의왕ICD 시설 및 운영개선 방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Ways to Improve Uiwang ICD Facilities and Operation)

  • 의왕ICD는 현대적 시설과 하역장비를 갖추어 연간 100만TEU를 처리 할 수 있는 수도권유일의 내륙컨테이너기지이다. 유리한 입지조건, 수도권 물류수송의 거점 역할, 내륙통관 기능 등 많은 이점을 가지고 있어 철도수송 활성화의 중요한 부분을 차지한다. 그러나 의왕ICD는 현재 시설 및 운영상의 문제점으로 컨테이너화물 철도수송 활성화의 한계에 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 의왕ICD의 문제점을 시설부분과 운영부분으로 구분하여 분석하고, 2023년 점용허가 기간이 만료되는 시점을 기준으로 단기, 중장기로 구분하여 개선방안을 제시하였다. 그러나 의왕ICD의 철도수송 활성화는 이러한 개선방안 외에도 철도공사와 입주업체의 노력과함께, 정부, 의왕시, 철도시설공단 등 관련기관의 지원과 협력이 있어야만 가능 할 것이다. 이러한 의왕ICD의 개선은 복합일관수송체계를 구축하여 효율적인 철도물류 인프라 조성 및 철도물류 활성화에 기여하고, 또한 친환경 수송시스템 구축으로 정부의 저탄소 녹색성장 정책에도 기조 할 것으로 기대된다.

자동차 온실가스 저감정책에 따른 이산화탄소 저감 효과 평가 (Evaluation of CO2 Reduction Effected by GHG Reduction Policy of Vehicle)

  • Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have given rise to climate change which is one of the most serious environmental challenges that the world faces today. In response, Republic of Korea has proposed "Low Carbon, Green Growth" as a new economic paradigm accompanying with the ultimate aim of building a sense of responsibility for the environment. Korean government has set the ambitious national GHG emission reduction target which aims 37% reduction in the business-as-usual (BAU) level of 2030. The transportation sector plays a key role in this target. In the transportation sector, the GHG reduction target of 34.3% in the BAU level by 2020 has been allocated in order to consider the industrial specificity. Furthermore, it is known that the GHG reduction in the transportation sector has relatively minimal side effects compared to those of other sectors. In order to meet this national GHG reduction target, Korean government has set $CO_2$ emission regulation of vehicle for 2020. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the reduction effects by the average GHG regulation of vehicles. $CO_2$ emissions, between 2009 and 2013 were analysed by reduction measure such as technology improvement, light-weight, segment shift, diesel vehicle sales. During this period, $CO_2$ of vehicle was reduced every year by 19.9 g/km (i.e., 3.3% reduction per year). $CO_2$ reduction of imported vehicle is greater than domestic vehicle because of segment shift toward small size vehicle and higher diesel vehicle sales.

낙동강 하류 수역에서 분자량 크기 및 형광특성을 고려한 용존유기물질 특성 (Characteristics of Dissolved Organic Matter(DOM) Based on Molecular Weight Fractions and Fluorescence Properties in the Downstream Nakdong River)

  • The characteristics and behavior of dissolved organic matter (DOM) were determined by analyzing the molecular weight fractions and fluorescence properties of water samples in the downstream Nakdong River. Biogeochemical water quality parameters and fluorescent dissolved organic matter (FDOM) were analyzed at five sampling points in the downstream area of the Nakdong River January-August 2019. The molecular weight fractions of the DOM were separated by the Liquid Chromatography-Organic Carbon Detection (LC-OCD). The DOM predominantly comprised humic substances, followed by the building blocks, low molecular weight neutrals and biopolymers. The hydrophobic (aromatic) and hydrophilic properties were shown as coexisting, as most of the SUVA254nm values were under four. The FDOM was characterized as humic-like (FDOMH) with allochthonous origin and protein-like (FDOMP) with autochthonous origin; the FDOMH with autochthonous origin was also identified. The FDOMH relies on the aromaticity of the allochthonous organic matter and increases during summer. The FDOMH and FDOMP, which depend on the biodegradable dissolved organic matter from phytoplankton, were highly fluorescent in winter. The allochthonous organic matter was the dominant factor contributing to the behavior of the DOM, externally introduced to the river by rainfall. The FDOM only minimally contributed to the behavior of the DOM. It can be explained as the seasonal characteristics of the DOM, varied by the source of the organic matter.

소나무, 주목, 느티나무 그리고 단풍나무의 입면 NDVI 비교 분석 - 강원대학교 내 조경수목식재종을 대상으로 - (Analysis of Elevation NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) for Taxus cuspidata, Pinus densiflora, Zelkova serrata and Acer palmatum - Focused on landscaping trees in Kangwon National University -)

  • This study was conducted by using a Nikon Coolpix S800c camera equipped with a NIR filter to measure the NDVI(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index). It was used for the measurement of the three trees of Pinus densiflora, Taxus cuspidata, Zelkova serrata and Acer palmatum in Kangwon National University. The NDVI value of the surface of the building was compared and analyzed. The average value of NDVI in August and September was high in all species. The NDVI distribution of Taxus cuspidata was higher than the other trees. The NDVI distribution of Pinus densiflora and Taxus cuspidata did not show any significant seasonal differences, but The NDVI distribution of Zelkova serrata and Acer palmatum were relatively low in May and June, which are leafless periods. Previous studies related to NDVI value were generally analyzed using satellite imagery. However, it was scarce related to study the NDVI value of each tree or study the changing process of NDVI by time series. Previous studies have used NDVI values on the ground but this study used NDVI values in the ground section. Future studies will be necessary to measure the NDVI value at different times for various species and also to make efforts to generalize the measurement method. In addition, research related to various fields such as the relationship between NDVI and carbon stocks and the relationship with LAI needs to be conducted.

