The relation of children's stress-coping styles to Risk of Internet Gaming Addiction(RIGA) was examined in 662 4th, 5th and 6th grade subjects. Results showed that active coping styles were negatively but aggressive and passive/avoidant coping styles were positively related to RIGA. In male students, coping styles of "active" and "passive/avoidant", "aggressive" influenced RIGA factors of "maladaptive behaviors" and "negative emotional experience". In female students, coping styles of seeking social support related positively to RIGA; coping styles of "active", "passive/avoidant", and "aggressive" influenced "maladaptive behaviors", "negative emotional experience", and coping styles of "active" and "passive/avoidant", "seeking social support" influenced "low academic attitude", RIGA factors, respectively. Coping styles of "active", "passive/avoidant", "aggressive", and "seeking-social-support" influenced "psychological absorption and fixation".
The purpose of this study was 1)to examine the effect of various stress on adjustment in terms of depression and well-being, 2) to examine whether the widow's self complexity and coping behavior mediate the effect of various stress on adjustment . The subject was composed of 117 women in the first 7 years of their widowhood. The major results of findings were as following: 1. Widows experienced children-related stress(54.7%), financial stress(47%), emotional loneliness(42.7%), relational stress(34.2%), and instrumental stress(27.4%) in their order. 2. Widows who experienced emotion loneliness had high depression and low well-being. And Widows who experienced financial stress reported low well-being. 3. When widows experienced instrumental stress, Widows who had high active coping behavior reported high well-being than widows who had low active coping behavior.
An extracellular pretense of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens S94 was purified to apparent homogeneity. The enzyme activity was strongly inhibited by general inhibitor for serine protease, PMSF, suggesting that the enzyme is a serine pretense. The purified enzyme activity was inhibited by leucine peptidase inhibitor, bestatin, suggesting that the enzyme is a leucine endopeptidase. The maximum proteolytic activity against different protein substrates occurred at pH 10, 45$^{\circ}C$ (protein substrate) and pH 8, 45$^{\circ}C$ (synthetic substrate). The purified enzyme was specific in that it readily hydrolyBed substrates with Leu or Lys residues at P$_1$ site. The pretense had characteristics of a cold-adapted protein, which was more active for the hydrolysis of synthetic substrate in the range of 15$^{\circ}C$ to 45$^{\circ}C$, specially at low temperature.

The self-image classified grace attraction factor, intelligence factor and activity factor. Relationship between body-satisfaction and self-images was significant to gracious attractive factor and active factor. The shopping-orientatons classified brand name disply factor, personality pride factor, pratical benefit factor, prudence factor, planning purchase factor. Shopping-orientatons and self-images were significant to Pearson's correlation. The aim of this study help fashion contractors and retailers to establish effective marketing strategies.
This research is based on the survey of welfare beneficiaries, aiming to set up the gender-equal welfare policies. Through the survey, this research examines status of women in the family and society and also examines, the degree of perception of women's welfare policies, needs, and satisfaction. According to the survey results, the current welfare policies that are limited to needy women should expand its range, enforcing the infra structure. That employment policy for women turned out to be very important in welfare policies. Demand for more enlarged welfare policies is quite high, especially in housing, employment and elderly care. On the contrary, the degree of satisfaction degree appears quite low because of unrealistic welfare program and benefits. In order to improve the welfare policies, more active and realistic employment policies should be emphasized with the proper support for family life. To raise the status of women, proper policies for women's economic independence should be set up. In addition, consciousness of gender equality should be encouraged in the whole society. Also, women's participation in politics and decision-making process is necessary.

