Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring and let M be an Artinian R-module. Let M${\subseteq}$M′ be submodules of M. Suppose F is an R-module which is projective relative to M. Then it is shown that $Att_{R}$($Hom_{A}$ (F,M′) :$Hom_{A}$(F,M) $In^n$), n ${\in}$N and $Att_{R}$($Hom_{A}$(F,M′) :$Hom_{A}$(F,M) In$^n$ $Hom_{A}$(F,M") :$Hom_{A}$(F,M) $In^n$),n ${\in}$ N are ultimately constant.

최소 배지에 여러 아미노산을 첨가하여 배양시킨 Serratia marcescens ATCC 25419 세포 추출물에서 threonine dehydratase의 비활성을 조사한 결과 이소루신은 1~4mM에서 효소의 비활성을 100~140% 정도 증가시킨 반면 15~30mM에서 25~80% 정도 감소시켰다. 루신은 효소의 비활성을 1~120mM에서 60% 이상 감소시켰다. 한편, 발린은 효소의 비활성을 1~4mM에서 20% 정도, 8~10mM에서 10% 정도 감소시켰으나 20mM에서 효소의 비활성을 원래대로 회복시켰다. 각 2mM 농도의 이소루신과 발린 그리고 이소루신과 루신은 효소의 비활성을 각각 75, 50%씩 증가시킨 반면 세 아미노산을 각각 2과 10mM씩 동시 첨가했을 경우에는 각각 25, 58%씩 감소시켰다. 글리옥실산은 효소의 비활성을 75%, 이마다졸, 피루브산, $\alpha$-아미노부티르산 그리고 AMP는 모두 50%씩, 호모세린, $\alpha$-케토글루타르산, $\alpha$-케토부티르산 및 IPTG를 첨가했을 경우는 모두 25%씩 감소시켰다. cAMP는 효소의 비활성을 1~2mM에서 10~40% 정도 감소시킨 반면 10mM에서 80% 증가시켰다. 이러한 결과들로부터 S. marcescens threonine dehydratase는 E. coli K-12 효소와는 다르게 낮은 농도의 이소루신에 의해 효소의 비활성이 증가되고, 높은 농도의 이소루신 (10~30mM)에 의해서는 감소되는 등 이소루신 생합성 과정에서 조절 역할을 하는 것으로 생각된다.

The set of all $m\;{\times}\;n$ matrices with entries in $\mathbb{Z}_+$ is de­noted by $\mathbb{M}{m{\times}n}(\mathbb{Z}_+)$. We say that a linear operator T on $\mathbb{M}{m{\times}n}(\mathbb{Z}_+)$ is a (U, V)-operator if there exist invertible matrices $U\;{\in}\; \mathbb{M}{m{\times}n}(\mathbb{Z}_+)$ and $V\;{\in}\;\mathbb{M}{m{\times}n}(\mathbb{Z}_+)$ such that either T(X) = UXV for all X in $\mathbb{M}{m{\times}n}(\mathbb{Z}_+)$, or m = n and T(X) = $UX^{t}V$ for all X in $\mathbb{M}{m{\times}n}(\mathbb{Z}_+)$. In this paper we show that a linear operator T preserves the rank of matrices over the nonnegative integers if and only if T is a (U, V)­operator. We also obtain other characterizations of the linear operator that preserves rank of matrices over the nonnegative integers.

연안어장의 해저지형을 조사하기 위한 정밀음향측심시스템은 Public-DGPS 수신기. 싱글빔 음향측심기 및 측량용 소프트웨어로 구성하였으며, 그 유용성을 확인하기 위하여 정치망어장의 해저지형 특성 및 투입된 인공어초의 분포를 조사하였고 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 본 연구에서 사용한 public-DGPS 수신기의 위치측정오차는 DGPS 모드일 때와 GPS 모드일 때 각각 5.47 m, 7.03 m이었다. 2. 실험정치망어장의 수심은 9~10 m이었고 해저는 대체로 평탄하였으며 이 어장으로부터 남쪽으로 120 m 떨어진 곳에 깊이 1~2 m, 폭 10 m내외의 골이 존재하였다. 3. 자란만 부근의 인공어초 수역에는 20개의 사각형 어초 (L3$\times$W3$\times$H3 m)가 수심 15~25 m에 낱개로 투입되어 있었고, 이 인공어초군의 가까이에 높이 5~8 m의 자연초가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 4. 본 연구에서 구현한 정밀음향측심시스템은 인공어초사업의 적지선정을 위한 사전조사에 활용할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