Compressive behavior of galvanized steel wire mesh (GSWM) strengthened RC short column of varying shapes

  • In a reinforced concrete building different shapes of column are adopted depending on the structural orientation and the architectural aspect. When there is an increase in loading due to changes in usage or revision in the design codes these columns need to be strengthened for enhanced performance during their service life. Strengthening materials such as carbon fiber and glass fiber polymer has been successfully used however, due to high cost application other alternative materials need to be explore. Galvanized steel wire mesh (GSWM) is one of the suitable materials locally available. High tensile strength, low weight, corrosion resistance, easy installation, minimum change in dimensions of the sections and cost effectives are the advantages of GSWM. Therefore, in this paper, four different shapes of column such as circular, square, rectangular and L were wrapped with different layers GSWM and jacketed with mortar. All the specimens were tested under axial compression. The objective of the study is to investigate the effectiveness of GSWM as a confining material for strengthening of column having varying shape. Test results shows that the axial strength enhanced with wrapping of GSWM jacket and a circular column presented the highest load carrying capacity and ductility as compared to the others. From the study of 22 column specimens, it is found that axial load is increased upto 20% and 19% when circular and square column are strengthened with one wrap of GSWM respectively, while a rectangular and L column required a wraps of two and three layers respectively in order to achieved the same load capacity as that of a circular column. Based on the present study, it is concluded that GSWM can be effectively used for strengthening of different shapes of concrete columns economically.

우리나라 기후변화 대응의 저성과 원인에 대한 탐색적 연구 - 우리나라 CCPI(Climate Change Performance Index) 사례 중심 - (An Exploratory Study on the Cause of the Poor Performance of Climate Change in Korea)

  • The relevant ministries, including the Ministry of Environment in Korea, provided Post-2020 Long-term Mitigation Target and Implementation Plan. The plan consisted of four Business As Usual (BAU) reduction levels by 14.7%, 19.2%, 25.7%, and 31.3% until 2030. The Korean government finalized the mitigation target of 37%. But all the initial alternatives were below the goal, 30% from BAU, that has been promised to the international community as well as set out in the Framework Act on Low Carbon Green Growth. In order to achieve a specific goal, performance management should pursue "Justify doing the right things." Otherwise, performance management would not work properly. According to Kingdon's Policy Stream Framework, abnormal alternatives are difficult to be presented as scenarios because alternative building should focus on the role of the need to adhere to the basic principles and professionals. Such a result is possible only when the policy actors does not balance themselves. Performance management statistics has been analyzed by 6 years CCPI data since 2011, taking into account the impact after enactment. This study also has been complemented by a variety of sources, including the media, documents, and artifacts during the period. As a result, raising awareness about climate change was analyzed as one of the solutions because the climate change issue affects the normal performance management throughout the life of the people to stay linked to the environment.

Impact of waste crumb rubber on concrete performance incorporating silica fume and fly ash to make a sustainable low carbon concrete

  • The use of environmental-friendly building materials is becoming increasingly popular worldwide. Compared to the normal concrete, rubber-based concrete is considered more durable, environmentally friendly, socially and economically viable. In this investigation, M20 grade concrete was designed and the fine aggregates were replaced with crumb rubber of two different micron sizes (0.221 mm and 0.350 mm). Fly ash (FA) and silica fume (SF) replaces the binder as supplementary cementitious materials at a rate of 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20% by weight. The mechanical properties of concrete including compressive strength, tensile, and flexural strength were determined. The polynomial work expectation validates the response surface approach (RSM) concept for optimizing SF and FA substitution. The maximum compressive strength (22.53 MPa) can be observed for the concrete containing 10% crumb rubber, 15% fly ash and 15% silica fume. The reduced unit weight of the rubberized concrete may be attributed to the lower specific gravity of the rubber particles. Two-way ANOVA with a significance criterion of less than 0.001 has been utilized with modest residual error from the lack of fit and the pure error. The predictive model accurately forecasts the variable-response relationship. Since, the crumb rubber is obtained from wasted tires incorporating FA and SF as a cementitious ingredient, it helps to significantly improve mechanical properties of concrete and reduce environmental degradation.

