Jansen Mechanism 과 m.Sketch 를 활용한 보행 로봇의 안전 최적 설계. (Design of optimized legged robots for safety structure using Jansen Mechanism and m.Sketch)

  • Jansen Mechanism has been a constant popularity by researchers studying legged robots because of many benefits. This paper proposed the design process of optimized legged robots using Jansen Mechanism and m.Sketch(Jansen Mechanism simulation software). First, driving part of legged robots is designed in compliance with the design regulations of a competitive exhibition. Second, setting the length of link and position of joint is conducted in keeping with the constraints. Third, Ground Length (GL) and Ground Angle Coefficient(GAC) values are extracted by m.Sketch simulation. Finally, by repeating the previous procedures, comparing the GL and GAC values, find the optimum input values. This.

m-shaper: 음악적 형태 생성을 위한 스케치 드로잉 시스템 (m-shaper: A Sketch Drawing System for Musical Shape Generation)

  • 본 논문은 음악적 형태 생성을 위한 스케치 드로잉 시스템, 엠쉐이퍼 (이하 m-shaper)를 제안한다. 간단한 스케치 드로잉을 통해 사용자들은 컴퓨터로 바로 연주가 가능한 음악적 형태를 구성할 수 있다. m-shaper는 드로잉 특징을 규정하는 변수를 획득하고 이를 이용하여 음표와 형태를 제작한다. 타블렛을 이용하여 4가지 스케치 움직임 정보, 압력, 회전각도, 기울기 각도, 속도 정보를 감지한다. 형태를 구성하는 각각의 점은 악기 종류, 음길이, 음높낮이, 옥타브를 표현하는 특정음표에 매핑된다. 현재 m-shaper 시스템은 디자인 초기단계를 지원하는 컴퓨터 연산도구로 개발되었다. 디자이너는 음악적 영감을 받으며 기하학적인 스케치를 그리고 개념 형태를 탐색할 수 있다. 디자이너들은 관련 제어값을 조절하면서 결과물을 조절하고 스케치 드로잉을 변형할 수 있다.

  • This paper proposed a m.Sketch to search the optimal link lengths for a legged walking robot. In order to apply the m.Sketch for the proposed, set the design parameters of the constraints and use the m.Skecth to get optimal GL(Groud Length) and GAC(Ground Angle Coefficient). The legged robot designed based on four-bar linkage theory and Theo Jansen mechanism. The stride length of the legged walking robot was defined based on the proposed kinematic analysis. Use the Edison Design m.Sketch simulate and find the optimal link length having the best of the Ground Length (GL) and Ground Angle Coefficient(GAC). And use these length implemented the Theo Jansen mechanism both in Science box parts and acrylic. In addition to the further expansion of the legs to reach the goaltranslating heavy objects or person.

  • In this paper, we propose a verifiable image transformation networks to transform face sketch to photo and vice versa. Face sketch-photo is very popular in computer vision applications. It has been used in some specific official departments such as law enforcement and digital entertainment. There are several existing face sketch-photo synthesizing methods that use feed-forward convolution neural networks; however, it is hard to assure whether the results of the methods are well mapped by depending only on loss values or accuracy results alone. In our approach, we use two Resnet encoder-decoder networks as image transformation networks. One is for sketch-photo and another is for photo-sketch. They depend on each other to verify their output results during training. For example, using photo-sketch transformation networks to verify the photo result of sketch-photo by inputting the result to the photo-sketch transformation networks and find loss between the reversed transformed result with ground-truth sketch. Likely, we can verify the sketch result as well in a reverse way. Our networks contain two loss functions such as sketch-photo loss and photo-sketch loss for the basic transformation stages and the other two-loss functions such as sketch-photo verification loss and photo-sketch verification loss for the verification stages. Our experiment results on CUFS dataset achieve reasonable results compared with the state-of-the-art approaches.

  • SketchUP은 최근 인기를 얻고 있는 3D 모델링 도구지만, 3D 프린터용 표준 파일 포맷인 STL을 지원하지 않는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 SketchUp에서 만든 3D 모델(FBX)을 불러 와서 사용하고, STL로 변환할 수 있는 프로그램을 구현하는 방법을 논한다.

  • In this paper, we present a method to automatically generate a color pencil sketch image from a photo. First the image is converted into a sketch using a gradient estimation and then the color pencil sketch is produced by linear interpolation with original image and the sketched image. The experimental results show that the final image has a visual aspect of a color pencil sketch like image.

  • This study has designed a walking mechanism that is able to pass by a variety of environments, such as slope, obstructions, special surface in there, the mechanism suggested by Janssen has shown an ideal bridge structure made of 11 joints. V in the study, these programs are use that is m-sketch, m-designer, Janssen mechanism optimization solver for the optimum design of m-sketch, 3D component reflecting the given strip dimension is used because there is a limit in the given. As a result, a stable mechanism for walking could be implemented.

  • In this paper, the multi-leg robot is designed using Teo Jansen mechanism. The purpose of this paper is to develop unique robot, which operates efficiently in any environment. In that case, speed and accuracy are required. The indication which evaluate the value is Ground Score according to the Jansen's mechanism. To optimize the Ground Score. Genetic Algorithm (GA) in MATLAB Toolbox is used, which is numerical analytic algorithm to quickly convergence into optimum point. The Optimization of value is visualized by M-Sketch. M-Sketch was useful for simulation and evaluation of mechanic's dynamic motion. The robot's draft is produced into finished product by Edison Designer.

  • 3D 프린팅 기술의 발전을 위해서는 많은 사람들이 3D 프린팅 기술을 경험해보는 것 중요하다. 그러려면 3D 프린터와 이를 사용할 수 있는 소프트웨어가 필요하다. 시중에는 여러 가지의 3D 모델 도구가 보급되고 있다. 하지만 그 무엇도 입문자가 전문 지식 없이도 바로 사용할 수 있는 3D 모델링 도구는 없었다. 쉽다고 알려진 3D 모델링 도구인 SketchUp에서도 입문자가 사용하기엔 어렵기 때문에 우리는 3D 프린팅 입문자용 소프트웨어를 개발하였다.

  • In this study, important design factors in Jansen leg mechanism by which two legs can be driven by only one input like a motor are considered through method of transmitting motion in three-bar linkage and Grashof law in four-bar linkage. In preliminary design, by using EDISON m-sketch and its simulation which can observe trace of feet, two identical four-bar linkages are initially designed and two three-bar linkages are added to four-bar linkages sequentially. By analyzing GL(Ground Length) and GAC(Ground Angle Coefficient), the adequacy of the preliminary design was estimated. Final design of walking apparatus is implemented using CAD software, Assembly2 of EDISON Designer. Finally, proposals to improve software used in this study are suggested.
