  • 망간 산화물 촉매, 망간-세륨 산화물 촉매에서 톨루엔의 촉매 산화에 대하여 조사 하였다. XRD, TGA, 톨루엔-TPR 분석을 통해 촉매의 특성을 조사하였다. 톨루엔 산화반응에 있어서 망간 18.2 wt.% 세륨 10.0 wt.%이 적절한 비율인 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 세리아가 망간 산화물에서의 활성을 증진 시키는 것으로 보여진다. XRD결과 $MnO_2$가 황성 자리인 것으로 추측된다. TGA 톨루엔-TPR결과 세리아가 격자 산소의 이동성, 활성자리의 적절한 상화 상태, 저온에서의 환원능력 및 활성자리의 재산화 능력을 증진시키는 것으로 사료된다.

즉석 추어탕을 냉동 건조미꾸라지의 저장성 (Storage Stability of Freeze Dried Loach for Instant Choo-o-tang)

  • Storage stability of boiled and freeze dried loach and antioxidative effect of Zanthoxylum schinifolium were studied to confirm the possibility in development of instant choo o tang(Korean traditional loach soup). Packaging and storage temperature did not cause a measurable change in in vitro protein digestibility and trypsin indigestible substrate within 45 days of storage but remarkable quality changes were occurred in all samples stored after 60 days. Vacuum packaging and low temperature storage(4 oC) had some effect in retarding protein quality deterioration due to delaying polyunsaturated fatty acid oxidation. Maximum peroxide value and TBA value were reached in 15 days, and there were a slow(TBA value) and rapid reduction(POV) after peaks were reached. In contrast, increasing brown pigment development and fluorescence intensity continued until 90 days of storage. Treatment of ethanolic extracts from Zanthoxylum schinifolium prior to freeze drying could protect against lipid oxidation of freeze dried loach products.

광 및 저온처리한 벼잎 절편에서 분이한 엽록체의 전자전달 활성 (Electron Transport Activities of Chloroplasts Isolated from the Detached Rice Leaves Stored under Low Temperature with Illumination)

  • The electron transport activities of choloroplasts isolated from hte detached rise (Oryza sativa L. cv. Chucheong) leave stored under low temperature(4$^{\circ}C$) with light illumination were investigated to understand the role of light in the low temperature inhibition of photosynthesis in the chilling-sensitive plants. Chlorophyll content of the detached leaves upon incubation at 28$^{\circ}C$ and 4$^{\circ}C$ in the dark was also measured. The rice seedlings were grown with Hoagland medium in the growth chamber of 28$^{\circ}C$ temperature and 400 ft.c fluorescent light with the photoperiod of 16 h. Although chlorophyll content of the detached leaves stored in the dark declined by 61.7% after 28$^{\circ}C$ treatement, there occurred only 5.2% decrease of chlorophyll with 4$^{\circ}C$ treatment. Low temperature treatment(4$^{\circ}C$) for 6 days brought about decreases in total photosystem(PS II+PS I) activities by 35.2% and 73.6% in te presence and absence of light, respectively, while after 28$^{\circ}C$ treatment of the detached leaves for 6 days in the dark there was only 27.6% decrease in PS II+PS I activity. PS II activities were also decreased by 35.6% and 72.2% in the light and dark, respectively. PS I activities were decreased slightly, however, by 7.6% and 16.2% in the light and dark, respectively. Investigations into DPClongrightarrowDCPIP and NH2OHlongrightarrowDCPIP activities revealed that low temperature inhibition of PS II activities was not due to the inactivation of the water oxidation capacity at low temperature. It was concluded that light protects the electron transport activities of isolated rice chloroplasts from the inhibitory effect of low temperature in the detached leaves.