In this study, recombinant Fc-fused Prostate acid phosphatase (PAP) proteins were produced in transgenic plants. PAP was fused to immunoglobulin (Ig) A and M Fc domain (PAP-IgA Fc and PAP-IgM Fc), which were tagged to the ER retention sequence KDEL to generate PAP-IgA FcK and PAP-IgM FcK. Agrobacterium-mediated transformation was performed to produce transgenic tobacco plants expressing four recombinant proteins. Genomic PCR and RT-PCR analyses confirmed the transgene insertion and mRNA transcription of PAP-IgA Fc, PAP-IgM Fc, PAP-IgA FcK, and PAP-IgM FcK in tobacco plant leaves. Western blot confirmed the expression of PAP-IgA Fc, PAP-IgM Fc, PAP-IgA FcK, and PAP-IgM FcK proteins. SEC-HPLC and Bio-TEM analyses were performed to confirm the size and shape of the plant-derived recombinant PAP-Fc fusion proteins. In mice experiments, the plant-derived IgA and IgM Fc fused proteins induced production of total IgGs including IgG1 against PAP. This result suggests that IgA and IgM Fc fusion can be applied to produce recombinant PAP proteins as a prostate cancer vaccine in plant expression system.

하이퍼큐브와 많은 면에서 비슷하면서도 절반 정도의 지름을 가지는 등 개선된 망 성질들을 가지는 꼬인 큐브는 병렬처리 시스템의 상호연결망으로 각광 받아 왔다. 짝수인 m 에 대하여 크기가 $2{\times}2^m$인 메쉬가 연장률 1과 확장율 1로, 혹은 크기가 $4{\times}2^m$인 메쉬가 연장율 1과 확장율 2로 꼬인 큐브에 임베딩됨은 최근에 알려졌다 [Lai and Tsai, 2008]. 그러나 양변의 길이가 모두 8 이상인 메쉬가 꼬인 큐브에 연장율 1로 임베딩되는지는 알려진 바가 없다. 본 논문에서는 m 이 짝수일 경우엔 크기 $2^n{\times}2^m$인 메쉬가 꼬인 큐브에 연장율 1, 확장율 $2^{n-1}$ 로 임베딩됨을 보이고 m이 홀수일 경우엔 연장율 1, 확장율 $2^n$로 임베딩됨을 보인다 ($1{\leq}n{\leq}m$).

A convex $RP^n$-structure on a smooth anifold M is a representation of M as a quotient of a convex domain $\Omega \subset RP^n$ by a discrete group $\Gamma$ of collineations of $RP^n$ acting properly on $\Omega$. When M is a closed surface of genus g > 1, then the equivalence classes of such structures form a moduli space $B(M)$ homeomorphic to an open cell of dimension 16(g-1) (Goldman [2]). This cell contains the Teichmuller space $T(M)$ of M and it is of interest to know what of the rich geometric structure extends to $B(M)$. In [3], a symplectic structure on $B(M)$ is defined, which extends the symplectic structure on $T(M)$ defined by the Weil-Petersson Kahler form.

Let A denote the set {$a{\in}M_n{\mid}a{\geq}0$, $tr(a)=1$}, $St(M_n)$ the set of all states on $M_n$, and $PS(M_n)$ the set of all pure states on $M_n$. We show that there are one-to-one correspondences between A and $St(M_n)$, and between the set of all extreme points of A and $PS(M_n)$. We find a necessary and sufficient condition for a state on $M_{n1}{\oplus}{\cdots}{\oplus}M_{nk}$ to be extended to a pure state on $M_{n1}+{\cdots}+_{nk}$.

본 논문에서는 $0.12{\mu}m$ 게이트 전극을 가진 metamorphic InAIAs/InGaAs high electron-mobility transistors (mHEMT)를 이용하여 제작된 60 GHz push-push 발진기의 특성을 고찰하였다. 전극 길이가 $0.12{\mu}m$ 인 mHEMT는 700 mA/mm의 최대 전류, 600 mS/mm의 최대 전달정수, 170 GHz $f_T$, 그리고 300 GHz 이상의 $f_{MAX}$ 등 우수한 특성을 나타내었다. 두 개의 $6{\times}50{\mu}m$ 크기를 가지는 mHEMT 를 이용하여 제작된 발진기는 59.5 GHz 에서 6.3 dBm의 출력 전력과 -35 dBc 이상의 기저 주파수 억압도를 나타내었다. 페이즈 노이즈 (phase noise)는 발진 주파수의 1 MHz 오프셋에서 -81.2 dBc/Hz 의 특성을 나타내었다. 본 연구 결과는 60 GHz 대역에서 mHEMT를 이용하여 제작된 push-push 발진기로는 최대 출력을 나타낸 결과이며, 이 연구 결과는 상용화와 저가격에 InP HEMT 보다 유리한 mHEMT를 이용하여 고출력 발진기 특성을 얻을 수 있음을 보여준다.
