공급사슬 파트너십에서 물류서비스 품질 요소의 중요도 지각 차이 비교 (Comparative Study on Perception Difference about Importance of Quality factors in Logistics Service in Supply Chain Partnership)

  • 본 연구는 경쟁심화와 고객서비스 욕구의 다양화로 인해 물류서비스 품질 및 공급사슬 관리에 관한 연구가 중요하게 부각되고 있는 시점에서 물류서비스 품질요소에 대한 공급사슬 파트너십의 구성원들의 지각 차이를 비교분석하였다. 이를위해 공급사슬 내에서 공급자와 수송업자, 구매자가 중요하게 판단하는 물류서비스 품질에 대한 인식을 측정하여 t-test를 실시하였다. 분석결과 공급사슬 내의공급자, 수송업자, 구매자가 중요하게 평가하는 물류서비스 품질 요소의 차이가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한 공급사슬 파트너십에서 시장지향성과 장기지향성이 높은 공급자와 낮은 공급자간에 중요도 차이 지각을 비교한 결과, 시장지향성과 장기지향성이 낮은 경우에는 대부분의 항목에서 집단 간의 차이를 보이고 있는 반면, 높은 경우에는 상호작용성에 대부분의 집단 간에 중요도 평가 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

신흥국 기업의 지배구조와 기업의 장기 생존 (Corporate Governance and Long-term Corporate Survival in an Emerging Economy)

  • This paper investigates how corporate governance characteristics are related to long-term corporate survival in an emerging economy. We used the data of 311 companies listed on the Korean Stock Exchange (KSE) in 1979 and examined the survival chances of those companies through the IMF crisis in 1998, upon governance characteristics that are expected to increase long-term strategic orientations. We utilized Cox regression model for the analysis. The results indicate that firms with particular governance characteristics that may be tied to CEO's long-term orientations show higher long-term survivability. Specifically, the probability of a firm's long-term survival is increased when founding family ownership is sustained, the company ownership is concentrated, and the CEO is the largest shareholder. This study has significance in that it is one of initial tries to examine the impact of corporate governance on long-term corporate survival with large scale statistical analysis. Also, the study findings provide some clues as to why the portion of family firms in emerging economies is continuously increased, thus providing meaningful insights to corporate governance literature.

  • Relationship marketing research has traditionally focused on the relationship among customer satisfaction, trust, and customer commitment, while assuming that the causal relationship of customer $satisfaction{\rightarrow}trust{\rightarrow}commitment$ is well understand. However, recently many scholars argue that customer satisfaction, trust, commitment can not explain long-term orientation fully, and suggest the need for more extensive researches investigating the determinants of long-term relational retention. The purpose of this study was to explained the relationship development process through the mediation effect of contact intensity and relationship termination cost between customer satisfaction and trust, and between trust and commitment, and an analysis the causal relationship among these variables. The results were as follows. First, the customer satisfaction had both direct and indirect effects on trust mediated by contact intensity. Second, the trust had both direct and indirect effects on commitment mediated by relationship termination cost. Third, the commitment influenced long-term orientation. Finally, the empirical results confirmed that the model add to the concept of mediation with contact intensity and relationship termination cost plays a strong, central role in explaining relationship development process between customer and fashion retail stores.

피부미용 서비스품질이 호혜성지각·장기적 관계지향에 미치는 영향 (An Impact of Skin Care Service Quality on Perceived Reciprocity and Long-term Relationship Orientation)

  • 피부미용숍의 증가로 차별화된 경쟁우위를 확보하기 위해서는 고객의 욕구를 충족시켜 줄 수 있는 서비스품질 개발이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 피부미용숍을 이용하는 고객의 서비스품질이 호혜성지각과 장기적 관계지향에 미치는 관계를 알아봄으로써 피부미용숍 운영에 필요한 마케팅 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 본 연구는 서울·경기도, 전라남·북도, 경상남·북도에 소재한 피부미용숍을 이용한 여성 고객 290명을 대상으로 직접방문 및 E-mail, 우편 등을 이용하여 설문조사하였고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS Ver. 18.0과 Amos Ver. 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 본 연구에서 설정된 연구가설에 대한 이론적 모형에의 전반적인 적합도는 양호하다는 것이 증명되었고, 가설 1은 관리사 업무능력, 시설 및 위생, 관리제품은 호혜성 지각에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나 부분적으로 채택되었고, 가설 2는 관리사 업무능력, 관리제품, 기기 및 도구가 장기적 관계지향에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나 채택되었으며, 가설 3은 호혜성 지각은 장기적 관계지향에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나 채택되었다. 따라서 관리사의 업무능력, 시설 및 위생, 관리제품, 기기 및 도구는 고객에게 고마움을 느끼게 하거나 피부미용숍의 지속적 방문을 유도하기 위한 서비스 품질 요소라 할 수 있다.