옥상녹화와 비 옥상녹화 평지붕에 설치 된 PV모듈의 표면온도 변화 고찰 (Study on Surface Temperature Change of PV Module Installed on Green Roof System and Non-green Roof System)

  • Today, various activities to save energy are being conducted around the world. Even in our country, carbon reduction policy is being conducted for low carbon green growth and with this movement, effort to replace energy sources by recognizing the problems on environment pollution and resource exhaustion due to the indiscrete usage of fossil fuel is being made. Therefore, active study on renewable energy is in progress as part of effort to replace the energy supply through fossil fuel and solar ray industry has rapidly developed receiving big strength of renewable energy policies. The conclusion of this study measuring the surface temperature change of single crystal and polycrystalline PV module in green roof system and non-green roof system aspect are as follows. There was approximately $4^{\circ}C$ difference in PV module temperature in green roof system and non-green roof system aspect and this has the characteristic to decrease 0.5% when the temperature rises by $1^{\circ}C$ when the front side of the module is $20^{\circ}C$ higher than the surrounding air temperature following the characteristic of solar cells. It can be concluded that PV efficiency will be come better when it is $4^{\circ}C$ lower. Also, in result of temperature measurement of the module back side, there was $5^{\circ}C$ difference of PV module installed on the PV module back side and green roof system side on the 5th, $3^{\circ}C$ on the 4th, $2^{\circ}C$ on the 5th to show decreasing temperature difference as the air temperature dropped, but is judged that there will be higher temperature difference due to the evapotranspiration latent heat effect of green roof system floor side as the temperature rises. Based on this data, it is intended to be used as basic reference to maximize efficiency by applying green roof system and PV system when building non-green roof system flat roof.

마이크로기포제를 사용한 콘크리트의 열적 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Thermal Characteristics of Concrete Using Micro Form Admixture)

  • 최근 전세계는 급격한 기후조건과 환경변화에 의해 냉난방 에너지 사용이 증가되고 있으며 이는 화석 연료 사용량 증가와 함께 $CO_2$ 배출량 상승, 지구 온난화 등 환경과 에너지에 대한 수많은 문제를 유발하고 있어 세계 각국은 온실가스 배출 및 에너지 소비 감소를 위한 대응책을 마련하고 있다. 우리나라 또한 정부의 '저탄소 녹색 성장' 및 '친환경 주택 건설기준 및 성능' 등의 정책을 선포하는 등 건물 부분에 있어 환경과 에너지 관리에 대한 노력을 하고 있다. 우리나라의 총 에너지 소비량 중 건물 부문이 차지하는 비율은 약 25%에 달하며 다른 산업 분야에 비해 연간 에너지 소비 증가율이 높은 편이다. 건물에서 에너지 손실이 가장 큰 부위는 외피로서, 이 부분의 에너지 손실을 감소하기 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으나 이는 대부분 창호 및 단열재를 사용한 연구이며 건물 외피의 70% 이상을 차지하고 있는 콘크리트에 대한 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 따라서 건물의 에너지 손실을 최소화하기 위해서는 콘크리트 자체에서 단열성능을 확보할 수 있어야 하며 이에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 콘크리트의 단열성능을 확보하면서 구조용으로 사용이 가능한 콘크리트를 개발하기 위한 실험을 진행하였다. Test 1의 실험결과로써, Micro Foam Admixture (MFA)를 사용한 콘크리트는 슬럼프 경시변화가 개선되었으며, MFA의 혼입율을 증가할 경우 압축강도는 감소되고 열전도율은 증가되는 결과를 나타내었다. Test 2의 실험결과에서는 물시멘트비 변화시 물시멘트비 증가에 따라 압축강도는 감소하였고 열전도율은 증가하였다. 그러나 잔골재율 변화에 대한 물성 및 열적 특성은 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다.

슬래그부산물을 자극제로 활용한 고활성 고로슬래그 미분말 모르타르의 압축강도 발현 특성 (Properties of Compressive Strength of Mortar Based on High-activated Blast Furnace Slag using the Slag by-product as an Activator)

  • 건설산업에서는 탄산가스 저감을 위해 산업부산물을 다량 활용하는 기술개발을 위한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 산업부산물 중 특히 고로슬래그 미분말은 잠재수경성에 기인하여 장기강도는 우수하나 초기강도가 낮기 때문에 많은 양을 대체하는데 한계가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 철강공정 중 용선예비처리 공정에서 발생하는 슬래그부산물을 활용하여 고활성 고로슬래그 미분말을 시험 제조후 고활성 고로슬래그 미분말의 모르타르 압축강도 강도발현 특성을 검토하였다. 또한, 고활성 고로슬래그 미분말 단독으로도 경화가 가능한 특징을 고려해서 2차 콘크리트 제품용 결합재로서 활용 가능성을 검토하고자 배합조건에 따른 콘크리트 제조 및 압축강도 발현특성을 검토하였다. 실험변수로써 슬래그부산물의 분말도, 치환율, 양생조건 및 W/B를 설정하였다. 그 결과 슬래그부산물을 자극제로 활용한 고활성 고로슬래그 미분말 모르타르의 압축강도 향상을 확인하였으며 고활성 고로슬래그 미분말이 단독으로도 경화가 가능하기 때문에 양생 및 배합조건을 고려하면 고활성 고로슬래그 미분말을 콘크리트 2차 제품용 결합재로서 활용 가능할 것으로 판단된다.
