The viscosity for hi-solid pressure sensitive adhesive to improve water soluble low viscosity pressure sensitive adhesive polymerized using seeded polymerization. While seed binder polymerizing it produces an optimum polymerization condition, and acrylic acid and seed binder concentration changed were measurement of viscosity variation and adhesive power at the substrate (SUS420J) as flowing results. In adhesive polymerization, seed binder concentration 7 wt%/monomer was recovered 60% of solid content, 2,100 cps of low viscosity and clear adhesive film. When acrylic acid content was 4 wt%/monomer, it was turned excellent adhesive power and holding power.

The light-transmission technique has been applied to a slit rheometer for measuring red blood cell aggregation as well as blood viscosity over a range of shear rates. For measurement of blood viscosity and aggregation, instantaneous pressure and transmit-light intensity are measured with time. Using a precision pressure measurement, one can determine the shear stress and shear rate. In addition, a transmitted light through a blood sample indicates degree of RBC aggregation. With abruptly flowing with high shear rate, RBCs rapidly disaggregate and the intensity of the transmitted light becomes low. When continuously flowing with decreasing shear rate, RBCs tend to re-aggregate and the corresponding transmit-intensity gradually increases with time. The light intensity as a degree of RBC aggregation is plotted against shear rate and compared with blood viscosity. The advantages of this design are dual measurement at a time, simplicity, i.e., ease of operation and no moving parts, low cost, short operating time, and the disposable kit which is contacted with blood sample.
A previously designed capillary viscometer with measuring differential pressure was modified to measure the viscosity of non-Newtonian fluids including unadulterated blood continuously over numerous shear rates in a single measurement. Because of unavoidable experimental noise and a limited number of data, the previous capillary viscometer experienced an inaccuracy and could not directly determine a viscosity without an iterative calculation. However, in the present measurement there are numerous data available near the point of interest so that the numeric value of the derivative, d(In Q)/d(In Q$\sub$w/), is no longer sensitive to the method of differentiation. In addition, relatively low and wide shear rate viscosity measurements were possible because of the present precision pressure-scanning method with respect to time. For aqueous polymer solutions, excellent agreement was found between the results from the pressure-scanning capillary viscometer and those from a commercially available rotating viscometer. In addition, the pressure-scanning capillary viscometer measured the viscosity of unadulterated whole blood without adding any anticoagulants.
The purpose of this paper is to study the fuel economy improvement experimentally when the viscosity of engine oil is lowered. The emissions are measured for CVS-75 mode with SAE viscosity grades. The test results indicate that a close correlation has been found between the engine oil viscosity and the fuel economy. The lowering of engine oil viscosity causes the reduction of friction loss which has a very close relation with the fuel economy. These results as the lowering of engine oil viscosity will be a important factor for improvement of the fuel economy and reduction of the $CO_2$ emission.
Brake theory of viscosity, which can sucessfully calculate the viscosity of real gases, dense gases and liquids, is extended to the binary gas mixture. Adjustable parameters are not involved, but the calculated results are good agreements with the experimental values at high pressure as well as low pressure. Corresponding state equation for viscosity can be obtained by using the Redlich-Kwong equation, so that we hope this equation may be useful for the supercritical fluid in engineering applications at high pressure around the critcal point.

Investigating the seepage characteristics of the leaching solution in the ore-bearing layer during the in situ leaching process can be useful for designing the process parameters for the uranium mining well. We prepared leaching solutions of four different viscosities and conducted experiments using a self-developed multifunctional uranium ore seepage test device. The effects of different viscosities of leaching solutions on the seepage characteristics of uranium-bearing sandstones were examined using seepage mechanics, physicochemical seepage theory, and dissolution erosion mechanism. Results indicated that while the seepage characteristics of various viscosities of leaching solutions were the same in rock samples with similar internal pore architectures, there were regular differences between the saturated and the unsaturated stages. In addition, the time required for the specimen to reach saturation varied with the viscosity of the leaching solution. The higher the viscosity of the solution, the slower the seepage flow from the unsaturated stage to the saturated stage. Furthermore, during the saturation stage, the seepage pressure of a leaching solution with a high viscosity was greater than that of a leaching solution with a low viscosity. However, the permeability coefficient of the high viscosity leaching solution was less than that of a low viscosity leaching solution.
An experimental study was conducted to evaluate the viscosity characteristics of multi-grade engine oils in which contain diesel fuels. Unused engine oils of SAE 5W40, 10W40 and 15W40 were blended with a diesel fuel ratio of 5%, 10%, and 15%. The viscosity of a diluted engine oil was measured with temperature variation ranging from $-20^{\circ}C$ to $120^{\circ}C$ using a rotary viscometer. The diluted engine oil in which is blended to a diesel fuel plays an important role for decreasing an engine oil viscosity, which may decrease the oil film thickness and a load-carrying capacity. Test results show that the viscosity tends to fall for the increased temperature when engine oil is mixed with a diesel fuel. Especially, the viscosity at a low temperature zone is radically decreased compared with a high temperature zone. Based on the experimental results, the empirical equation that can predict the viscosity of diluted engine oil is expressed in the exponential function with the variation of the temperature and a fuel ratio of diluted engine oil. This equation may be possible to predict the limitation of the oil-fuel dilution rate at the concept design stage of the CDPF system, which doesn't affect the influence of the tribological components.
Stability of the moving historic sites have something to do with the degree of easiness of work as well as physical property of polymer product. These agents should be able to use without the effect of outer environments like water or low temperature and must have stability during progress of working the peel off Urethane pre-product from Epoxy surface. So, we synthesized low viscosity epoxy resin and hardener with best physical quality and separation media for the moving of historical sites. These products have very good tension strength, adhesion strength, low viscosity and various physical properties that the users want. Particularly, separation media products have good separation of Urethane pre-products surface and Epoxy final product surface.
