This paper presents three mathematical programming approaches to solving transshipment problems with interval supply and demand requirements. A linear goal programming model was developed based on the data obtained from a nationwide retail firm. Three mathematical programming model results were compared and analyzed, and three separate hypotheses were examined by using the Wilcoxon signed-ranked test for the model applicability. The test results were analyzed and interpreted for decision making.

This paper presents an improved IS(Information System) project selection methodology through the ANP(Analytic Network Process) method within a Goal Programming model framework. This new methodology helps us to overcome the weaknesses according to the dependence for each element and the feedback effects in hierarchy level of the AHP and the GP models. A simple numerical example and limits of this methodology reviewed.

The selection criteria of the Authorized Stockage List(ASL) in the Army is based on Army Regulation(AR)409, the selection method of ASL is not considered in cost, weight and volume of repair parts. This paper is focused on developing for a new selection model taking account of cost, weight and volume of repair parts. This model is applied to data of a division. The ASL selected in the model is more reduced in cost, weight and volume than that of the previous method.

The goal of this article is to ascertain the factors that govern consumers' choosing to outbound travel product. The authors assess the consumers' travel product choosing processes with information search(internal knowledge, external information knowledge). alternative evaluation(perceived image, emotional experience, price acceptability, appeal, trust), and alternative choice(purchasing intention). Using data on Thailand travel product, the authors find considerable results and conclude by discussing prescriptive recommendations for the travel industry.

Flash memories are one of best media to support portable computer's storages. However, we need to improve traditional data management scheme due to the relatively slow characteristics of flash operation as compared to RAM memory. In order to achieve this goal, we devise a new scheme called Flash Two Phase Locking (F2PL) scheme for efficient data processing. F2PL improves transaction performance by allowing multi version reads and efficiently handling slow flash write/erase operation in lock management process.

The objective of this paper is to provide an inventory control policy for the system that carries a single item with a multiple demand classes, when the demand is Poisson distributed random variable. The inventory control process includes the process of determining the reorder point, and the process of inventory control during the lead time. The goal of the optimization process is to achieve the service level of each demand class as well as the system-wide total service level at a preset desired service level while sustaining a minimum average inventory.

The productivity can be explained as a measurement of effectiveness that is calculated by "the ratio of what is produced to what is required to produce it". The research project evaluates different infrastructure project delivery methods used internationally. The goal is to define the main benefits, deficiencies, and requirements of the project delivery systems for both the short term and long term perspectives. Also, the research attempts to determine alternatives to modify and to promote change in the current infrastructure project delivery methods in order to make the processes more efficient with value added benefits to all participants.
