiatal hernia is a rare disease in Korea compared to western countries. It is even rarer to find the one that requires operation after unsuccessful medical treatments. We operated three cases of hiatal hernia with gastroesophageal reflux by Belsey-Mark IV procedure. One case developed paraesophageal hernia postoperatively and we performed laparotomy to correct the complication. Postoperatively, all three cases showed satisfactory results clinically and radiographically.

Traffic monitoring plays an important role in intelligent transportation systems. It can be used to collect real-time traffic data concerning traffic flow. Passive shadows resulted from roadside buildings or trees and active shadows caused by moving vehicles, are one of the factors that arise errors in vision based vehicle detection. In this paper, a land mark based method is proposed for vehicle detection and shadow rejection, and finally vehicle count are achieved based on the land mark detection method.

This study is for the development of Cover Glass Grinding Processing System. This system is developed for manufacturing a mass product system grinding cover glasses with highly precise mechanism, and we improved resulted quality. In the development process, we developed a complete process technology through mechanical design, image processing technology, spindle control, mark identification algorithm etc. With this cover glass grinding development, we could developed process technology, image processing technology, organization mechanisms and control algorithms.
