Characteristic for the Near Field of Rectangle Loop Antenna using Optical Electric-Field Sensor (광전계 센서를 이용한 구형 Loop Antenna의 근접전계 특성)

  • In this paper, in order to investigate the near field distribution characteristic of the Loop Antenna we simulated and measured the near field of a Loop Antenna using optical electric-field sensor in a large Chamber(8.5 m x 7 m x 7 m). The simulation methods were used MoM for frequency domain and FDTD for time domain. From the analysis results, it can be seen that the simulation and measurement results are very aggregated, and the optical electric-field sensor is a certificate of validity. In frequency domain, in case of the optical sensor with vertical polarization is located above the near vertical line of the Loop Antenna the signal strength level is more 15 ㏈ than with horizontal polarization. But in case of the optical sensor located above horizontal line of the Loop Antenna, signal strength level is not different. And, in the time domain, although input signal is positive, in the case of the optical sensor with vertical polarization is located above horizontal line of the Loop Antenna, it can be seen that the received pulse shape is negative.

Traffic Volume and Vehicle Speed Calculation Method for type of Sensor Failure of Automatic Vehicle Classification Equipment (AVC 장비의 센서고장 상황에 따른 교통량·통행 속도 산출 방법)

  • The current operation method for the AVC (Automatic Vehicle Classification) equipment does not generate vehicle speed, traffic volume and vehicle type information when part of the sensors has failed. Inefficiency of current methods would not use the collected data from the normal sensor. In this study was conducted research on the calculating method at the traffic volume and vehicle speed in the sensor failure AVC equipment. The failure situation of the sensor was classified into 4 types. Calculating the traffic volume and vehicle speed information for each type, and accuracy of these informations were analyzed. Analysis results, traffic volume was possible to calculate a highly accurate value (accuracy: 100%, 98%, 97%). In the case of speed, the accuracy of the calculated speed value reaches a level that can be accepted sufficiently (RMSE value is less than 16.8). So, using the methodology proposed in this study are expected to be able to increase the operational efficiency of the AVC equipment.

  • 본 연구에서는 광섬유형(Fiber Optic Current Sensor) 광전류센서 구성 시 발생하는 선형복굴절(Linear Birefringence)의 보상에 용이한 수직원형틀(Orthogonal Loop Type) 센서헤드(Sensor Heads)를 개선하여 1 Cross 수직원형틀(l Cross Orthogonal Loop Type)을 제시하였다. 그리고 기존의 페루프형 원형틀 (Closed Loop Type), 수직원형틀 그리고 1 Cross 수직원형틀의 편광상태를 비교하였다. 그 결과 편광상태 측정 시 페루프 원형틀을 수직원형틀로 교체할 경우 15.3%, 1 Cross 수직원형틀로 교체할 경우 33.8%의 선형복굴절 감소 효과가 나타났다. 이에 1 Cross 수직원형틀을 광전류센서에 적용할 경우 안정된 편광특성으로 고신뢰성 광전류센서 개발 가능성을 높게 할 것이다.

  • This paper presents the improvement of start-up characteristic of sensorless controlled IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) with SMO(Sliding Mode Observer). It is difficult to utilize the rotor position information at starting point for the back EMF estimation based sensorless control. For this reason, open loop control is normally used during start-up period. However, changing from open loop to closed loop control might bring a problem on the transient characteristics for difference load conditions. To solve this problem, we add another rotor angle controller. Simulation results and experimental results are presented to verify proposed method.

  • 본 논문에서는 자기저항 (Magnetic Resistive, MR)각도 센서에서 자속 간섭 및 축 진동과 같은 외란에 의해 발생하는 각도맥동을 해결하는 방법이 연구되었다. 외란에 의한 각도 맥동은 일정한 기계각 속도 한 주기 내에서 전기각 속도가 불균일하게 측정되는 현상이다. 이를 해결하기 위해 위상동기루프 (phase locked loop, PLL)를 적용하였고, 자기저항 각도 센서의 각도 맥동을 효과적으로 제거하였다.

  • When the fiber Bragg gratings are embedded in a fiber-optic Sagnac loop for measuring temperature or strain, it is difficult to separate the Bragg wavelengths. The transmitted light is mixed with the reflected Bragg wavelengths in the photo-detector, working as noises. To suppress the noises, we placed the FBG sensors and a fiber-optic attenuator at asymmetric positions in the loop. With the arrangement the reflected light became much bigger than the transmitted light, enabling the separation of the reflected Bragg wavelengths with almost the same signal-to-noise ratio of the FBG sensors outside the loop.

  • 수배전반 내부에서 Arc 사고 발생시 동반되는 광신호를 검출할 수 있는 광센서를 개발하였다. 개발된 광센서는 특정 부위에 설치되어 해당 위치에서 발생하는 광신호를 검출하는 Point Sensor와 넓은 범위를 감시할 수 있는 Loop Sensor의 두 가지 형태로 구성되어 있다. 두 가지 모두 광섬유를 통하여 계전기 등에 부착되며, 일반 통신용 광섬유보다 큰 core를 갖는 특수 광섬유가 사용되었다. Point Sensor는 광섬유 끝단에 부착된 Cap에 의해 광신호가 검출되고, Loop Sensor는 광섬유 자체가 Sensor로 사용되어 광신호의 검출 및 전승을 수행한다. Point Sensor에 부착되는 Cap은 보다 넓은 범위 감시하고, 광신호 발생 위치에 따른 편차를 줄일 수 있는 형태로 설계되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 슬라이딩 모드 관측기를 이용하여 IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)의 센서리스 제어의 기동특성에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. IPMSM의 센서리스 제어는 초기 구동시 회전자의 위치를 알 수가 없으므로 Open-Loop알고리즘을 이용하여 강제로 모터를 구동시킨다. 그러므로 Open-Loop에서 Closed-Loop로 제어되는 시점에서 부하의 상태에 따라 기동 특성에 문제점을 야기 시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 부하에 따라 기동 특성에서 야기되는 문제점과 해결책을 제시한다. 제시된 방법을 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증한다.

  • A clock system is proposed to eliminate data loss due to frequency difference between sensor nodes in a sensor utility network. The proposed clock system for each sensor node consists of a bust clock-data recovery (CDR) circuit, a digital phase-locked loop outputting a 32-phase clock, and a digital frequency synthesizer using a programmable open-loop fractional divider. A CMOS oscillator using an active inductor is used instead of a burst CDR circuit for the first sensor node. The proposed clock system is designed by using a 65 nm CMOS process with a 1.2 V supply voltage. When the frequency error between the sensor nodes is 1%, the proposed burst CDR has a time jitter of only 4.95 ns with a frequency multiplied by 64 for a data rate of 5 Mbps as the reference clock. Furthermore, the frequency change of the designed digital frequency synthesizer is performed within one period of the output clock in the frequency range of 100 kHz to 320 MHz.

  • This paper handles the design of a real time traffic data acquisition system using loop detector and piezo-electric sensor to acquire the vehicle information EISA compatible parallel I/O interface card is designed to sample 30 I/O channels at variable rates for raw traffic data acquisition. The control software is designed to generate the traffic data informations from the raw data. The traffic data information provides vehicle length, speed, number of axles, etc. Vehicle types are detected and categorized into eleven types from the vehicle length, axles positions and axle counts information. The traffic information is formed into packet and transferred to the remote hosts through serial communications for ITS applications.