제조업체와 유통업체간의 장기적 협력관계 구축을 통한 공급사슬관리 방안 : 식품제조업을 대상으로 한 소매업체 관점 (Long-Term Relationship Strategies Between Retailer and Suppliers for the Effective Supply Chain Management: Retailer Perspectives toward Food Manufacturers)

  • The paradigm of the corporate innovations has been changed from the intra-company innovations to the inter-company innovations. A prevalent approach to the inter-company innovations is the supply chain management. Three key words of the core concept of supply chain management are the long-term relationship, resource integration, and value creation. Specifically, it means that the supply chain management aims to make value creation through the resource integration for the supply chain entities, based on the long-term relationship between buyers and sellers. To make more effective long-term relationship among the supply chain entities, it is very important for the supply chain entities to analyze followings: i) What variables can influence the long-term relationship, ii) How these variables can influence to the long-term relationship. However, previous researches mostly deals the long-term relationship in the marketing area in fragment, and thus few research efforts have been done for the development of conceptual model using supply chain management theories. In contrast to previous studies, our research tried to develop and examine the integrative research model by introducing both the marketing theories and the supply chain management theories, and thus related hypotheses are derived. A multiple regression analysis was performed to examine the influence of the antecedents of the long-term relationship, for the 87 retailers of grocery supply chains. The empirical results confirm that cultural similarity, reputation, interdependency, and trust positively influence long-term relationship (i.e., partnership orientation and partnership symmetry). And results also confirm that the supply implementation factors such as organization integration, information system integration, and process integration playa moderating role between antecedents and long-term relationship. These findings suggest that companies should perceive the importance of managing the process, organization, information system integration in the long-term relationship implementation process as well as the factors such as cultural similarity, reputation, interdependency, and trust in the long-term relationship establishment process.

치과위생사의 성취동기가 근속의사에 미치는 영향 (Effect of dental hygienist's achievement motivation on intention to stay)

  • Objectives: Previous research on turnover has been conducted from the organization's perspective. However, for the long-term retention of dental hygienists, it is necessary to conduct research from an individual's perspective. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of achievement motivation on the intention to stay of dental hygienists. Methods: This study conducted an online survey targeting dental hygienists working in dental healthcare institutions, using convenience sampling from September, 2023. The analysis included 152 participants with long-term work experience and 121 participants with shorter work experience. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify factors influencing retention intentions (PASW Statistics ver. 23.0, p<0.05). Results: Factors influencing intention to stay for long-term dental hygienists included the number of dental hygienists and achievement motivation (responsibility, challenge, task orientation), with a significant impact (adj. R2=0.317). For shorter-term dental hygienists, achievement motivation (challenge, task orientation) demonstrated a significant impact (adj. R2=0.164). Conclusions: It was observed that intrinsic factors, particularly achievement motivation, had a significant impact on intention to stay. Consequently, exploring strategies to satisfy intrinsic motivation, such as achievement motivation, is deemed necessary.

The Impact of Marketing and Brand Value on the Long-Term Purchasing Behavior Regarding Industrial Goods.

  • Purpose - This study aims to determine the effects of marketing factors on the long-term purchasing behavior regarding industrial goods, using data from wholesalers and retailers. Research design, data, and methodology - We used multiple regression analysis and 3-step regressions to investigate causality. We used 177 questionnaires targeting wholesalers and retailers of industrial goods. Results - First, long-term purchasing behavior is positively related only with advertising and marketing factors. Second, the relationship between marketing factors and brand value show that the physical environment, word-of-mouth advertising, and publicity are positively related, except advertising and sales promotion, respectively. Third, brand value and long-term purchasing behavior are positively related. Finally, brand value is not a mediator between marketing factors and long-term purchasing behavior. Conclusion - This study suggests that industrial goods providers should use marketing strategies that are different from those used in the consumer market. Further, if they want to maintain long-term relationships, they should increase their brand value.