중합도에 따른 저점도 실리콘유의 유전 특성 (Dielectric Properties of Low Viscosity Silicone Oils with Degree of Polymerization)

  • The characteristics of dielectric constant and $tan{\delta}$ of low viscosity silicone oils with changing degree of polymerization were investigated. The result shows dipole loss mechanism at low temperature range. The dielectric loss in the range of low frequencies are predominantly of ionic nature with temperature increase. The peak of dielectric loss is the detrapping of the electrons which is were trapped in the localized level of the silicone oils at the frequency of 30 kHz. The increase of ionic conduction is attributed to the presence of ionizable oxidation products and their increased dissociation feature. The activation energy ${\Delta}H$ and dipole moment ${\mu}_d$ were increased whit increasing degree of polymerization.

  • Recently, the population of vehicles using LPG as fuel has been increasing due to relatively low fuel price and low tax. Although gasoline engine oils we usually used to lubricate LPG engines, some troubles such as oil thickening and TBN depletion were found in them under severe operating condition. In order to investigate the deterioration mechanism of lubricants in LPG engine, field trials were performed. The results from the field trials showed that the deterioration of oils in LPG engine is different from that in normal gasoline engine. LPG engine oil was deteriorated mainly through oxidation and nitration at high temperature rather than contamination of fuel combustion products.

망간 산화물에 의한 톨루엔 촉매 산화 반응 : (I) 촉매 반응 및 특성 평가 (Toluene Catalytic Oxidation by Manganese Oxide : (I) Activity and Characterization)

  • The catalytic oxidation of toluene in low concentration was investigated over manganese oxide/$\gamma$-A1$_{2}$O$_{3}$ catalysts. As increased manganese loading, the conversion of toluene increased at a lower temperature. The 18.2wt$\%$ Mn/$\gamma$-Al$_{2}$O$_{3}$ appeared to be the most active catalyst. XRD results indicated that most of the catalysts exist as MnO$_{2}$ and Mn$_{2}$O$_{3}$ crystalline phase. After the reaction, the used and the fresh catalysts were characterized by XPS. For the used catalyst, a prominent feature has increased. TPR profiles of 18.2 wt$\%$ Mn/$\gamma$-Al$_{2}$O$_{3}$ changed significantly as the manganese loading increased at a lower temperature.

  • Syngas combustion characteristics of mass produced oxygen carrier particle (OCN706-1100) were investigated in a pressurized fluidized bed reactor using simulated syngas and air as reactants for reduction and oxidation, respectively. The oxygen carrier showed high fuel conversion, high $CO_2$ selectivity, and low CO concentration at reduction conditions and no NO emission at oxidation conditions. Moreover, OCN706-1100 particle showed good regeneration ability during successive reduction-oxidation cyclic tests up to the 10th cycle. Fuel conversion and $CO_2$ selectivity decreased and CO emission increased as temperature increased. These results can be explained by trend of calculated equilibrium CO concentration with temperature. However, fuel conversion and $CO_2$ selectivity increased and CO emission decreased as pressure and gas residence time increased.

고회분탄의 촤 산화 반응 특성 연구 (Char Oxidation Characteristics of High Ash Coal in Drop Tube Furnace)

  • 4 가지 탄종(Gunvor, Glencore, Noble, ECM)의 촤 산화반응 특성을 $900^{\circ}C$에서 $1300^{\circ}C$까지의 노내온도와 대기압 조건에서 DTF(drop tube furnace)를 이용하여 실험하였다. 촤 반응률은 FT-IR 장비로 측정한 CO, $CO_2$ 농도와 이색온도계로 측정한 입자온도를 통해 계산되었고 고회분탄의 활성화에너지(E)와 pre-exponential 상수(A)는 아레니우스 방정식을 기초로 계산되었다. 실험 결과는 석탄의 회분 함량이 늘어남에 따라, 입자온도와 면적반응성이 감소하였다. 이러한 결과는 회분의 큰 열용량, 회분의 기화잠열과 상대적으로 적은 고정탄소의 함량으로 인한 연소성 저하로 사료된다. 결과적으로 고회분탄은 높은 활성화 에너지(E)를 가진다.