Background: Infections with human papillomavirus (HPV) are highly prevalent among sexually active young women in India. However, not much is known about the incidence of type-specific human papillomavirus (HPV) infections and their patterns of persistence, especially in the Indian context. Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the rate of acquisition and persistence of HPV types in young women. Methods: Women residing in an urban slum in Delhi (n=1300) were followed for 24 months at 6 monthly intervals. Exfoliated cervical cells collected at each visit were tested for the presence of HPV DNA. Genotyping was performed using the reverse line blot assay. Results: The incidence rate for any HPV type was calculated to be 5 per 1000 women-months. Among high risk HPV types, HPV16 had the highest incidence rate followed by HPV59, HPV52 and HPV18, i.e., 3.0, 0.58, 0.41 and 0.35 women per 1000 women-months respectively. The persistence rate was higher for high-risk than low-risk HPV types. Among low-risk types, HPV42, HPV62, HPV84 and HPV89 were found to persist. Whereas almost all high risk types showed persistence, the highest rate was found in women with HPV types 16, 45, 67, 31, 51 and 59. The persistence rate for HPV16 infection was 45 per 1000 women-months. Conclusion: Incident HPV infections and high risk HPV type-specific persistence were found to be high in our study population of young married women. Understanding the patterns of HPV infection may help plan appropriate strategies for prevention programs including vaccination and screening.
Purpose: This study was conducted to identify sexual functioning in women with gynecologic cancer. Method: Sexually active women with gynecologic cancer without evidence of distant metastasis were recruited in Seoul, Korea from a university medical center. Subjects were asked to complete an anonymous mail-back survey on their sexual functioning. Result: One hundred eighty four women completed questionnaires. Their mean age was 51.0 years and 96.2% lived with their husbands. Subjects were diagnosed with cervical cancer(53.8%), ovarian cancer (27.7%), or endometrial cancer(18.5%). Sexual functioning for women with gynecologic cancer was relatively low, 15.4, in comparison to Rosen's cutoff scores of 26.6. Univariate analyses indicated that age, employment status, and their monthly income were significantly associated with sexual functioning. Tumor staging, treatment modality, and hormone replacement therapy were also significantly associated factors with women's sexual functioning. Sexual arousal, orgasm, and pain were affected by time since last treatment. Conclusion: Sexual counselling or education for women with gynecologic cancer should be considered by medical professionals in order to improve their quality of life including sexual functioning.
Background: Cervical cancer is the second most common in Thailand, but the mortality rate may be rising yearly. It is a cancer that can be prevented by early screening for precancerous lesions, several methods being available. Objective: To identify the prevalence of abnormal Papanicolaou (Pap) smears and lesions with visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) in pregnant women and assess risk factors for this group. Materials and Methods: This prospective study was performed at Prapokklao Hospital, Thailand during April-July 2016. All pregnant women of gestational age between 12-36 weeks who attended an antenatal clinic were recruited. All participants were screened for cervical cancer by Pap smear and VIA. If results of one or both were abnormal, colposcopic examination was evaluated by gynecologic oncologist. Results: A total of 414 pregnant women were recruited. Prevalence of abnormal Pap smear and VIA were 6.0 and 6.7 percent, respectively. The most common abnormal Pap smear was low grade intraepithelial lesion (LSIL, 44%). Factors associated with abnormal Pap smear in pregnant women were low BMI, multiple partners and being a government officer. In pregnancy, Pap smear had higher sensitivity and specificity than VIA for detection of precancerous cervical lesion. Patients with young coitarche or more than 25 years of active sexual activity were high risk groups. Conclusions: Prevalence of abnormal Pap smear and VIA in pregnant women was 6.0 and 6.7 percent, respectively. Factors associated with abnormal Pap smear were coitarche, years of sexual activity, low BMI, multiple partners and being a government officer.
Background: Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women worldwide. Failure to prevent cervical cancer is partly due to non-participation in regular screening. It is important to plan and develop screening programs directed towards underscreened women. In order to identify the factors associated with underscreening for cervical cancer among women, this study examined Pap test participation and factors associated with not having a time-appropriate (within 3 years) Pap test among a representative sample of women in Ontario, Canada using Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) data. Materials and Methods: Univariate analyses, cross-tabulations, and logistic regression modeling were conducted using cross-sectional data from the 2007-2008 CCHS. Analyses were restricted to 13,549 sexually active women aged 18-69 years old living in Ontario, with no history of hysterectomy. Results: Almost 17% of women reported they had not had a time-appropriate Pap test. Not having a time-appropriate Pap test was associated with being 40-69 years old, single, having low education and income, not having a regular doctor, being of Asian (Chinese, South Asian, other Asian) cultural background, less than excellent health, and being a recent immigrant. Conclusions: Results indicate that disparities still exist in terms of who is participating in cervical cancer screening. It is crucial to develop and implement cervical cancer screening programs that not only target the general population, but also those who are less likely to obtain a Pap tests.

This study examined the effects of consumers' perceptions and expectations about refund on consumers' behavior to refund and its outcome. Major results of this study could be summarized as follows. First, consumers' perceptions and expectations about refund were higher in the case of defective products. However, consumers' behavior to refund were generally passive resulting in the low chance of refund. When there was no defects in product, consumers perceptions and expectations for refund were generally lower resulting in passive and the low chance of refund. Second, when there was defects in product, both consumers' perceptions and expectation tot refund influenced their active behaviors for refund, but not in the successful outcome. In contrast, when there was no defect, those two variables impacted on the behaviors for refund positively In addition, the more active those behaviors requesting for refunds were, the more successful outcome in refund request.