위탁급식사와 고객사 간의 관계특성이 관계의 질과 장기지향성에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of The Relationship Characteristics Between Contracted Foodservice Companies and Its Client Companies to Relationship Quality and Long-Term Orientation)

  • The objective of this study was to examine the effects of relationships between food service companies and their client companies by surveying employees working at cafeterias among a food service companies' client companies. For this purpose, previous research was reviewed, and confirmatory research was conducted using a questionnaire. In the questionnaire survey, the subjects were sampled through convenience sampling from the client companies of A Food Service Company, and 182 valid questionnaires were used in the analysis. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the characteristics of the relationship between the food service company and its client companies, which were reputation, communication, operation skill, and contact-point employees' service quality, had a significant effect on trust, and the effect was high in the order of contact-point employees' service quality, communication, operation skill, and reputation. Satisfaction was significantly affected by reputation, operation skill, and contact-point employee' service quality, but not by communication. The effect was high in the order of contact-point employees' service quality, reputation, and operation skill. In addition, reputation, communication, operation skill, and contact-point employees' service quality had a significant effect on long-term orientation, and the effects were high in the order of reputation, contact-point employees' service quality, communication, and operation skill. Second, with regard to the quality of relationships between a food service company and its client companies, trust had a significant effect on satisfaction. Third, among the factors related to the quality of relationships between the food service company and its client companies, trust and satisfaction had a significant effect on long-term orientation, and the effect of satisfaction was higher than that of trust. This study has scientific significance as one of only a few studies on factors affecting the long-term relationship between food service companies and their client companies, along with managerial implications that contact-point employees' capabilities are most important in service businesses, and thus efforts should be made at employing and educating them properly.

고객시민행동의 주요 선행 및 결과 변수에 관한 연구: 기업과 고객 간의 장기지향성에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 (A Study of Determinants and Outcome of Customer Citizenship Behavior: Focusing on Long-Term Orientation between Service Organization and Customer)

  • 마케팅 과정에 있어서 최근 고객의 참여 및 역할에 대한 관심과 중요성이 점점 커지고 있다. 이러한 흐름 속에서 본 연구는 고객시민행동과 이에 대한 선행요인과 결과 변수들에 대한 문헌연구를 통하여 고객시민행동의 개념을 정리하였다. 고객시민행동은, 고객이 서비스를 제공받기 위해서 수행하는 참여행동을 초월하여, 서비스 제공자에게 협조하고 서비스 조직에 건의사항을 제공하며 다른 고객을 도와주는 등의 행동을 통해서 궁극적으로 서비스 품질 향상에 기여하는 행동을 의미한다. 본 연구는 이러한 고객시민행동에 영향을 미치는 주요 선행요인을 규명하였다. 나아가 고객시민행동의 결과인 기업과 고객 간의 장기지향성에 미치는 고객시민행동의 영향에 관한 개념화를 바탕으로 실증연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과에 의하면 고객은 서비스 상황에서 자신이 타인과 비교하여 공정하게 대우받았다고 지각할 때, 그리고 고객이 기업으로부터 정서적·수단적 지원을 많이 받았다고 지각할수록 고객시민행동을 적극적으로 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 고객이 기업이 제공하는 서비스에 대한 가치를 높게 지각할수록 기업에게 긍정적으로 기여하는 고객시민행동을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 고객이 기업에 공헌하는 고객시민행동을 통해 해당 기업과의 관계에 있어서 장기지향성을 보인다는 가설 또한 지지되었다. 본 연구는 고객시민행동에 대한 개념화와 실증분석을 통하여 고객시민행동의 주요 선행변수와 결과에 관한 통합적 모델을 제시함으로써 이 분야의 연구가 나아갈 방향의 기초를 제공하였다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

The Effects of Service Worker's Customer Orientation on Organizational Citizenship Behavior

  • Every organization needs to maintain its long-term effectiveness through the positive perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors of its members. Customer orientation, job satisfaction, and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) are the important functioning aspects for the long-term organizational effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of service-worker's customer orientation on OCB within Korean bank and insurance sector by analyzing the relationship of constructs in the conceptual model. To achieve research objectives, survey method is employed. Findings of this research reveal that both need and enjoyment dimension of CO are very important in predicting OCB. We sent 220 questionnaires to service workers of the bank and insurance then received 200 valid responses. The research was conducted in bank and insurance agency in J city. The choice of these two types of organizations was dictated by the fact that they have large number of service worker with diverse background at multiple levels in these industries. Results also indicated that the moderating effect of pay satisfaction on the relationship between their OCB and CO had a weak effect.
